scalpers are the worst!! I was at work and set a reminder to buy the new wemby shoes but was 20 min late and they sold out in 30 sec!! Ridiculous now they are on eBay for 2 times the price!! 😢

@@Fitsbyfree it's complete bullshit from resellers and hypebeast who are boottlookers for corporations. Probably 90% of these didn't even go to real fans who actually wear them. Then an overpriced shoe will go for even more. Making sure poor people can't rep their favorite player because 1. they have to pay a reseller's fee and add 50 to 100 MSRP and 2. can't find access to since Nike/retailers let losers control their stock and create artificial scarcity

Just this Saturday for jordan 11, low space jam at 10 am, had my size 12.5, put my card 3 number in, and wait this at 10 am, and it sold out BS done with these bots once sneakers because a business and the can reselling them for a profit it hard to get them as someone who brought sneakers since the 80s this doesn't make no damn sense the good old day when you can walk in a sneakers store buy the sneakers you want even it came out week ago Nike you need to do better or true sneakers lovers would just stop buying them .

They should only release hype sneakers in store only where u gotta actually hunt and look for em its more fun and fair that way because i love collecting starwars stuff and getting into sneakers now i remember when i was hyped for the big money saver dunks and sold out In literally 30 seconds and everyone who got em charged double and i just had to wait 2-3 months and now they selling at retail or less

Let me tell you how you can do that. Move to another market. I took my talents to independent sneaker markers and haven’t looked back at Nike got hype shoes since.

I honestly don't understand why sneaker culture exists, maybe because I just buy custom vans and don't care about brand names but it just never made sense to me. Especially when there's no such thing as pants culture, sock culture, shirt culture and so on. Like I can kinda understand vintage shopping, but even then I don't understand it because the materials in the clothing will wear down and stop being usable after time
I think sneaker culture is just a small subsection of fashion but I think the athletes made a distinct mark in the game
