Hi Luke, on the bottom of both mics there's a nut that you can unscrew. Then place the mics in the shock mount and screw on the nut again. This will secure the mics in the shock mount and you can place the M70 directly towards yourself :)
@@MajorHiFi From the mic position in your video: Turn the mic-stand with the M70 by 180 degrees, loose the finger screw on the shock mount, tilt the shockmount with the mic towards your mouth. Works wonders, no boom-arm needed ; )
@@RockmannMusic, It is shocking how few people can figure out how to adjust the "joints" on equipment stands. I have had to adjust so many speaker stands that "don't have adjustments for that direction" because people don't understand you can exactly what you just explained.
Hello, as I could hear in your video, it seems that the M90 has a stronger close-up or is it deceptive? I'm looking for a microphone that has a strong close-up.

On the front address mic I am pretty sure you don't need an added pop filter. The microphone is surely designed to withstand pops.
Appreciate the review fam, much love!

Hi, yes they were secured, but my mic stand does not have the ability to tilt forward enough sadly.

I am considering buying one of these, mainly for voice-over and vocal recording… what is the best mic for the job? The M90 Pro?
