*Most Michigan man that had nothing to do with the state. I'll miss hearing from him weekly during the best time of the year. Rest easy Coach. Prayers for family.*
“Did he trade for a rifle?”… Man I’m gonna miss this man. Bums me out knowing he’s not out there wondering around freely thinking and interacting with others as truly of an authentic person that you could hope to meet. I’m infinitely jealous of everyone who had the good fortune of meeting and interacting with him. Damn. Go out there and be yourself people, even if it’s a bit weird. Who knows, you might even end up enjoying yourself
He was always like this. Reporters would ask him a question and he would change the conversation and talk about what he wanted to. Best was bigfoot talks
I've been watching these videos all day. I could care less about TT / WSU / MSU games. I always rooted for his teams but his press conferences/ half time interviews were the best.
He gave a legendary press conference just a few weeks ago, when his recievers dropped a lot of passes in one game. Look up 'dinosaur hands', or something along those lines. His 'fat girlfriends' talk, was also another good one where he criticizes his players, but does it in such a clever and artful way.
He could’ve been a struggling standup comedian but his coaching abilities were far greater. Absolutely the funniest coach of any sport. Truly one of a kind. RIP
Talk about complete, unfiltered stream-of-consciousness. And always curious about other people. He could--and did--talk to just about anyone about anything, any time. One of a kind and never a dull moment. Going to miss that man.
Ole Miss Rebel fan all my life. Loved "hating" State. It's in our blood - and they feel the same way about Rebel fans! But when Leach got to Starkville I just couldn't "hate" them anymore. Heck I couldn't even root against them. My biggest rival now had my favorite coach. It was almost a spiritual crisis! Man I'm gonna miss him. I was so looking forward to many more years of his awesome interviews and pressers. One of the only coaches that made college football MORE fun.
Absolute deadpan delivery. The top skill he imparted to his players was the ability to execute a game plan while thinking about the funny one liners he must have been come up with while he was teaching them.
With all due respect he wasn't weird. Just because someone is unconventional does not make them weird. If no one thought outside the box just think how boring life would be.
@Chris Coccagna I'm sorry but he's famous for saying absolutely bizarre stuff and going off the rails in press conferences. He also is famous for going on strange stories about history to rile up his team even though they were mostly just confused. His eccentricity is why he never got a blue blood job
I am not familiar with Mike as WSU doesnt get any coverage here on the Right Coast. This guy was hysterical. Should have his own talk show. Sure better than the crapola on Late night TV now.
One of a kind. The sports world needs more personalities like Mike. Rest in Peace coach.
How could a player not want to play for him. Pure authenticity.
*Most Michigan man that had nothing to do with the state. I'll miss hearing from him weekly during the best time of the year. Rest easy Coach. Prayers for family.*
“credit to cats - the ability to generate that much animosity.” He was just so entertaining to watch!
He had to be a lot of fun to be around.
RIP Coach.
Our deepest condolences to your family and friends.

Damn why do I only find out about the coolest people after they’ve past. I could go on watching these vids forever.

If you didn't know who Mike Leach was, then you must not have been a football fan. Any football fan would know who he is.

Heros get remembered but legends never die and Mike Leach is legend so he will never pass.
Ironic considering passing is what his offense is known for
In a couple of years he could have gone into broadcasting and be the next John Madden. What a loss, what a genuine soul.
He could’ve been a struggling standup comedian but his coaching abilities were far greater. Absolutely the funniest coach of any sport. Truly one of a kind. RIP
The question he was asked was “Coach how you doing”
RIP to a truly one of a kind human

This man is a WSU Legend 🐾
Rip coach god needed a coach
Legend.
Gonna miss you coach! Congrats on going out a winner!
That was outstanding. RIP Coach
never get tired of coach leech videos , he was my favorite! Was never afraid to be himself!
That is why Coach Leach was my fav coach. Real and not scared to speak his mind. RIP Coach, i'll miss you.
Great editing! Thank you for taking the time to put it together.
Dam, endless content from this legend 😂😂😂😢
He will never know how much he was loved by every fan of college football! Rest Easy Coach!
Mike was amazing! One of the smartest guys I ever knew! He didn't always sound like it, but he was scary smart. Great friend!
Sorry for your loss. Glad his friends and family shared him with the world.
He sounds like the type of guy who is really smart, but doesn't go around making others feel dumb.
SO SAD. Rest 💖 in PEACE Mike. Condolences from ST Thomas ❤️ Ontario Canada!!
This man is talking Jesus head off right now lol. What a great life.

John Madden-like...loved him. Rip
Rip coach. Many coaches come and go but you got here and stayed brother, and you made football better.
Funny part is he mentioned something to cover the mouth to stop the lip readers with no idea that covid would put everyone in masks a few years later.
Leach's comment about his WSC players poor play..."their fat little girl friends"...will always be a top 5 coach slam
cant believe he is gone...just few years ago had the world by the tail,,,,you just never know....may his loved ones find peace
I will miss this guy so real.
Coach Leach was truly a national treasure.
Wish Mike would finish his career at WSU as one of the winningest coaches.
I’m going to miss this man.
Its a shame he didn't do stand up he was a comedy genius! As a husky fan I send my most sincerest condolences to coug nation and his family
One of a kind
He’s the one coach you loved to watch the game he was coaching and then you had to catch the press conference also. RIP Coach
RIP coach I remember him more from Texas Tech, then I started watching him at Mississippi State against Ole Miss, I like to watch Lane kiffen lose🙂
Absolute deadpan delivery. The top skill he imparted to his players was the ability to execute a game plan while thinking about the funny one liners he must have been come up with while he was teaching them.
I think Mike Leach is "forever a Cougar" because he attended BYU
He had that Norm Macdonald style of humor. RIP
"A buffalo is utterly outstanding" you will be missed Mike. Godspeed
The only question necessary at his press conferences was “hi coach so what do you ya think?”
Rest easy coach 💐
RIP coach ❤
He was weird but I still love him
It's why we love him
With all due respect he wasn't weird. Just because someone is unconventional does not make them weird. If no one thought outside the box just think how boring life would be.

@@YOSSARIAN313 this is the baitiest bait I ever saw in my life.
He's famous for the innovation he brought to football you damn goober.
@@chriscoccagna5917 He was definitely weird and thank god for it. Your problem is thinking weird is an insult.
RIP LEGEND
“Pretty attractive for a zombie, pretty ugly for a zombie” lmao this man was gold 😂😂. RIP
Coach saved Pullman from the bone yard.
My cousin was a red shirt FR in 2013 but transferred back to Louisiana to play for Southeastern. Wish I could have seen him play for WSU and CML.
🙏
RIP coach
Turns out he was ahead of his time on the masks.
He had alot of John Madden in his commentary
He was proof that being weird isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Weird is an opinion and most of the people that think you’re weird don’t have much of an intellectual side.
I am not familiar with Mike as WSU doesnt get any coverage here on the Right Coast.
This guy was hysterical.
Should have his own talk show.
Sure better than the crapola on Late night TV now.
God takes this guy from us but leaves the decrepit corrupt skeleton in Washington. What a sick sense of humor God has
Rip
“America is a huge bastion of lip readers” 😂
A lot of this going around. Heart attacks. Could it be the Fowchii owchee?
Such a great personality, one of a kind! And a Trump Conservative I might add.
Safe and effective
Much too soon
As an Alabama fan, I really liked Mike Leach!
Such a loss to college football.
