Look great mate, the orcs for HQ look really good, like the bone armour also like the idea of doing slight colour differences so you got a choice of you need a special character
Thanks. I love painting orcs the freedom to paint them whatever skin colour you want is fun. Yeah some slight variety in colour is a good idea. The lord knows I dont have any other orc miniatures I could use as champions!
They all look great man, have you ever thought about doing a painting video?. I would be very interested in seeing how you do things?. The reason I ask is that I do a class for beginners and intermediate painters but sadly I have to stop because of health reasons. And they have asked me if I could give them a list of people to watch.
Thanks for the comment and continued support. Yeah I have thought of paint along videos in the past, but dont think I have much to offer. I dont use all the techniques which are widely regarded as the correct ones. I dont thin my paints enough, dont use a wet palette and dont paint beyond my own tabletop standard. I would hate to send someone down the wrong path and pick up my bad habits. I think my style is paint to good enough and most people want to be taught to a higher standard. I hope you understand my reservations? I would love to help people getting into this hobby and appreciate the suggestion, but for all the above not sure I am the right person. Saying that I watch alot of youtube while painting. So if you want a list of the ones I watch that deal with painting, I am more than willing to give you a list to add to your own. Do you have a channel here on you tube? If so I would like to have a look. I am sorry to hear you have health problems that are restricting your hobby. I hope that you continue to hobby in what ever way you can. I have some minor health issues and I know how important this hobby can be for our mental health. Best wishes WMBG

5:01 one thing that really helps me paint that height is prime black, then dry brush like 2 grays, then white, wash then black, dry brush white

@@TheCraftyMini makes sure it’s bone dry before you wash! Might need a layer or two of whites to reach desired color
