One other feature that I would really like is the ability to have a “ruler” in 3D viewer. This would enable distances between entities to be found from the job data if the paper drawing is not readily on hand (which can be often in construction). Options like “point to point” with 3D, 2D and 1D information available. I can manage in a way by creating a line and then viewing its properties but as a one off measurement, it’s a pain to have to delete it again. Thanks!
The ability to select lines on the fly in measure to line is a great addition. Thank you! Could you please add an option in “transfer height” to allow users to select the design job within the app. This would be useful to myself whereas after setting up, the control I use is not accurate to height or is arbitrary for the purposes of transferring a height marker. To then maintain the same position I and transfer height, currently users must have the point with the desired height in the current design job, or be prepared to add a new one in whatever job design job is active. This is not always feasible so involves having to go back, select the design job with the height point, the after setting up then changing back when staking or measuring. On the CS20 in particular, this can be a bit annoying. Please reach out if I can shed more information on this matter.
In the Edit points (or Line tab) should have a new tab called stake out as a key shortcut to directly stake the selected point or line in the points or line manager.
If we are using the GPS and we are staking out ( RTK via VRS) it shoud warning us or locking the display if it is out of accurancy. Leica only shows a message box in case of saving the mesured point and this is out of accurancy. But how we are controlling the accurancy during the staking out? Do the same when it lose the gprs signal..
Thank you for your comment. Tilt compensation is turned off when tilt initialization is lost. There could be many reasons for losing tilt initialization, but not moving the receiver does not necessarily mean switching off tilt compensation automatically.
