I have a new Paste in my Description for this Guide showing my Lines in the config file.
Yeah you can share the gold but you can't see the amount of shared gold in the stash right? I know I can't.

This will get rid of the orphan page buttons in the middle of stash and shared gold will show correctly on bottom when hovering over gold.

WARNING!!! Before you run the PLUGY for the 1st time, either fast forward the video and look for the stash fix, or log into your SP characters and remove all the items in bottom 4 -6 rows from your stash. If you don't, when you run plugY without the stash fix, the items in there will be lost !!!!

If it weren't for this video I wouldn't have even played PD2. I tried to install it when it came out but It wouldn't install. I gave up and stuck with regular d2se plugy and when I saw this video it made me sit down and fix whatever issue was going on with it. Thanks for making the video. Helped a lot.
I needed to add:
PosXStashNameField=-120
PosYStashNameField=16
PosXStashGoldField=-120
PosYStashGoldField=36
Otherwise the button to change the name of the current stash / withdraw gold was invisible and over the top of some items in the stash. I don't know if the numbers are correct for everyone, but adding the lines seemed to fix it.
Sounds like it's a known bug that the personal stash next button is saving the previously opened number instead of going up or down from where you currently are.

Make sure you either use a custom save location for your plugy or blackup and remove old shared stash files

Confirmed, still works in the crafting league, if you do not see plugy remember to also restart the launcher to get plugy showing.

plugy stash + pd2 fixed, but the only I have issue is, when you open your stash, the page 1 to 9 doesn't appear, although I click the next/previous button.
How do I fix that?

Look at other comments for registry edits related to this error.
In my case I had an existing Plugy shared stash file with items that were incompatible. Manually change your other shared stash file (For example rename it to _LOD_SharedStashSave_2020-12-24.sss) and plugy will generate a new stash file (_LOD_SharedStashSave.sss). You must manually switch between files depending on which mod you are playing
I just want to thank you for this comment. I was having the damndest time figuring out why my Project D2 shared stash wasnt working despite not having this error code. This fixed my issue. I love you.
I tried renaming my LOD shared stash file and it still didn't work. Any ideas?
Where do I find the lod shared stash file? Should I be looking in the d2 folder or pd2?
@@paravirt8870 It’s a file named something like “LODSharedStash.sss” in the Diablo 2 folder. Just rename it to something like “PD2SharedStash.sss” and it should work. PD2 makes its own shared stash folder once you start the game.

Yes, Plugy has its own executable to launch the game.
this version today says 1.14 and if i install it...i make a char i start it... then it says ''generic bad file'' what am i supposed to do now?
I've gotten this before and to solution strangely enough is to open plugy.ini and change the save location line from 0 to 1 - maybe will work maybe not but try it! (and let me know if this works cus idk if its a 1 off thing)

tried with 11.02 and the newest plugy version, ufortunately doesn't work
can't load saves after i put things in shared, and the page numbers get all fucked up when clicking arrows
if you only put 1 thing in the shared stash, sometimes it just dissapears and may appear after you reload
lots of glitches overall, too bad the built-in shared stash is MP only

I have a question about "Players to" in PD2+Plugy. Works like PD2 multi? No drops is "players to 5"?
Everything works with one exception which are breakpoints under the extra statistics (number 8 key), do you guys have the same experience? As PlugY extra statistics windows has breakpoints info too, it is not necessary to use PD2 extra stats key, but stil..... Thank

Funny. When I updated to the next season, I got a "Unhandled Exception" whenever I play on full screen but never on windowed.
Before I updated, I could run the game on full screen just fine. So what happened? Some of the PlugY files got altered?

My PlugY.exe file disappeared from the PD2 folder, and now when I go to add it back I get blocked, need permission?? I am administrator on this computer so I am not sure why I'm being blocked.. Please assist?
If I mouse over colum 4 row 3 it shows my gold, even if nothing is in the spot. One row down mousing over it shows a box listing the stash tab commands. If I try to put items in these spots it messes the whole thing up. How can I get rid of these mouse over spots in my stash?

