@@FountainPenNews Aw thanks! That's so nice! Well- just give me a vintage flex pen and I will throw my money at you. I'm tired googling (and not trusting seller)😉 And I hope the vintage ones are a bit "softer/easier to flex" than the Pilot FA (size 10). And congrats on the shoutout from FPT-recap💕
@@MrsAlchemist I'll keep my eyes peeled for you. Are you familiar with Nikola Pang? He's a gifted calligrapher and a vintage flex expert. Pretty soon, I'll be doing a Flexploration with my vintage flex nibs including the one I just got from him. I wish we lived close, I'd sit you down and make you try all of my flex nibs. My very favorite is Stylosuite X-wing Harpoon EF by Les Sheely. It's totally practical for every day writing but flexes easily and even writes in reverse perfectly.
@@FountainPenNews aw, that’s so heartwarming of you! 💕I would love to have the opportunity to try a few vintage pens and your opinion on them ! I would adapt to a flex pen (I would not write for hours) but I don’t want to buy it online by only having a pic of it (I don’t trust).

Just got my Pilot 912 FA a few days ago. I can’t make it railroad with the ink cartridge that comes with the pen. Not sure if Pilot made changes to the feed recently!?

Super interesting. I’m going to have to check the snap back on my one vintage flex nib

Wendi, ty! Hey which JOWO housing did you get for it?

@@allenjeng3506 or you're just lucky. 😁 Keep me posted about how it performs long term!
I have the 15 FA, how big of a difference is the ebonite vs the stock plastic?
@@mixeddrinks8100it depends how much you flex and what inks you like to use. Give it a shot with the stock feed. If it meets your needs, fantastic!
