I live in Qatar but we in Cali at the time... woke up that morning in San Fran, had lunch with a friend in San Jose, then drove like the devil down to LA to the Hollywood Bowl, dropped my wife and kid off at a hotel right by the venue and ran in just as "Wind Cries Mary" was ending... great show, great night! Holy Crap!! Those people in the front are so close! I am jealous, very jealous; I was at the Verizon show in Irvine and I had lawn seats, but the front and center section at my show didn't seem anywhere near as close as at the bowl. Wow! That must have been an amazing experience for those folks, being that close.
