    It's not safe, it's a piece of art! I love my ISM, bought it from a jewelry store closing down, best purchase ever! Looks so good just sitting there too! :D Owning a safe like this is a privilege! Quality, reliability, dependability, and security... very well-done.

    I had the largest ISM cash vault at my house in Paradise, ca. The best safe I've ever owned. Contents made it through one of the worst fires in california history unscathed. the safe was sitting on my concrete pad by itslf. Looked like a bomb had gone off, the ISM was sitting there all by itself. took me over 2 hours to cut a hole in the bottom with a demo hammer and a concrete saw. hole was just big enough to get my cell phone in to take a picture of the contents so I could see what was left. the inside was practically untouched. Wold not hesitate to buy another one.

      You had the large one that is about 6000 lbs? Why did you have to cut a hole into your own safe? Did you lose the key/combination? I’m surprised thieves didn’t make off with it hauling a forklift into the area and lifting it into a truck. How did you have that delivered to your house because I’m interested in buying the big one for my house. Did you have it in your garage?

    I know this is late to the party, but this is a fantastic review and insight into a top shelf safe. These videos are hard to find since most are older or dont cover specific safes in detail. Certainly geared to the more dedicated numismatic and bullion collectors and dealers. Makes the TL15 jewelry safe we are accustomed to look like childs play.

    They are great safes. We could have bought a used one for $2,000 and it was a large in one. The weight was substantial.
    Another great review. God bless.

    ahhh just some strong arm bits and a nice rig will get you thru the side relatively quickly. then you go to town on those locks. punch in the keylock from the right and for the combo you have your choice if you want to go thru the top and then boroscope or from the left like a beast and sheer the bolt down. I miss those days and 47th Street!

    Have you ever delivered the very large ISM jewelry safes that stand over 6’ tall to residential customers? How do you get it into the house? Or are you limited on hauling it into the garage?

    • @parkerssafes
      @parkerssafes  Год назад

      Yes, just this week as a matter of fact. If it'll fit through the doorways with room to spare on height, we can generally do it. Anchoring in the garage would be much cheaper though.😉

    • @BW-kv9wj
      @BW-kv9wj Год назад +1

      @@parkerssafes would I even need to anchor it down into the garage concrete slab? I think that thing ways about 7000lbs for the top of the line one, if I’m not mistaken??? No one could move that thing without a forklift and special tools to upright it so a forklift can get it’s feet under it. Correct??? My motion cameras and alarms would scare them off before that could ever happen anyway. I’d have the cops immediately there calling from 200 miles away

  • @ShowemRight
    @ShowemRight Год назад +1

    Wow, 2,000 pounds is a beast, but one thing I look at is having a hardened plate steel safes from 1/2" thick to 1.5 thick safes need to have where the active and inactive bolts protrude from needs to be at least 1/2 inch solid steel housing. I see these big safes, even TL rated ones with bolts protruding out of sheet metal , an 1/8 of an inch metal housing. Think about that, why have a 1/2 inch and above plate steel safe where the bolt work is inside a thin piece of steel, because when a safe is built like that, that will be the weakest part of the safe.

    Question… I just bought the second largest ISM Super Treasury from a dealer who could deliver it to me in Texas. I’m really looking forward to getting it. However, I noticed when you showed the locking system inside the door it looked like there was some substantial rust on some of the yellow zinc plated metal boltwork. Had you noticed this or am I just seeing things here? I would hate to pay that much for a safe and find rust anywhere. Thanks for posting!

    • @parkerssafes
      @parkerssafes  3 года назад

      There was one place about the size of a nickel where there was some surface rust. It wouldn't cause any concern in my eyes and seems to be just where the plating and a weld met. It's certainly better than the interior of most safes that we see.
