Just an idea. I started passing out business cards to certain people at garage sales. Gave one to a guy about a month ago. He called me this morning. Long story short - I stopped by his house over the noon hour. Picked-up a ton of vintage Star Wars items DIRT cheap!! If you haven't already, go on-line or to an Office Max and design business cards....they work!!
Great haul! I gotta hit up more yard sales next Spring. Just recently I started asking people if they had games or old toys and it led to so many great attic and garage digging finds.
my mom sold my whole collection of GI-Joe when i was about 17... i had nearly every figure from 1984 on up to the mid 90's... all organized, all weapons in little tackle boxes...vehicles comics..... i'm 41 and still pissed
Dido... guys mine went in 97 before I was even awake at the family yard sale... everything from fisher price , lincon logs, matchbox, vintage Star Wars, all 9 eras of G.I. joes from 84 - 1991, plus go-bots & Transformers... even my Flash Gordon , D&D toys which stings today
Thats what I tell my son...."Let's go treasure hunting !!! " He doesn't like shopping thst much ,but Im teaching him the little I know about good quality brands and value.

And you may have figured it out already but those broken figures are easy to fix, but they will also sell well still broken, just throw the parts in a pile a take a pic of the pile and sell as a broken G.I. Joe figs lot. Big money sometimes.
@@ShawnStinson I haven't looked into actually fixing them yet, mostly just cleaning everything up and seeing what accessories go where. But, from what I can tell it just seems like a rubber band or something inside them? I don't mind doing minor repairs so ill probably end up looking into doing it.
ReadySetResell That’s right. There are a bunch of RUclips videos that will show you how to easily replace those O-rings. If you have any trouble identifying something feel free to ask. I’m not as familiar with those late 80’s and early 90’s Joe items, but I have a Joe book of that stuff that will help identify parts.

Wow, mate in the UK we just cant find retro stuff like that. I am a very minor RUclipsr and go around what we call car boots in the UK, everyone knows the value of retro over her so you cant find a bargain. Nice finds
Wow that's a great toy score lol out for all the night force gi joe toys they were toys r us exclusives back in the day and are worth big bucks if you take the time to piece everything back together and fix the orings on the broken figures that's probably an easy 600 lot right there

Im a gi joe collector and yeah on the hovercraft and Gi Joe mobile command center you should get your money back and than some. Im jealous as hell. I miss living in the states. I rarely see gi joe stuff in yardsales in japan. It only survived one year in japan so theres only one available line lol.

I nearly crapped my pants wean i seen that second box of what you were wearing you as Transformers stuff.i do believe you have a complete devastatorn second release yellow.a grieved Paul devastator ive seen go 100 and up if you've got the complete yellow one generally even in today's market that would still be 100 or more. Ironically in a meeting knockoff a few years back and i bought one in the box complete for about $10 literally bought it out of novelty where they were selling knockoff toys at A vendor in the mall nd iam just waiting for the cops to roll off and nailed a guide for selling copyright violated merchandise. the knockoff that I picked up ironically is actually worth money as I hundred and it.i mainly picked it up because it's Fox is quite similar to the original 1980 packaging and i wanted to go with a display..ive been trying to get one piece of the original green devastator every time I see it on eBay they want like 40 and $50 just for that one transformer.the G.I. Joe's are not broken they guess the new O-ring which are super cheap. Some of the G.I. Joe toys you have are very expensive. that Transformers building sat ive never even seen one of those myself so it could be quite valuable.
G. I. Joe's ... From what I saw you've got forth wave toys mainly 1990's.. the Transformers are a few knock-off / China's versons ... But a great haul..
