Hi, I'm new subscriber to your very informative channel.
I am from the UK and I was trained and have time served of building Truck bodies.
I agree that all your electric cables wires, should be routed on the truck body you have just finished.
The order I would do and is only my suggestion.
    (1) Run ALL electric caples and Hydraulic pipes required. (Do not install the light lenses, because of possible breakages.)
    (2) Pre drill and install Mud Flaps on the New Truck body.
    (3) Drill and bolt mounting brackets to chassis first then weld or bolt the new body to your chassis (The floor is fitted first you will struggle to attach the Truck body to Chassis)
    (4) Mount the body to the Chassis by fork lift truck or crane and leave the mounting Brackets lose for easy attachment....
    (5) Place the New truck body to the desired location on the chassis of your truck.
    (6) With an Air Spanner, Tightened the bolts holding the Mounting Brackets up on the Chassis and bolt/Weld to the Chassis runner of the truck body for securing....
    (7) Fitted Mud Flaps to the body.
    (8) Then Finish ALL Electrically and Hydraulic attachments (To check all okay)
    (9) Fitt the Wood Flooring to the bearers by securing with self tapping Screws...
I hope this will help and keep up with the very informative video's and chit chat...
    With Regards.
    Baz

Looks great. Planning on a second coat?

Thanks! I've found with this paint if I lay it on thick enough, I can get away with just one coat. Two coats would obviously be ideal but for this application I think I can get away with one. I did do a second coat on the headache rack though.

I hope you are using a primer first not just painting.

Good question. So when I first used this paint I talked to the paint supplier about if I needed a primer before using this stuff and they said no, with this paint on bare steel you do not need a primer. I'm no painter so I'm just following how they told me to apply it.

The no primer route will come back to haunt you sooner or later. Trust me I speak from personal experience.

Sounds like the paint we use at work to paint our trailers with ...its tacky up to 24 hrs then it dries hard as a rock ....our dump and utility trailers have a hard compound mixed into it that makes the paint last longer and resist scratches and rust
