Heyo everyone!
So... a lot of unpredictable things happened and some songs schedule had to be changed - Mainly the very well awaited "Nerath's theme", I apologise for the delay.
It'll be released, don't worry, just be patient.
Behind the screen, we're all human and sometimes it takes more time than planned to do something because unfortunate things happen. Same goes for people I work with and I'll NEVER push someone because we're "late" for a release. Health before anything!
Speaking of P@D, here's one of the two tracks that have been featured in their new album: Sun of the Night VIP!
I know I always said that I never really planned to make a VIP (Variation In Production) of that song, but... to be honest, if I did one for Night Queen, why not doing it as well for Daybreaker's theme! =D
This 2021 version of Sun of the Night is way longer than the original and feature the amazingly talented violincellist Yoed Nir, who did an incredible job in this track and improvised an outstanding cello solo!
In addition to that, the song has been professionaly mixed and mastered by Joël Dollié (who previously worked with me on Legion EP and the epic Guild Wars 2 cover of "Aurene, Dragon Full of Light" with Asja Kadric)
I hope you'll like this new edition of the first Infinite Eclipse track I released, back in 2017!

Also, this "album" is only the prequel - the main story in IE is set 300 years after the current events - to be fairly honest with you, the Goddesses aren't really main characters in the series (because they just are too powerful to be used fairly). However, the "main" antagonists would be Ayzat and Naegissa, as well as several Archbishops who will be introduced in the main story.
Right now, I'm just setting up the world and the beginning of the story ;)

Imagine, 1000 years past, and Nightmare Moon's rage boils away into sorrow again. Returning to Equestria, just happy to feel the ground again, Luna is mortified to find Celestia transformed into a tyrant.
I like to imagine a Nightmare Moon beat Twilight when she returned and banished Celestia to the moon. With her victory secured, her rage begins to mellow out as the harsh realities of ruling become apparent (like massive suffering because of her eternal night). And just when she is starting to wish she'd never betrayed Celestia, she returns from her banishment as Daybreaker to avenge Twilight and slaughter all those loyal to Nightmare Moon.

Basicaly Malenia but with the "the sun is a deadly lazer" thing
As I listen to this I think of Celestia and Daybreaker coming to an agreement.
And out of that agreement came an immense power.
She probably gonna regret it later though, as with their death comes the rise of purely dark forces of natures wrath called the Goddesses. An alicorn like Celestia and Luna may be like goddesses, but Aqasha and Nerath are Goddesses with a capital G!
This DayBreaker looks cool AF. No wonder so many people fall in love with villains and anti-heroes. Unlike the heroes who are chained by their own morality, anti-heroes can get the job done even if it means getting dirty in the process. It's the worship of power that makes you forget that they are actually evil.
And to be fair. Her design is so good to. Funny how it's just inverted Nightmare Moon. It just works so well.

I really like how this song has like two layers?
The Solars think it is Daybreaker they are worshipping, and so does Daybreaker, and in a way they are kinda?
But at the same time, the high-priestess has basically just tricked them into following and worshipping her Goddess, Aqasha.
Yes, the lyrics can be seen as the cult praising the new Celestia, which it is! But only on the surface level.
Because it can also be seen as the priestess, rejoycing in the shadows, hidden behind the crowd, taking in the glorious sight of her Goddess soon to be reborn again.
I always found this song to grand for Daybreaker, as she is nothing compared to the Goddess of Deatruction.
There is no army of evil for Celestia to conqer.
What depth did she raise from and with what power?
Banishing the shadows of what?
But as soon as I kinda saw beneth that first layer, the grandiose choise of words and the deacription of her power, it made sense.
This song is not about Celestia or Daybreaker. It is about Aqasha slowly regaining power, soon to rise again against her sister, like a sun in the night.
She is to conqer the land of Equestria, the bodys and souls of its inhabitants, and finally destroy her sister.
She woll rise from the depth of un-reality, into reality, and with the heat of the sun following her trail.
She will banish the shadows of nightmares, ice, and darkness once her sister lays dead before her hooves.
This song is not about Daybreaker, but rather about her arrogance for ever thinking this hymn was for her.
But most importantly, its about a Goddess reclaiming what belongs to her, seen from the point of view of a fanatic follower with no life outside of their diety.
Or something...
I dunno if I explained that well at all, but I tried.XD
Yup! Well, it wasn't quite understandable back in the day when the Goddesses weren't teased or anything, but now that most of the IE's prequel tracks are released, people might notice the reason of why in the songs "Sun of the Night" and "Night Queen", the singer sings like they were heroes :p

