The Flatshare!! I just finished this book and it became one of my favorite romance books of all time! It's about two roommates who live in the same apartment and sleep in the same bed, but never meet because he works night shift and she works during the day- so they communicate by leaving little letters on post-it's around the house. The writing style for the guy's point of view is very different, but once you get past that it is a very heartfelt book and would definitely recommend :)

i highly recommend the rest of the love and gelato “series”, there’s three including love and gelato and each book is set on a diff girl (the second one is about lina’s bsf). i definitely preferred the last one, love and olives. it’s set in greece and i love loved the love story and the main plot so highly recommend!

I recommend Agatha Christie books, especially the Poirot books, the characters are so likeable, the plots are chef's kiss and the plot twists sometimes take me days to get over. The writing style is not to hard either which is a huge plus. Overall Agatha Christie's books are great, cozy reads, but also a great book to take to the beach.

Marissa Meyer is a great author to read from if you're looking for recommendations and Sarah Dessen as well. Sarah Dessen writes contemporary which I think you would like and Marissa Meyer mainly writes fairytale retellings.

You should defined read Bone Crier’s Moon! It is a fantasy romance. There is enemies to lovers. Badass female main character. Awwww one of my favorite books. I also recommend The Program. Its a dystopian novel where people that show signs of depression are taken into a facility called the program. It also has a forbidden romance and it is a series.

Eh I’m sure this wasn’t entirely what you meant, but I wouldn’t say guys would only like Legend. I understand that the genre isn’t your favorite but I think anyone could like the story. It has a lot different elements to it.

you should check out Turtles All the Way Down by John Green!! I think his stuff often gets written off as basic YA romance, but this book is definitely different and is more of a character study than anything else :))

okay read: the ballad of song birds and snakes, we were liars, fable, anything by Francine rivers, I would recommend reading the second legend book I kinda hated legend but then liked the second book, as well read the red queen series its so worth it!!

Read the Glass Castle! Not young adult romance, but a beautiful story! There is also a movie about it :)
