Hello friend, I personally don't trust or even use a ruler or level to find out if the frame is straight. Old school tricks always work, (ask harley engineers). 1st, made sure your engine & transmission is center ways on frame. 2nd. If that's OK, made sure your rear tire is center & alignment to your engine/tranny measurements. 3rd, once this's clear check one more time turning your rear tire on reverse to confirm alignment on your tire. 4th, use a strain from the neck center to the center top o your rear tire. This normally is ok with factory bike, but if the bike is being on an accident, you will find the difference. Good luck
Hope you can get it straightend out like the other comment say. Would be interesting to see that proces (including cost). Good luck with it which ever way you choose (the seller is a pr€:(k for not mentioning this to you!).
I've been doing a bit of digging into the frame straightening process, really interesting if you're into jigs and critical measurements. There's light at the end of the tunnel though, will have update soon.
Damn mate that sucks big time!! I have a honda rebel from 86 en i love the springer fork so if you gonna sell it i wanna buy it!! Butt i hope you find a solution! Goodluck

Get it straightened my mate had his yzr750 done by a company in birmingham...he told us most frames are out of true from the factory.
Yes I've heard this too because of mass manufacturing. Thanks for advice never knew frame straightening was a thing!
I would have removed top tube n straightened headstock ,
