I'm on a cruise to Loreto this April so I was looking for things to do on YT and your "We used our life savings to build a resort in Loreto" video popped up. Now that isn't what I was looking for but it intrigued me and I was so sad when you guys were in trouble for a bit. I wanted to see if you had any other videos and saw this one as your last and i thought NO,, THIS CANNOT BE! Ah....I've been tricked lol. What a relief.
While I won't be staying since we are only in port for a few hours I kind of hope I have time to take a walk over just to see the outside.

To anyone considering buying this trailer, I own almost the exact same one. This is a superb trailer. To me, being 1/2 ton towable, is the only way to go. Perfect size. Perfect weight. There is definitely a point of diminishing returns in travel trailers. My buddy owns a massive $90,000 5th wheel, and it requires a 1-ton truck to pull it. Harder to drive, harder to park, and not every park can accommodate him. And, he's got to drive around a huge truck around town, when he's parked and unhitched and gets terrible gas mileage, not to mention huge cost to buy that truck. All that, and the only amenity he has that I don't is a tiny washer/dryer and a bunch of extra storage. You guys bought the perfect travel trailer. Best of luck selling it. whoever buys it, won't regret it. 🙂

Very true! We completed our entire property with four buildings and pool and the entire infrastructure in 7 months because we were here everyday and had a great builder. There are some other projects around us that have been going for over 2 years and are nowhere near completion. Being on site all day every day they work is the best advice

It is no where the quality of a bungalow and dealing with the RV toilet in a rental would be a nightmare.

Have you considered adding on that in addition, for a monthly/yearly fee, the trailer can stay parked on your property? Or keep to house a helper?
We did consider it but we need the funds all at one time instead of a trickle over the next 20 years
@dooglassandesperanza My thought was that you sell the trailer outright for cash but sign an agreement with that person to rent the location/land it is at for a monthly fee. You'd have to have in the agreement that it can't be rented out, can only be used by purchaser or his family.
I see so many people in US who want to live in Mexico and this would open up that reality for only $30k.
We have looked into putting in RV spots and it doesn't pencil out. There are several established RV parks in town.

We don't really get any backpackers in Loreto. A few bikers a year doing the Trans America trip but that's it.

The stock bathroom faucet was plastic and very cheap.

Why not make the trailer a rental unit on your property?I am sure you could make good money on it.
We need the full amount now and renting It would take 20 years or more to get that much out of it and it probably wouldn't even be rentable after 10 years

I know the money is always best in hand but if your track record is like mine... as soon as you sell it you will need it. But that's life so sell and have a Taco and a Margarita (or 2) P n D
It was always our plan to sell it at this point. It was an end to a means and we don't plan to do any RVing in the future.

How would selling it, and getting paid upfront (like u want to) and then managing it as a rental on-site with a profit share/ fee sound? Could she be hooked up to the septic tank? That way you get paid and receive an income from rents?

Yes we investigated it and it doesn't pencil out. Water hookup alone is over $2000 USD a bedroom. Our neighbor next door is paying over $100K USD for water hookup fees for 10 houses. Electrical would be $3000 in wire alone for each RV spot.

Both TVs pull out. The living does not angle down, the bedroom does.
Will you take a 12,0000.00 deposit? We want to move there and that would be perfect for us . We saw a few properties there that just have an r.v. on their lot. Are r.v. park monthly rentals expensive in Loreto?

It is a little bit click baity but we are selling the trailer which is in back of us in the thumbnail so everything is completely accurate.

I agree with the original commenter that I don't like totally false click bait titles either but I consider click bait to be putting something in the title that is obviously false.
