Very cool video and what a great wine. A trip to the Douro valley a few years ago really gave me an appreciation for Port. Great stuff that can age a very long time. I'm sure you're right that this 2000 vintage is still drinking very young.

I have two bottles of the 2003! Very nice to see your review of the 2000 and maybe an indicator I should continue to cellar my bottles.

    Trophy!
Love your show, thank you for all your hard work. I will be in Napa in a few weeks, do you have any favorites winery experiences there to visit?

Lew: I think just being in Yountville and just in the town, there are lots of wine shops that have great tastings. A lot of the bigger wineries have more generic tours. If you are going to the better ones, you normally have to write to them beforehand for a private tour. I would recommend asking your local retailer and see if they have any connections. Otherwise, you are kinda stuck with generic tours. If you are living in one of the hotels in Napa, they may also have some connections. Cheers!

Hard to find bad port nowadays, the quality from the last decade or so has been marvelous especially 2011 and 2017. IMO top vintage ports from 2011 are already in their drinking windows and will age for 50-60.
