I mean I love the instrumentals without fully understanding what the vocalist is saying, but damn, when you see the lyrics man they hit hard. Some of the deepest shit out there.
@@journeythecrab493 I feel like he took all of these deathcore elements and made them more "metal" and that's why I loved this album so much. (I am not gonna say whether I believe core is metal or not bc I don't wanna start shit that won't get resolved but let's just say more "metal" in the traditional/purist sense)
possibly the best death metal song ever...no shit no fanboy crap...this is the whole package...a ride start to finish how it didnt get an ''a body farm '' style video is beyond me this is far and wide the best song on the album in my opinion
Freaking best death/grind ever, probably the only one which doesn't suck. They can actually right both music and lyrics, and their vocalist is actually talented.
***** Haven't listened to their early, grindcore stuff, but I love Carcasse's melodeath work. The name Circle of Dead Children is vaguely familiar, but I haven't actually listened to them, so I'll look them up. EDIT: Okay, I have heard Circle of Dead Children before. Definitely better than most deathgrind, but I prefer Cattle Decap.
***** Just remembered I was already familiar with some of their earlier stuff with "incarnated solvent abuse". Another good deathgrind band, but Cattle Decap reigns supreme in the genre. Also, I'm not sure what to make the cover art for Symphonies of Sickness. :P
I checked them out and it is pretty damn good, it's like slam deathcore but its not shitty deathcore (you know what bands I'm talking about lol) thank you for sharing.
I do actually realize this songs riffs and structure are pretty simple, but even that is more complex then mainstream computer beat+ singing. Most metal is pretty complex though, take Beyond Creation for example, their compositions are complex and technical as hell.
Has anyone seen this song Studio Report: Vocals and they made fun of him for being too melodic calling him Celine Dion? @ 2:45 but they changed it lmao
But i will say that the song is amazing, and that its the genre. @fiscalkittenboi the band over all is extremely talented and writes some pretty awesome stuff. i would honestly suggest looking at there other stuff before saying that they're talent-less.
Repetitive? I see what you mean, the intro, a minute in and the solo all sound similar. Wait. No. Also, next to no talent? Metal takes more talent than any mainstream music out there today.
I love how he rolls his R's
1:14 "We have ripe potatoes, great price for 2 tomatoes"
lol
xD
i read that as he said it
The solo part in the middle is just beautiful.
Sanctum Quis it gives me chills it's that good
I was thinking the same thing. The feeling in that solo is amazing
I mean I love the instrumentals without fully understanding what the vocalist is saying, but damn, when you see the lyrics man they hit hard. Some of the deepest shit out there.
I just love the way he says "look"
"BLECH!" - Travis Ryan

I call it the wicked witch voice 😅 . Funny actually because now I notice he sounds like Skeleton Witch, idk if coincidence or subconscious 😮😅
1:27
That bass doe.
"We're ripe for the slaughter...but live to ruin another day". Beautiful.
"We rise to the slaughter of the essence of our being" Probably has the single greatest impact of any other lyrics to this song. IMO
The whole monolith album is fucking insane! The instrumentals are great and all, but the vocals are mind blowing!
The vocals are legendary. Travis is a fucking genius
top 5 favorite albums!
1:26 Blows my mind every time i hear it.
I've never heard the word 'look' sang with such beauty. It's my favorite part of the whole album.
possibly the best death metal song ever...no shit no fanboy crap...this is the whole package...a ride start to finish how it didnt get an ''a body farm '' style video is beyond me this is far and wide the best song on the album in my opinion
I agree.. Probably my favorite song of theirs
The greatest no doubt. Meaningful and brutal
the melodic break in the middle gives me goose nipples every time I hear it
+Nerelic Official "goose nipples"

What about dying fetus there fucking awesome
The middle of the song is strangely beautiful. Sure majesty, Cattle Decapitation are.
man that solo is fucking amazing...crushing and is still bringing me back
Probably the best vocal performance for a death metal song
3:40 love that guitar part
Those melodic parts... so beautiful. And such great lyrics!
Best fucking song and band ever
Alright I'll give them a listen
I checked them out and it is pretty damn good, it's like slam deathcore but its not shitty deathcore (you know what bands I'm talking about lol) thank you for sharing.
***** I'm well aware of that. If you were referring to my comment above I was replying to what dragoscribo about what he recommended me.
***** I'll keep my eyes on them then
Proof Travis is Celine Dion
you dont get heavier, or more original than this. Travis one of the sickest. This is how its done kids, take note.🤘
3:12 - 3:32 that bit hits so fucking hard

Such a badass song...... Travis Ryan is incredible.... when he "sings" those high parts.... amazing
2:40 Celine Dion part
great video, love this song and band, especially the "rise to the slaughter part"
Beautifully brutal...
Just think. Travis Ryan, Ian Bearer, and Luke Griffin... all in one song. Let that sink in for a moment..
Aidan Miller i dunno, they are all different genres. it might work, it might not. If it does work though it would sound fucking awesome!!!
Aidan Miller Travis Ryan and Dickie Allen*
Aidan Miller travis ryan, phil bozeman, ian bearer and cj
+Ohh Scourge if they all growled at once I might need a new heart.
Travis Ryan, Glen Benton, Trevor of TBDM and Chuck Schuldiner of Death on one death metal song will be sick
Def one of their best....
This song is just awe inspiring.
Thank you!!
Good job! Great song!
Thanks
The intro riff remind of Testament's "Disciples of The Watch" chorus.
Solo is amazing
2:34 my favorite part
Hey, this is a fucking good video for this song actually. Good job.
Who doesnt love that chorus, be real
Thanks, friend. I'll sing a cover of this song and you helped me a lot.
Why is no one talking about 1:30 to 2:52
That part feels like everyone's putting up their lighters just to show support...In a rocking way!
I do actually realize this songs riffs and structure are pretty simple, but even that is more complex then mainstream computer beat+ singing. Most metal is pretty complex though, take Beyond Creation for example, their compositions are complex and technical as hell.
Travis does that a lot with his phlegmy vocals.
0:26 HE FUCKING ROLLED HIS R?!?!?
Has anyone seen this song Studio Report: Vocals and they made fun of him for being too melodic calling him Celine Dion? @ 2:45 but they changed it lmao
Best part 0:00 - 4:14

1:27-2:48
Put your lighters up!
Powerful death metal with very true lyrics.
It’s deathgrind
This is fucking masterpiece
But i will say that the song is amazing, and that its the genre. @fiscalkittenboi the band over all is extremely talented and writes some pretty awesome stuff. i would honestly suggest looking at there other stuff before saying that they're talent-less.
Your name is engraved on my knife

This song isn't all that hard actually. My band is doing a cover of it, it's pretty straight forward.
11, 666 views. Seems fitting.
Repetitive? I see what you mean, the intro, a minute in and the solo all sound similar. Wait. No. Also, next to no talent? Metal takes more talent than any mainstream music out there today.
lol!
Creating the video takes effort as well.
Im pretty sure he wasnt saying amazing to your video, but to the song....
The video is great too, filthy douchebag!
hey there "pal" since "this music requires next to no talent at all" why dont you post a video of u doing a vocal, drum and guitar cover of this song?
Охуенно
Corey Taylor's a better singer than Travis Ryan: AND YOU MUST AGREE
No I must not fuck off
Lorenzo Grilli Travis Ryan is a better singer than Corey Taylor AND YOU HAVE TO AGREE
Lol
How about they are two different artist, who are both extremely talented in their own right?
Indian Conservative That's fine with me
