Idk if you have tried but I have a Bluetooth adapter on my gt 90 and it made it way louder than the aux port . CDs are the loudest but the bass makes them skip lol

Did you have it hooked up to a phone before? If you try something bigger like a tv or ipad, it becomes alot louder. The source matters alot for the loudness
