    How did you mount it to the laserpole? I can't seem to find any info on this. Have seen others make their own brackets to be able to mount it to the laserpole but you seem to have a special clamp for it.....

    If you're willing to spend some buy a manual high precision rotation stage (60mm-100mm) for the best fine tune rotation control. For left,right, forward, back you can hook the rotation stage to an XY aluminum extrusion channel by hooking the rotation ssd's stage to a gantry plate.

    in your "links below", for your laser level pole system you link to a Johnson product, but in the video you crank the pole up.... what tripod are you using that has the hand crank up/down? thanks

    I just use a piece of metal or even a tile trowel, tape it to the wall and the laser magnet will stick to the metal. It will also stick to the outside metal corner beads in the wall. Cheap/ easy and the line won't move on you like a tripod does. Even walking on the floor can make a tripod/pole shake.

    This unit does NOT work well with Milwaukee’s 3 green-line laser level. That laser is just too big for it. I have the big Milwaukee 3 line laser and I figured out a way to mount it but the functionality of the is greatly reduced. Milwaukee’s laser already has a swivel base which is the issue. The swivel base increases the size of the laser beyond what this device can handle.

    • @LandbergTileTV

      I added that pole link to the video description. That pole has male threads that a laser level or this adapter can attach to. You won't need anything else.

      I use a camera tripod from a garage sale, it has the compatible threaded connection. Has a nice vertical adjustment for photographers but moving the laser line left and right is a nightmare. Might have to order this new product, looks pretty sweet.

    How do you attach to vertical pole. Is there another attachment required?

    • @morokeiboethia6749
      @morokeiboethia6749 2 года назад +1

      there is female threaded hole on the bottom of the Huepar adapter. You'll have a pole running vertically, then a clamp on metal piece that clamps to the pole (should come with the pole) and a male threaded bolt. The Huepar adapter will thread onto the male threaded bolt (sitting upright as if you sit it on the floor).

    If your laser level is a bigger heavier one you can expect all of the knobs will be slipping and dont turn the laser level consistently. Still easier to line up than not havine one but they did a really shitty job on the quality of the movement knobs because all of the them slip (aka backlash)

    • @christophercrawford2736
      @christophercrawford2736 2 года назад

      Good to know! I have the Dewalt 360 green line laser and it’s definitely heavy.

    • @morokeiboethia6749
      @morokeiboethia6749 2 года назад +1

      @@christophercrawford2736 I found these things called "manual high precision rotation stages." They're used in optic jobs mostly but they are these round tables with a knob that has very fine spin control. You attach the laser level to them by a screw so make sure you get one that has the correct screw hole size for your level. You can buy adapter plates to get around that but thats an extra thing to buy. I bought a cheap one for $60 and I can line up on targets up to about 40-50 ft now. The Huepar fine tune spin control is only good for about 20 -ish feet because it has far lower quality gears inside. If you need left/right and forward/back a few of the companies that make the rotation stages make "slides" that attack to the bottom of the rotation stage. You'll need to buy 2 of them to give you the X- slide and another one to give you Y-slide. If you choose to buy one dont buy under a 60mm diameter rotation stage. 100mm is probably ideal but its doable with a 60mm which is what i have.