May I ask what happened to the Discord Server? I was off for 3 days to study for my examinations the it randomly disappeared.
@@CeriseAurium I deleted it for several reasons - I made an announcement a day before but, yeah, no more IE discord server.
@@JycRow Oh, I see. I just joined and I did quite enjoy it there. Surprised to see it deleted.
@@CeriseAurium Well, there were some problems there and some people complained that they didn't felt as welcomed as they were back in the first days of the server, some people were uncomfortable (myself included). And the most important thing - some people even started to not like IE and the work around it because of some cancerous things in the server - which is a big no-no. I myself slowly started to not be that hyped about IE so I took the decision to delete it.
It was necessary for my liking of my own project, for my mental health as well as for some of my mods.
So, yeah - I'd rather delete the server and still like IE to be able to continue working on it than letting the server lives and, at the end, completely give up on IE. ^^'
Just dont pay attention to what they said Jyc cause the peope success is the people do it because you like , not what other people think so igonore the criticism you heard

Yoed is amazing and, honestly, I highly suggest him to any composer who wants a piece of cello in their music!
At this point I jokingly started thinking on some folks being like "Man can we go back to just having to deal with her and NMM? Things were easier back then!" Man I love the grandiose sound of this song! Very nice.
Somehow, this reminds me of Phoenix and Dark Phoenix. "I am fire! And Life Incarnate! Now and forever...I AM PHOENIX!"
Like Nightmare Moon's theme and Nerath's theme, I hear Aqasha's theme in this one. Brilliant.
Oh wow those drums are so damn powerful, I feel like I am watching this being performed live, I also love the more raw power on this VIP, makes a good contrast with the Night Queen VIP wich is much more calculated and "slow" it just has a bit more of a steady pace, this one feels more agressive love them both.

Compared to the previous one, this has been made with a new VST - Spitfire BBC Symphony Orchestra - and has been mixed/mastered by a professional sound engineer, which also help a lot on the quality! =D
You know it's a good song if you can lie back in your bed past midnight with this pouring through your headphones into your ears from your mobile device, you mouthing almost every single word along with the vocalist each time she drops one and feel the intensity behind her words, like a fire in your heart that you are attempting to hold back but your words betray you for its magnificence, all with your eyes shut and never peeking at the subtitles

I made my own story that takes place directly after this song. It’s super long, FYI 😅
The Princess of the night watched in horror as her elder sister was forcefully corrupted by the same evil they had banished years ago. As the former queen of the Nightmare Forces engulfed Celestia, the sun Princess cried out in desperation “Luna! You must become Her once more! She is Equestria’s only hope!” The throne room was soon filled with golden light... and Celestia’s terrified screams. In her place was a mare with dragon like eyes, golden armor, and a mane of pure fire: Daybreaker. She laughed maniacally as she raised the sun to block out the moon. Luna used this time to send a scroll to some old friends. Now she just needed to keep her sister-no, this MONSTER busy until they arrived. Getting onto her hooves, Luna stared down the Sun of the Night in defiance. “Celestia, I will not fight you! Thou must lower the sun!” She declared, echoing what Celestia told her a thousand years ago “Tis’ Thy duty!” The former solar monarch fluttered down from her throne and snarled “Celestia? I am DAYBREAKER!” she declared with a smirk that could make even Tirek quiver in fear “And I have only one royal duty now. To destroy you!!!!” Had Daybreaker not been monologuing, she might have noticed that Luna had just gotten another scroll with her reply. With tears in her eyes, Luna gave a solemn vow. “Oh, Tia....We are sorry. Now I will use it to defeat you and free my sister!” With that, both dark alicorns took to the sky.

A completely different feel to it than the original. Much more melancholic and strait, if I'd summarize it.
Fits an Epic or Theatrical-targetted piece quite well.
I also noticed this was, quite unique in formula than most other pieces I've listened to. More, layered? I think.
