Pretty good. Can't beat the expressiveness of real players (especially in this performance), but it really gives you a decent idea of how it will sound
Best comparision and combination I've ever seen! I like how Ms3/4 Sounds + the live recordings crossfade from each other in different sections. Also, I just love Dvorak's New World Symphony as a whole!
I agree, this is the recording I prefer for this specific piece (especially because of @7:43) which also happens to be one of my favourite classical piece of all time. Sadly I didn't get to hear how musescore4 interprets my favourite part of the movement but man, I was listening while I'm doing something in parallel and some of the transition between the recording and soundfonts just passed by unnoticed.
I'm not terribly familiar with Mahler 5 other than movement 1; which parts specifically would you suggest taking a look at? I'll admit I only did the entirety of Dvorak 9 Mvt 4 because I know the piece well and enjoy it, so I most likely won't be doing entire movements in the future
@@_ve0 I think the first three and a half minutes or so capture the 4th movement quite well. It's awesome what you did with the Dvorak's 9th mvt 4, I understand that it must be a lot of work to make full movements :)
I'm personally not a fan of the MuseScore 4 strings, I feel like they are a bit technically inaccurate when trying to do noodly or fast passages, they are amazing for slow and lyrical though
It would be better if you played back a short piece of just a few measures firstly in a video of a real orchestra performance, than in MS3 and then in MS4.
Practically there is no so much difference between a real orchestra and the software, i don't know if you put the same dynamics written in the score , or maybe you adapt the dynamics to sound as much as real possible, sometimes the trumpets needs to be played a little bit loud. What i liked also is that you use 2 instruments in the same staff , exactly as the conductor score , very good job congratulations !
Thank you for the kind words. As for the dynamics, I make a separate score where I change the dynamics to match the real performance (to the best of my ability). The playback with the original dynamics isn't very balanced, so I have to modify it myself

Great to see they are aiming at the incredibly high standards of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony.
Amazing choice of recording to compare against- estrada is one of the best
This recording has to be my favorite of all-- beyond even Dudamel
I'm glad you enjoy it as well

Is it possible to do one of the excerpt from Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet overture?
The Allegro (first movement) of Beethoven Fourth Symphony, please.
There's a good chance I'll get to this in the future :)
Mahler symphony 5 mvt. IV :)

@@_ve0 Mahler 5 mvt.3 would also be very interesting

Really impressive! Is it possible to humanize like in MIDI? it would help realism! The strings are especially lacking imperfections :P
You should turn on Musesounds. It's a major improvement... if you haven't already!
All of the MuseScore 4 sections use muse sounds
Must be nice to have a full score file for this epic piece!
