Hey Captain thanks for all these videos you've been making. I enjoy flying the simulator as close to real as I can, and a big part of that is trying to emulate real world procedures, and not just red lining it to the FAF. Also did you know, the Zibo 737 mod better let's you download the latest METAR for any airport ICAO code - use the FMC and goto menu, AOC, and somewhere within there is something like messaging requests or weather requests, I can't recall it exactly without looking, but I use it all the time with the Zibo. Big thanks again, subbed
No need to set the QNH at all when descending from a Flight Level until you get to the transition level. On initial descent there is NO need to select Flight Level Change and not have VNAV path descent selected altitudes protection/restrictions by the autopilot. Just select a lower altitude on the MCP and push to select a descent speed in the speed window higher than the VNAV path speed. You will regain the path ...and can adjust the rate of closure by varing your speed intervention. Absolutely no need to deploy the speed brakes with all that unecessary vibration and annoyance to your passengers. ......just a waste of energy. ...just speed up your descent whilst you can.
Captain.. when does VNAV pitch mode enter VNAV speed and VNAV path during descent??…..what are the criteria for either modes to engage? Thank you captain
Hey, thanks for watching!! The Vnav stays in Vnav path unless you push the spd int button on the MCP... The Vnav path change the logic during the Approach. I hope I answered your question
Want happens if we only reset MCP ALT and press ALT INVT instead of LVL CHNG? I’m this case, What is the difference between actual descent profile and LVL CHNG ?
hy captain! how do we calculate rate of descent ... an aircraft at FL330 is required to commence descent when 65nm from a vor and to cross the vor at FL100.the mean GS during descent is 330kt?
Hi! Construct a new waypoint VOR-65m at FL 330 Enter the FL 100 restriction at the VOR. You are not going to get such a descent speed request from such a flight level !!?? You are still in the mach speed regime! ! You are required to lose 23000ft in 65 miles....!! Normally it takes.. 23x3=69 nm. You may well have to speed intervene! !
Just a quick question regarding the VOR radials, as shown in this video you're on the R036 from the IBA VOR, the QDM is 216-217 (I can't see it very good, I should watch the Course selectors) you are on the first quadrant and flying TO the VOR (the distance that I'm now reading on the MFD is 83.5 nm) Am i correct? Thanks again for the great video explanation, I'll have to try it out myself.

Thanks for sharing your way of flying! Can I ask which airline you fly for?
Thanks for watching!

@@PILOTCLIMB yes captain….thank you☺️😊

In order to make ALT INTV works you need VNAV, this mode is similar to LVL CHG but it will respect the altitudes constraints of the FMC.
A lot of thanks!@@PILOTCLIMB

Hey man, kindly asking if you could make a video regarding vor holds and adf holds. Please I would really appreciate it🙏 @PILOTCLIMB
Hey, many thanks por watching!! Did you check the video I made regarding holdings??
@@PILOTCLIMB Not yet but I will check it out now. Many thanks🙌🏻
