same. "mainstream sellout" just got released but i did not got tired of "tickets to my downfall" at all. mgk's new style is just so awesome, he's way better now than back when he used to be a rapper
Underated? This album was huge. Mgk won billboard rock artist of the year. It went platinum. It hit #1 on Billboard... That being said I rly like the album.
play this when im gone was actually a suicide note he wrote once for his daughter, and decided to make it a song in case he ever dies like so many other artists have
Yes and people don’t realize that he has said it himself his daughter and Others told him to sing it and release it and he really only intended it for his daughter and at that moment where he felt hopeless so he doesn’t like singing it to audiences
that last song he wrote to his daughter when he felt like he was ODing, and wanted to leave something for her behind. he preformed it a couple of times but wont sing it live again because its something he wants to keep between him and her.
I caught the album day of release and I loooved it, coming out when it did omg it was just perfect for me. Fav on the album we’re lonely, nothing inside and play this when I’m gone (imma sad boy ik😂) great reaction girls! Love y’all💙🦄
1. Bloody Valentine (Literally The 1st song on this album that i discovered and made me want to find more)lol. 2.All i know 3.Jawbreaker/My ex's best friend 4.Play this when im gone 5.Drunk face/Kiss kiss There are songs that you wont enjoy when you 1st hear it as much as when they grew on you upon listening to it more, like for example Kiss kiss and Drunk Face.
Loved this reaction, you guys should react to his lockdown sessions, I believe he's just released them again. Also, his previous album Hotel Diablo was really his transition from rap to his current pop/punk genre.
honestly my favorite album of all time. makes me genuinely happy and have made so many good memories with friends to these songs. 10/10. great reaction btw
Just a lil background of his life since y’all were wondering after “lonely”… when he was 9 his mom left him and when he started to get big into his career his father and him got disconnected for 7 years and his aunt who pretty much raised him told him he should reach out to him. He said no initially but she passed away so he did get in touch with him and found out he had a terminal illness. He then got some good memories with his dad before he died. Btw idk if this is exactly how it went down it just seems very valid based off of his songs on Hotel Diablo.
Y’all are so cute! I love how y’all just vibed and appreciated what Colton gave us on Tickets! I really hope Kells won y’all over! Lonely & Nothing Inside are my favorite songs 🤘🏼 Y’all just got a new subscriber 💓
fun fact: mgk wrote play this when I'm gone when he felt like he was overdosing and was supposed to be a final goodbye to his daughter and because of this depressing fact he refuses to play this live.
My friends and I were so excited for the album and loved it. We ended up getting tickets to go see him live last September in NYC at Pier 17 which is an awesome rooftop venue overlooking Manhattan and Brooklyn. Probably the best concern I'll ever go to! And y'all were spot on about how many of the songs would be good live. The energy was insane. Would love to see him live again. Nice review :)
I love you guys cuz on how much yall appreciate his musics when shit was real, thank u, as a fan of mgks stuff, it can be really refreshing to hear new love over all the hate he gates from blind haters
Your guys reaction was pure gold and everybody who listened to the album knows that there is no other way than falling in love with it cause it’s so real 🧖♀️
I think with this album its obvious not a lyrical as his rap stuff but because the music is so up beat people miss the lyrics a lot but he's such a musical genius
The song lonely was about his father that died and play this when I’m gone was about a suicide note he wrote to his daughter but he didn’t take his life which I’m thankful
He’s got like this album with the music videos and it tells a story y’all should react to that I bet y’all would definitely like it! Also he’s made some newer songs also 💯
If you liked that I would defiantly react to Mod Sun - “Internet Killed The Rockstar” Album, 11 songs + 8 song deluxe version. Full album + deluxe is 52 minutes and 24 seconds. Defiantly would recommend :)🙃
The album hotel diablo has some great ones for you noticed you likes the sad songs so , glass house , death in my pocket ,waste love and 5:3666 are some greate ones to react to !!
The last track, play this when im gone. The lyrics are mostly taken from a suicide note he wrote to Casie, his daughter in 2018. After his friend Juice Wrld passed, he took a sample from the track Up UP and Away to make this song. Realising his day might come earlier after seeing his friends die ( Mac Miller, Chester Bennington, Juice, Chris Cornell) , he wanted to make things clear to his daughter, say stuff that he never told her. As soon the track was recorded he sent it whole to his daughter.
really appreciate u making reaction videos in mgk music :) dude's literally a genius, u guys should dig in more. into his older stuff as well :') very underrated 🥰🙏
Mgk always puts on amazing concerts and this album was the perfect fit for his high energy and fan interactive concerts Can’t wait until “Mainstrean Sellout” drops on the 25th. His two song releases from that album have been 🔥 and he has some awesome features
You should watch MGK's movie downfalls high which has the entire tickets to my downfall playlist in it. Gives you a whole other look of the songs and it's really cool. Btw his movie is on yt and it's abt an hour long
I got so many great mgk songs y’all should check out! The whole hotel Diablo album is so good, all the lockdown sessions are great, and everything new from love race, paper cuts, emo girl, maybe, ay, and one of my favorites is why are you here!
MGK is a rapper and a rocker. He has a 10 year career in rap signed to bad boy who he's still signed to. This was his first full rock album. He just dropped mainstream sellout yesterday. It's amazing. If you liked tickets then you will love mainstream. EST XX 🤘🔥
Its worth listening to some rap of him. It doesnt have to be the fast rap, he also has a lot of slow sad rap songs that will make you cry. Im speaking of: Gone, 27, Waste love, Glass house and merry go around
btw the song play this when im gone he wrote for cassie his daughter about if we ever killed himself that she would have this song it's basically a "suicide note" that he wrote for her in a song
The video at the end where he didn’t wanted to the interview was because the interviewer said “I feel like your mom” which made him uncomfortably cause of his situation with his mom. He came back later that day and apologised to her, he even made the interview. He just didn’t like that she took that up.
what's the best song on this album? we'll go first: it's a tie between lonely and play this when i'm gone 🖤
You should react to poorstacy - the breakfast club (album).
Has a punk rock vibe similar to mgk
WW3 is my favourite song from the album it's short and chaotic and I love it I connect with it alot
Mine is if it isn’t the deluxe version it’s exes best friend or bloody valentine or kiss kiss but if deluxe is included it’s body bag > all
@@TempestOfficialAudio body bag is an amazing song
Drunk face, body bag, hangover cure
2 years later, this album still holds up. It's a banger, would recommend to anyone.

Yes and people don’t realize that he has said it himself his daughter and Others told him to sing it and release it and he really only intended it for his daughter and at that moment where he felt hopeless so he doesn’t like singing it to audiences
It’s got that like feeling and moment that he feels he doesn’t want to ruin by turning it into some icon and something he’s just singing on stage
Yeah imagine being Casie and hearing this song for the first time 😭
that last song he wrote to his daughter when he felt like he was ODing, and wanted to leave something for her behind. he preformed it a couple of times but wont sing it live again because its something he wants to keep between him and her.
It wasnt even suppose to be a song it originally was a suicide note for his daughter right when he was about to kill hisself
@@xxzombiepro69xx35 thats not what he said, he said he felt like he was oding so he wrote that note, not a suicide note.
Travis Barker is my absolute favorite drummer ever I love that he's doing so many different projects with people

There is actually an acoustic version of Bloody Valentine, also some Bonus Tracks on the Deluxe are fire too
