Dad's usually say that they feel useless because the newborn needs his mom for feeding etc., but this is a great example of how dad's can truly help...even just by reminding the mom that she was amazing during delivery. You are a great example Jared!

Ellie your planters look amazing! Wish mine looked half so good. I'm amazed by how much Jared seems to do of his own initiative - changing nappies, cooking dinner, keeping an eye on the children. My husband is very willing to help but always has to be asked first, he seldom looks around and does something he sees needs doing without me feeling like I have to bother him by asking.

Aw so glad he's nursing so well. My 4 week old Ryan has a tounge and lip tie and makes feeding difficult but we are still going strong my first boy couldn't feed properly so I'm so proud of myself and him for keep trying. Hope he feeds as long as u can. x🧡

I'm so glad nursing is going well. So you know, pediatricians can't diagnose tongue and lip ties accurately. They don't teach it in their curriculum. They can take a best guess, but you really should ask a pediatric dentist instead. Luckily you don't seem to need it with Tommy, but if you ever do, ask a pediatric dentist (not a regular dentist).
angela_flute52689 I 100% agree. Even most LCs aren’t trained in it. I asked the hospital LC if my son had a lip tie when he was born and she said no. Luckily I knew an IBCLC who sought out the training and she assessed him, said he was in fact lip tied and referred me to a ped dentist who specialized in tie revision. It saved our nursing relationship.
