Thanks for the video. Endeavour os looks very polished & clean. The community are very helpful as are the devolopers. The next time I'm looking for an arch distro it will be this one
Wonderful and very informative video! Thank you very much for putting this together and sharing!I am just starting out using Endeavor OS and trying to move away from Kali Linux!
Mister Zubair, do you have any tips that are specific for the LXQt Desktop? I have Endeavour as a VM so a few of your suggestions can be disregarded. I created it so I can learn a bit about the Arch way. Any suggestions that would teach me something about Arch style distros?
I'd put setting up printing and file sharing pretty high on the list (assuming network and printer sharing is needed). This process is a PITA btw. I've struggled to get local sharing working for a week.
One question regarding mirrors. Even though you are in Pakistan, you’ve chosen the US mirrors. Isn’t that very slow? Or are those servers faster than more local servers in general? And if so, wouldn’t it select the fastest server anyway when selecting worldwide?
Only one things stops me from switching to arch/manjaro/endeavour. It's VMWare Horizon client. Drive sharing doesn't work and i still can't find a solution. On Fedora 36 it works like a charm.
Excellent video! I will save this to my playlist so I can redo it every time I accidently delete my system.
Glad it helped Thomas!
