Fantastic place, great clicks so peaceful n tranquil. Your videos are very educative n inspiring. From capturing the depth of BnW n their tonal nuances to the vibrant colours of Central Park. JC u r an artist par excellence. Will love to meet you some day. Regards n best
Funny that you just posted this. Went shooting there this morning. Tried to go last Sunday but marathon kept us from getting into park. Always seems to be a storm that beats me there. Keep up the great work on your videos. I’m going to run into in the field one of these days. I just know it. Lol
It is most probably my outdated stereotype of NY but if you had invited me to go take pictures in Central Park before sunrise, I would have asked you if you had got police escort! Haven't been there in about twenty years so I hope security and safety has improved immensely since that time. You got some pretty good images, especially that bridge. Cheers!
Enjoyed this Jay, was nice to see Central Park in the fall as the last time I was there it was in the spring. Fingers crossed I will hopefully be back in NYC next September for six or seven days. Might possibly be just too early for fall but just being back will be good enough for me
I came across your channel a few days ago. I've now watched quite a few of your videos and find them inspiring. Your post-processing in Photoshop is especially helpful to me. I love architecture and I love New York. I'm now subscribed. Thanks for your creativity and thank you for sharing your work.
Thanks Joe! Getting there before sunrise definitely limits the crowds. I did not do a pano because you were not there to slap me upside the head and remind me to do it! Great tip
Awesome shots and video as always Jay, just have one question….do you ever have trouble with setting up a tripod in public areas? I’ve heard the tripod Police are pretty active in NYC!
Great helpful video! Question were you shooting east to west in the mall or the other way around? Headed there in October and just like you planning to be there before sunrise and trying to figure out where to set up. Thanks.
Hey, man, Love your video. I often wanted to get into the city and take photos put music to it and post it on youtube. I have the song picked out already, LOL. just curious do you give lessons on photography? I'm on Facebook, if you want my name let me know. Have a good day, month, year and have good shots, LOL
Beautiful shots Jay!! Love the bridge and buildings reflections👍🏻
Thanks Barry!!
Great save on the fountain Jay 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks Tom!

I was going to go last week but did not due to the Marathon. Glad I waited a week. I'm sure out paths will cross.
Great video thanks for sharing
Thanks so much!!
Nice shots Jay. For the most part, this has been a pretty good fall for photographs. Thanks for sharing!!

There was a time when I never would have entered the park while it was dark. I am still a bit nervous, but generally feel pretty safe.

A little early for fall colors but it is beautiful in any season. Thanks Jim!

Thank you so much for the kind words Christine! Do you post your work on social media? Instagram?
Great shots of the park Jay, it's still as beautiful there as I remember it.
Thanks Rich! It is a great public space.
Great video and stunning shots Jay. I've only been in the city at night lately. Hoping to get down early this week before all the colors are gone.
Hopefully the wind we are getting does not blow all the leaves off the trees. Hope you get some shots off!
Good work. Surprised how few people were about. Curious why you did not do pano shots to achieve the wider view.
Thanks Joe! Getting there before sunrise definitely limits the crowds. I did not do a pano because you were not there to slap me upside the head and remind me to do it! Great tip
Surprised I didn’t run into you there, I went there 3 mornings this week to go shoot.
Colors were good this week! Glad I waited a bit
@@JCImagesBehindtheShot yeah, it’s perfect right now. Wish I could have gotten some rain shots in the park yesterday but I was out of town.
Good content and shots.
Thanks Richie!!
@@JCImagesBehindtheShot Welcome
Great video, I am local we should meet up for a shoot. I am a Nikon Shooter also.
Thanks Todd. I would love to meet up. Where do you live?
Awesome shots and video as always Jay, just have one question….do you ever have trouble with setting up a tripod in public areas? I’ve heard the tripod Police are pretty active in NYC!
Yes Steve, I have had that problem. Usually around buildings. Luckily in Central Park, no one gives me a problem.
Nice shots. I liked the bridge at 8:30 best. What tripod are you using? Thanks!
Thanks Dave. Currently I am using a MeFoto travel tripod. I need to invest in a more sturdy one though.
Great helpful video! Question were you shooting east to west in the mall or the other way around? Headed there in October and just like you planning to be there before sunrise and trying to figure out where to set up. Thanks.
I was most shooting to the south. The mall runs north-south.
Nice fall shots ! I would be interested in a video where you would explain how you blend exposures in Photoshop. Keep up the great work 👍
Thanks Jerome. Good idea for a video!
