Who the best is depends on which tech level you are playing on and also which mod you are using. In this mod it's very similar to the original game. Where I would say low tech Federation and even Ferengi are probably the best but on higher tech levels I would rank Klingons and Cardassians as the best. It comes down to the ships and how they perform in battle. Klingon ships are devastating and easy to use just charge your enemy! Cardassians have the strongest hull so they can usually ram their enemies! I feel like with the right start any faction can win but generally there are some factions that perform better at certain tech levels.
@@uncomfortabletruth8976 So this mod is called Rais Multiplayer Mod (RMPM) and it's the current most popular mod for multiplayer and a personal favorite of mine. It's great for single player too. The -1 dilithium is because I am 'ghosting' dilithium. I have 2 sources of dilithium but I am building ships in 3 shipyards hence the minus 1. You only need a source of dilithium for the final turn of building a ship. So as long as your ships are set to complete building at staggered intervals you can have more shipyards than sources of dilithium. One of botf's many exploits! :)
@@iluvbotf it makes more sense anyway. If you are only constructing the hull of a ship then why do you need dilithium unless you were finally launching it?
So many play as the cardassians, why? I always thought the Romulans and federation were strongest.
