I was a kid starting playing guitar when this mindblowing album came out... Now I love playing along... Respect for bringing us these amazing killer riffs Dino 🤘PS GREAT interviewer too
Pitchshifter and Godflesh were doing the same thing but not as fast. The brutality of Demanufacture was second to none.
Heard them for the first time at Ozzfest ‘97 in Minneapolis at the old Metrodome. Was hooked on them after that. Demanufacture and Obsolete were such a great back to back album release.
I love Dino, especially because he’s a real dude and doesn’t put up with corporate music industry bullshit. I really hope Fear Factory will come back. It would mean a lot and a great way to stick it to the man!! Lol.
I had this album as a kid. I think I bought it at disc replay along with Sepultura's Roots in the late 90s. I liked it but didn't totally vibe with it and didn't listen for a very long time. Put it on last year on a whim and was annoyed with myself for not spinning it regularly this whole time.
Cool to hear that they were into raves, and have a clue about electronic music.
That's was hearable on that album.
90s were interesting times for merging dance electronica and rock/metal, even though both scenes were full of narrowminded genres orthodox, a lot of great crossover music were released.
I think soundtracks to Mortal Kombat and Spawn helped to move things foward in the mainstream as well.

Whoah what a story, its thanks to Rhys Fulber & the Mortal Kombat soundtrack I bought Demanufacture.
Just pre-ordered the 25th anniversary edition.

I wish Burton C Bell would rejoin and they did a surprise 2021 Tour
I really want to see that but i'm afraid Burton is finished with FF, for good 😞 At the moment, Dino is deciding who will be the new vocalist and i'm excited and worried at the same time! Also, let's embrace the final performance of Burton C. Bell in June when Aggression Continuum is released!

How is it gonna be fear factory without Burton c bell Burton said how can he part of fear factory now with someone he doesn't trust what so ever Dino should continue but with a new name

There is no more lawsuit, and Burton quit. Dino had the door open for him but Burt is gone.

@@dynamo4543 What did I just say? Burton is not coming back. These guys broke up a couple of years ago and Dino already gave Burton his chance. Burton walked. Also, Burton can't sing anymore. His vocals have been autotuned on albums for years and 5 years ago was resorting to miming backing tracks live. He's done.

he should revisit some A league bands music to help him reach higher levels.
