My favorite thing about Travis is not only is he a one of a kind vocalist but he’s a hilarious goof who doesn’t take himself too seriously which is refreshing
tavis is just a ridiculous vocalist, sometimes hes able to amit Animalistic screams from the depts of hell, guttural grows, pig squeals, melodic growling, and melodic vocals that remind me of a mutant troll from dank dark cave where no light shines through. He's one of the most diverse vocalist working in death metal today.

I don't know about king but certainly the most evolutionary in the scene. So many vocalists take from Travis Ryan. Dickie Allen, "I think that's his name", dude from the newer iterations of infant inhalator can do everything Travis Ryan can and then some but I will say that Travis Ryan is the KING of over dubbed vocals. There's no other vocalist that I know of atleast that can sound as insane as Travis Ryan when he overdubs his highs and lows together.
How is it possible that those demon destroying church exploding world collapsing brain bleeding vocals come out of such a soft spoken gentle styled human being
Thanks for the response =) I'm currently using an SM57, but I think this will make a great upgrade. I was thinking of going with the BLUE Baby Bottle, but I think I'm going to pick this up instead.
I came here terribly eager to check out wth those bizarre but really interesting vocals were, hoping to get some form of insight... I'm crying a torrent of tears right now, can't stop.
I noticed two amusing things. He looks at the lyrics on the laptop yet he is screaming and biting his tongue at the same time so it sounds like jibberish anyway. Also loving using an SM7B for EVERYTHING, holding it with your hands instead of a shock mount and using no pop shields at all. Ad-hoc!
You fucking nailed it Travis best DM album of 2012 vocally, his highs are what AC/DC should sound like to be anything good, lol. Enjoyed the album and all vocal styles, metal\,,/
