The lead guitar, Jake, wanted harmonica on this song and the producer, Dave Cobb, wasn’t sure. So Jake laid it down and they used that first take. The singer, Josh, plays the harmonica in concert. Their dad is a blues harmonica player. Sam, the bass player, is really talented and he shines. It’s a very cool song.

Sam is also excellent on the keyboard The organ is such a great addition to their sound

The Kiszka’s Father is a FANTASTIC mouth harp player in a blues band!
Starcatcher is nominated for best rock album this year along with Foo Fighters and Metallica!

Jake plays the harmonica on the album but Josh plays it when they perform it live. Definitely a banger of a song. I recommend The Indigo Streak, has a nasty riff.

If you REALLY want to be blown away by Josh's(frontman) vocals, Watch their Live preformance of "Age of Machine" it is truly a masterpiece.
I recommend Age of Machine or Lover leaver taker believer. So good!

I like the live version better but both twin brothers play harmonica. Their dad's a blues harmonica and taught them how to play.

Dave Cobb produced the record done at RCA studio, basically live. Half the songs were done on 1st or 2nd take.

You should try *The Warning* - three sisters who brought hard rock to the 2023 MTV VMAs like they haven't experienced in decades - their song 'Evolve'. One sister is Modern Drummer Magazine's Best Up and Coming Drummer. One has been a Spector Artist since she was 13 and is at the intro to their Artists page. One was gifted guitars by Lzzy Hale and Matt Bellamy. They rock!

Backtrack a little to their previous album, "Battle At The Garden's Gate," and watch their live in the studio performance of "Age Of Machine." It's a slow, mysterious, atmospheric number impeccably filmed.

PLEASE react to The Weight of Dreams which is from what’s probably there best album so far the battle at gardens gate and it’s a long trip of a song quite similar to you know who’s song stairway to heaven in a way. The weight of dreams is my favorite Greta song by far!
Jake Kiszka did a pretty scary solo surrounded by fire
Several of the videos from this album feature a young lady with long blond hair in a cape. She could be either the drummer Danny’s girlfriend MacKenzie or Jake’s girlfriend Hannah. Their albums seem to have a particular theme, and they have really creative videos.
I'm 99% sure the attention to videos has something to do with Josh's love of filmmaking.

you went from their first material with "Highway Tune" to their latest stuff, but you should definitely listen to music from their BEST album - The Battle at the garden's gate! Age of Machine is amazing, along with Broken Bells and The Weight of Dreams :) just saying, you haven't listen to their best yet!
