It’s just so hard to forgive and move on, when this continuous resentment comes from my daily life interactions with a certain person. It’s like I’m being hurt every day, but I cannot leave this situation due to circumstances. But I will definitely try praying for them and asking for God’s help in this situation!

Honestly, these steps changed my life! Someone sent me this link when I was at a really low point in my life and I was struggling with anger and I forgiveness towards someone. So, I put the steps on my wall… by the end of that year God freed me from all anger and bitterness towards that person. Thank you for helping me through this process!! 😊
Forgiveness also means to not keep on tolerating the wrong they did to you, but instead to let go of the situation that keeps you stuck in the rut & let God care for the enemy, so you can move on to others that seek what He has blessed you with, that specific gift that others coulden't see.
It's hard to forgive. I was a victim of bullying during my high school and college years. Whenever I think about what I've been through, I'm easily filled with anger. In my head, I'm killing my bullies. I'm torturing them in every way possible in my imagination. Lord, have mercy. Please forgive me.

Was actually searching for videos on "prayer for anger" as I am really distracted and depressed over the last days..I initially wanted to take revenge but watching this video help me realized that taking revenge on people who hurt you will not give you peace of mind either, instead just pray for them and for myself as well that sooner I will be feeling better with God's grace.

At 50 this May, I am just now trying to get a handle on this. Ironically, my therapist told me to pray. I laughed...at first. My mom and coworker told me the same.
I've been praying for weeks to have the strength and grace to forgive, but up til now I still harbor anger inside. I am tempted to sometmes message/reach the person and how much of an ahole this person is, and how this person wronged me and had a massive ego boost doing so. So i pray and pray every moment and every night for either reconciliation or forgiveness, but i struggle with the later. I've recited bible verses, made poems to god about it, etc.. but there are days when the hurt is still here and the anger of how unjust i was treated.
Sir ur teachings are very touching and you put it across in such a simple practical way. It remains in my heart and I do make a sincere effort to follow it. Even if you want to forgive. How do you do so for someone who continues to hurt you and now your children? Avoid them? Set boundaries? This person is an in-law. The resentment for them is harming my relationship with my spouse.

I find it very hard to forgive a person who does not repent. Even if it is good for me, it is really very hard to do. Some people behave badly but they don't regret their actions. If God does not forgive unless we repent, why should us simple creatures forgive without repentance?

I just got divorced from a woman that only married and a had a kid with me so that she can get money. It was all planned and I didn't see what she was doing until it was too late. She went to court and hurled a bunch of false accusations against me. She told the judge that I was a drunk that raped and beat her every night. When she made the false accusations in court, I felt a cold feeling enter my body. I just couldn't believe that she said those thing about me in court. She also quit her job and moved far away to prevent me from getting 50/50 custody. She ended up getting awarded a huge child support check every month. I'm angry because I feel like I was punished for something that she did. I'm finding it very hard to move past what happened. If anything anger has taken over my life. I woke up one night furious and vowed to get revenge on her somehow. I want to forgive and heal, but I just can't do it. Please pray for me, thanks.

But The Holy Spirit cannot force us to accept The Truth that will set us free, He can only guide us to it. Imagine forgiveness is like a soothing, bubbling, stream.... you might not be able to jump in fully right now, but why not take teeny tiny steps? Put your toe in! Don’t let her evil cause you to become evil yourself. The devil relies on this domino effect to meet evil circulating on this earth .. “someone wronged me, I will wrong them”..... disappoint evil forces and free yourself. As you pray for your wicked mother, your heart will begin to soften. It doesn’t mean you have to go cuddle up to her and make tea! It means you will be free internally, you will let go and feel light. Praying for you. By God’s Grace you can do it.
