My 9 year old daughter & I cozied up and watched this together....she said, "Mom, it's like Little House on the Prarie"..... that made me smile. I love all of your your beautiful touches...... your tree is so lovely! The ribbon going throughout is lovely and there is such a natural, vintage charm in all you have done. The red plates you got from the antique store remind me so much of my grandma's blue plates she had in her home, as well! What a find!

I swear I would never want to leave home if I had this property!! It's always been my DREAM to have a little piece of property and a beautiful, old, farmhouse just like this!! I currently live in a historical home, but it's in the middle of town. If only I could have my house moved! LOL

My Four children used to love to help make popcorn and cranberry garlands..they are all in their 40s now and my grandchildren are in their 20s and late teens. Miss Christmas through a child's eyes.

I never knew I would love some Christmas coloured plates. So much more tasteful and pleasing than those the commercial looking Santa type stuff.
Those stockings are stunning in your home. Love the tree as well. I use all sizes and colors of tartan plaid and red and white ticking. I have for years and I’ve never tired of it. 🎄😊

You use scissors on the craziest stuff. Wire and tree branches! You crack me up. My mother used to do the same thing. She called them her kitchen scissors. She would drag them out to the garden, do crafts, and all sorts of other stuff. The house looks amazing.
Looks great! I love the paperclip plate hanger idea. That front door is gorgeous! The faux garland on the banister looks so pretty with the ribbon and bells. The stocking clips are practical and pretty in their simplicity. I also have the clip on candlestick tree lights and love them for an old world feel. The pops of red look great as does the red transferware. The picture looks perfect above the mantel with the greenery and stockings.It looks like you had some great helpers! You have a beautiful home filled with so much character and love!
I always wait to see a nativity on every Christmas video, maybe there is one you can have made or find one that matches your theme so it doesn’t ruin your look, I find them so beautiful every year. The greenery you have looks pretty. God bless.
If you melt the bottom of you candles slightly they will slide into the candle holders and stay there a bit better 🙂 your house is looking so much like Christmas 🎄 very lovely

Well , where to start? I love all you Christmas ideas. The house really has come along. I love all the cozy feeling, There will be lots of children laughing , talking and happiness. there are so many people that would love to have you as their family. I like the greenery on the railing. I painted my stair railing last winter. it is cream white. I need something new on it this year. We need to find something to do to help our Covid Christmas better. I know send a kid!! LOL. To me, Christmas trees look their best lit-up at night, when everyone's gone to bed - it's more magical. I'd have finished with that kind of shot, though I suppose it's not very original! Beautiful clip though - I particularly liked the plates you found.
