I noticed that when the pyrotechnic display begins Jackie turns to her right to look -- maybe she thought the stage had been set on fire.
She sings even better now. More mature and powerful voice, but with the same beautiful tone , timbre and even better vocal control. She still performs parts of this Nessun Dorma along with O Mio Babbino Caro at her concerts. She also still performs many of her earlier top songs like Music of the Night, The Impossible Dream and Ave Maria which show off her tremendous high notes.
Wow wow, I always wonder how it is that she somehow possessed a more matured, powerful and well trained voice as a child than she does now as an actual adult?? It normally should’ve been the other way around lol. There’s no more “wow” factor in her current voice other than the classic high notes she retained. Lower and middle register was shot dead. I keep coming back to old vids to get a dose of this sound. I’d listen to more of anything this version of her would ever sing, even the phone book.