This is exclusively a Single Player mod
So I'm playing season 2 and want to convert to single player soon (especially after today's DDOS attack to the servers). How do I go about converting my online season 2 characters to single player?

This helped get PlugY running for me but now running PD2 with PlugY breaks the advanced character stats from PD2. Opening the advanced character stats panel shows a long string of zeroes where the FHR and FCR breakpoints should be, and causes the game to crash if left open more than a few seconds.

@@chielzzmew XP compatibility mode worked, thanks. I tried Win 7 compatibility but not XP.
EDIT: On further testing it works with Win 7 compatibility and -3dfx, I might have done something wrong when I was first trying this out.
Hello I have a problem.
When I switch to Personal Stash. The pages skip out of nowhere. It would go 10 pages on next while going back will instantly just go to page 1 (without holding shift).
Shared Stash however, pages going next and back are working as correctly as ever.
For Gold, I tested for both Personal/Shared Stash. The gold is not showing properly. I can deposit and withdraw all of my Gold, but it's not showing at the bottom anything other than 0 (I put ActiveSharedGold=1)
Any help on this?

when running plugy the resolution is still the 1068-600 like pd2 gives you but compressed into the centre of the screen with black bars around the sides. any ideas?
Not sure if you could help, but when I go to launch PlugY.exe as Administrator in PD2 for the last step I keep getting an Unhandled Exception/Access_Violation (c0000005) and not sure where to go from here
Not sure but reinstalling both PD2 and PlugY fixes a lot of issues for people

What if i have the game i stalled from my discs? Also they have a 1.14 mod that i guess works are the steps more or less the same or do i need to uninstall my game? Do you know if there is a guide for what im asking anywhere? Sorry for all tge noob questions just been dying to play some d2 on solo but vanilla is just not doing it for me i remember doing something similar as a kid but its been a long time sense i have owned an actual pc and messed around with modding games so any help is appreciated

edit your target line for plugy to match 3dfx. Thing is I'm having issues installing lol. Plugy isn't showing up at the bottom right when I open the app. I cant edit my target line, doesn't show the file info. just the name

Sorry if these are redundant questions... new to all of this.
So for the first issue you might have to copy the file elsewhere then edit it then the paste it back.
Then the next question you’ll have to make a shortcut to your desktop for the Plugy game then go to properties on that shortcut and add -w on the target line

Hey man, i'm new to diablo 2 multiplayer, so i have few questions, please help ! All i want is to play the game alone in singleplayer but to be part of the ladder, so i want to grind/farm alone stuff and be able to change to /players 8 when i like and i want to use Plugy for infinite stash and respecs, don't need anything else, BUT....i want to be able to trade my stuff that i find with people online? So farm singleplayer, hop on bnet, trade some stuff, get back and play alone, is it possibile to do? Is it not against TOS etc? Cause in theory i'm "cheating" with infinite stash and respecs while other people can't do it ( atleast people that i see on stream playing ladder )... i'm very confused here, i don't like playing with others games like diablo, it's a chill game for me, so complete SSF with PLUGY and trading ONLY as part of Multiplayer, is it possibile? Thank you very much! Anyone can reply if you are able to give me proper info!
Not possible at all unfortunately. Single player characters are stored on your computer while multiplayer characters are stored on the server and cannot interact with each other in any way.
@@DubReno Ping would be annoying esp cause i really enjoy only singleplayer, but i would like to have some trading so everything valuable i get that is not for my character atleast does not go to waste u know and i could progress a bit faster etc... ^^ but very unfortunate its not possibile...im not interested in multiplayer other than ONLY legit trading...but yeah unlucky

Single Player Characters are different from Ladder Characters so that would be why.

