Surely this must be the soundtrack for the movie 2020. It embodies all the pain, all the movement, all the self reflection, and also the beautiful that is so part of the 2020 experience.
It was the movie Platoon where I learned about Adagio for Strings where the scene shows the betrayal and death of a captain in the most tragic way. This version takes this classical piece to a whole new level. I've been listening to your work. You are amazing.
I first heard it as an Acapella in the Homeworld Game Series, there’s a movie called Homeworld that has nothing to do with the games, is why I said game series. Although tbh, Homeworld is more famous than that movie anyway!

Hmm.... It's nice, I like it, but if I may? Let that first few stanzas go arhythmic, really draw them out to pull us in an establish the feeling of things a bit. Your first few stanzas are your main opportunity to make your audience know what they should be feeling in the music. So leave the engine out for those, then bring it in with a heavier flourish, maybe with a sweeping pickup in the chorals and such along with it. Also Adagio plays HEAVY into drawing out the end of each stanza. Let them hold. Let them linger a bit, let them be the thing that draws our breath out just a bit longer. You've got a good feel for the layer of composition. Now you just need to really nail down the FEEL of it. You've learned the rules. Now learn how to break them for effect.
