Two researchers (V████ M██████████ (missing) and D█████ H██████ (deceased, 2000-12-05)) at the Anomalous Materials Laboratory at the Black Mesa Research Facility in New Mexico engage in a brief discourse in the midst of a fellow research associate (G█████ F██████ (missing)) while deciding whether or not to proceed with an experiment.
This video basically serves as an announcement for my upcoming project which will seek to document the 20 years of the Combine's occupation of Earth in a similar fashion in which I documented the aftermath of the Black Mesa incident. As I said at the end of the video, this project will be out sometime next month.

@@nomansblog2025 Pretty much the same as the last one. You'll see a world map, just with various regions of the world indicating the proportion of the remaining human population living in them. You'll also get to see where each city is located, and of course the events that dominate every 2 months of the occupation, which lasts roughly 19 years, 10 months and 10 days from the end of the Seven Hour War.

2:09 reminds me of those quiet moments in the STALKER series where you’ll be walking with seemingly nothing around and then hear a mutant scream in the distance. I imagine traveling through the countryside of post combine earth would be similar. HL has some moments like that but those pesky CP often crash the ambient horror party haha.

Love those videos and how enriching they are for the whole HL universe. I don't really find the events after OP4 all that interesting tbvh but this may be of great help to change that. Looking forward to it!

Joking aside I really look forward to this, I've always wanted to see more done with the 20 year period between hl1 and hl2, I'd say its definitely the creepiest part of the hl series and I think your the right person to tackle something like that.