Hey BT it worked but when i enter plugy the resolution doesn't fit at all neither of the in-game resolutions are wokring its all zoomed in
strange, make sure you set the resolution to 1068 x 600 in the video settings. Other than that i dont know.
So my item filter won’t work and it keeps crashing the game when I open it now. Help.

theres no Plugy .exe file when i open the zip so the game wont lauch. every guild i see it comes up for them but not for me, idk what do to do

@@whoopdawg9907 I got mine to work. The files are there they just aren't displaying correctly. I would just go ahead and copy/paste all the files into the correct folder and you should be good to go.
When I installed PlugY for my PD2 v1.13 it seems to have erased my stackable runes that were in my stash. Any hope of getting them back? Tried to look for a code to toggle related to stackable but couldn't find anything. Any help appreciated.
Not sure to be honest but if it’s single player you can dupe them in or use a different save file to get them back
@@BTNeanderthal thanks for the reply. I didn’t figure it out but they were all low level runes so I just moved on and collected some new ones with some countess runs. On the go forward the stackable runes are all good now and I have taken to backing up the save directory nightly.

hmm, it semi worked. I launched it, created my first SP char ever, and when i want to start a game i get this error:

everything seems to work except scrolling personal stash pages, they jump to page 11 with 1 click, and the back arrow goes forward, shift clicking back arrow resets back to 1, pushing forward arrow again goes instantly back to whatever page i was on before shift clicking to go back to page 1.
probably crappy explanation but basically, it works but personal pages are still wonky
The personal page does not work for PD2 Plugy and more but the shared stash does
I get an error "plugy isn't compatible with this version: 1.14b"
Probably need to upgrade your game to 1.14d

I did everything you said. The game menu opens properly, but when I make a new character and try to play the game crashes. There is "generic bad file" or access violation. pls help I wanna play offline, need bigger stash
I havent played much SP in PD2 yet, but Enpherno on Twitch has and he may be able to help you with that my friend.

Is there any way to increase single player drop rates with mods in project d2? I have a week to play but after that I'm pretty much done. I just want high drop rates for runes and uniques so I can coast through the game and have fun.
Use the /players x command up to 8
@@BTNeanderthal players8 just increases the difficulty even further, it provides no benefits to your exp and item gain, use players7 as you will get the most out of it.
Great guide BT. Quick question for anyone that can answer... I try to edit the Plugy.ini notepad to fix the stash, but when I try to save it gives me an error stating something like "you do not have permission to edit, seek admin approval"... Any ideas?
run notepad as admin and open that file

Well, UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005) is indestructible. too how many times i reinstall and uninstall it, the errors still shows up. even this is my first download of PlugY
When people have this issue, it usually gets fixed when you reinstall both PD2 and plugy
Not working for me. I get a blackscreen when I run plugy.exe in admin mode
Reinstall PD2 and plugy then try again would be my recommendation

My plugy personal stash pages are randomly skipping to random numbers in season 2.

This is a single player mod
Single player only. It impossible for them to do it online. We all wish there was a way for it to be online

Try installing glide to remove the low fps problem, I got that problem too, there is a tutorial in RUclips,just search it on how to install glide in PD2 singleplayer.
mine goes to character screen fine.. but all my characters tell me they have a generic bad file and wont go into the game
Did you make new characters or are you using old characters?
I tried the pd2 char I had and it gave bad file error. Made a new character and it gave a different error.
I have two problems with PlugY. It installed and works in its unchanged form for offline games. The first problem is that it does not work for Battle.net multiplayer PD2 games. The other problem is that Widows 10 tells me that I do not have permission to open the PlugY settings file when I try to save the change to make the stash size right. I can actually open the settings file and change it but can't get permission to save it. Any known solutions to these problems or can anyone point me to a site that gives solutions? I tried changing permissions for my PD2 folder but that has not worked so far.
Copy the file else where, edit it there and replace the file with the newly edited one.
@@BTNeanderthal I got permission to edit and save the settings file. When I am at the screen where you choose between a battle.net game and single player game, the button to start a battle.net game does not work. I guess PlugY does not work for Battle.net games?

When I run Pd2 through plugy it lags a lot (even in windowed mode). Anyone had this experience and any suggestions how to solve this?
if you have a lot of stuff going on on the screen then you can turn sound off and it should fix some of that lag. Other than that i typically dont have issues.
