The steel sound of the hood closing at the beginning reminded me when i was young and my dad closed the hood on our 1960' Chevrolet stationwagon after checking the fluid levels
The car just looks so sweet, always a favorite body style of mine from the 60's era Chevys.

My mom had a 2-door '63 Impala, same body style, hardtop. It was just about the same color, had a light blue top, and the rest was a darker blue. I'm sure it had a 283, and it was automatic transmission. I well remember riding in it as a kid!

Now I’m sure. This is. Not an SS. A true SS has different side trim, 2 trunk antennas and never a column shift. Also, you can see the new hardware on inside of trunk where someone has changed to an SS emblem. I have a 64 impala.

I have an in progress, (stopped due to a costly divorce) custom build project 1955 Chevy, big window truck that has been in my family for nearly 50 years. I am willing to part with it for a completed car or truck. I have 30k into it. I will not give it away, but will trade equal cost for value for a completed car or truck. It has chrome grill and bumpers with the wood bed. New custom frame 2x6 tubing, new high performance 425 horse 454 Chevy create motor, turbo 400 auto trans, new aluminum fuel cell, new radiator, new heidts suspension, new serpentine belt system, aluminum intake, new custom wheels and tires, headers, 4 barrel carburetor. It needs interior and body, paint and glass. Body is straight with some minor rust spots in the usual places but overall great shape. It just collecting dust and taking up room in my garage. It pains me to let it go but I am nearly 60 years old and am starting over financially so I don't see me ever getting it finished. I have two young daughters, but don't see any interest from them in my family truck. Reply to my comment if interested. Thanks

Nice looking car, but it needs quite a bit of work mechanically and cosmetically. Lights not working, missing lettering exhaust needs replacing, leaks like a sieve, driver's seat back needs internal work, shifter indicator for console needs to be corrected, engine kickdown worked out, etc. These are just the things that are visible, not counting the unknown. Also not exactly sure if it is a true SS or not. If I had the cash I would buy it after some hard negotiating and then trailer it straight to the shop for a good going over and rehab.

Some odd stuff about the car that would need to addressed. Needs major rust repair, water in trunk is hopefully from the missing emblem/hole in side, radio with wire gone. It looks like it was a column to floor shifter conversion. Overall needs some TLC but with these coming harder to find 25k is not a bad price, just expect to put a few grand into the major issues, then chase cosmetic. On a side note, I find the horn not working a red flag. If you are keeping on safety/inspection items - what else was not addressed? Again, as a daily driver that needs work it will be hard too find a better example.
Thanks for your comment, yes all we do is wash the cars here and sell them. We actually don’t do any kind of work on them. We disclose everything we can find for the customer and it sell them like wildfire. Thanks again
