Riding such a train is a pleasure. We like.
Awesome great. Many thanks for sharing! It gives a beautiful feeling of a wonderful Russia.
Wish it never stops!! Since my very childhood I'm dreaming of this trip! In the early 70's, when I was just 8-10, I used to depict it on a notebook! Thanks to Doc, I was able to experience it almost in real time, 'til I do it on my own... One day..
These vids are part of my dream come true!.. Many, many thanks for having taken time to put in online.. Greetings from France!
Hello from Russia with love ❤️
Just finished watching the last part. It was indeed a great experience traveling with you!
In Indian philosophy the term...Nishkaam karmayoga.....means doing things without any expectations for the good of others, and this is surely one of those.
The joy you have passed on to so many who want but can't make this journey will join me in blessing you.
Thanks a million!!!

What a difference! Sounds as railway services for St.Petersburg are presented more decently in comparison to Asian side. Love the caviar plate! Think Royal-Live Royal! 🌞
не переживай ванкувер-в азиатской стороне россии ходят фирменные поезда шикарные не то что у вас в канаде
Beautiful. Stunning railway station, train and city. Nicely covered. Tempting to make this trip. Love from India
I watched the entire series. Lovely filming!
Those important details You covered made Me watch all the 1-9 Parts on Autoplay as they were so tempting Bro.. 9000+Kms by Different Trains!!! You deserve beyond accolades. May, "GOD" keep You Always Blessed. Prayers for You from India.

Beautiful trip spasiba from morocco casablanca I like Russia
Another superb video in this series. I so want to go back to Russia.
Extraordinary journey and the vdo . Thanks
Thank you for sharing this great journey...😊❤
We took the Red Arrow from St Petersburg to Moscow. Thank you for bringing back happy memories!
не красная стрелка-а красная стрела-этот поезд ходит с 30х годов
Excellent concise written comments at the right corner. Long silent views replace greatly audio blablas. Surprised not a word though, about travelers meetings or sharing your compartment
Good effort, appreciable, 1 have seen 8 parts already, all are amazing and Russia is beautiful
At last, at last you've managed to continue your journey Doc, I have been following your travels, noting how busy you must be, so quite happy to wait for the journeys ultimate ending. (Great music as a theme to each section).
Thank you for sharing. Great video
Wow! What a fabulous video. So amazing to watch you enjoying your adventure on the Trans Siberian railway. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Cheers from Australia!
I would recommend the restaurant "Таможня" ("Customs") when you stay next time on the Vasilevsky Island in Petersburg - that's fantastic!
Excellent! Vielen Dank! Your train trip videos are among the best. Have taken many of the trains in this and other series myself. Now anxiously waiting the release of part 10, as well as, the continuation of your Kazakhstan journey.
I love your videos! Thank you very much!
You have presented a really good series of videos of the journey from Vldivostok to, at the moment, St Petersburg, for which I thank you. I now look forward to the journet to Helsinki. Alan
Muziek ...prima👍👍

Looks great! 🤩🤩
Many thanks for the video. A great peice of work. Just makes one appreciate the size of the country. Recommend that viewers watch the videos with a map of the relevant region open in another window.
Nice to see the video
Great video 👍
Excellent
Hi... your videos from the Transiberian are the best of all... many thanks for sharing.... when is coming the final part??
Great
yes it was cool😊
Still waiting for Part 10 ......
So close to final :)
The most prestigious train is Red Arrow. Grand Express maybe the most luxurious, but definitely not the most prestigious.
There are many trains!
I wish you could post more often your videos, they are so interesting!!!
Wonderful video. Name of the background music
Thanks for the video.I even wanted to go by train from Moscow to Vladivostok in a compartment with a good company...And then I fly on a plane and on a plane.Greetings from Russia!)))
12:35 - Mikhail Pogrebinsky - the best Ukrainian politologist, as for me 🙂👍
Good effort. What is total cost of the journey.
9 hours vs 3,5 hours thats cool. I did not know that Russia has also High speed trains. Approximately your train travels 100km/h and the high speed train is about 250km/h. If my guess is correct :)
You are quite right. The October Railway uses Sapsan ('peregrine falcon') high-speed trains that are a winterized broad-gauge version of ICE3. The only thing to be added is that we have built no dedicated lines; so, while being the straightest in Russia, the Moscow-SPb line is full of slow traffic, so Sapsan only reaches 250 km/h somewhere in the middle - also slowed down by limited power of the 3kV DC catenary.
How do you communicate wirh train attendance ? In Russian?
you ever ride the Red Arrow train?
Is Blini a sweet desert?
"Grand de Lux" class in that train is exceptional, and no video about "Grand Imperial", unfortunately 🙁
I would have enjoyed seeing the berths for those top two classes, and learning whether passengers in those received better meals, sparkling wine, etc.
@@helenel4126 "Grand de Lux" class ruclips.net/video/d79BSrD-YGI/видео.html
Does train no. 4 also has a shunter attached at the end of the train?
An audio commentary would have enhanced the experience to a much higher level 😥
Still no last part? :)
What is the intro and ending music?
850 km (14:02) i blisko 9 godzin (15:42) daje średnią ok. 94 km/h. Znacznie lepiej niż na wschód od Moskwy, ale...
Autor filmu podkreśla, że ten pociąg to ekspres i to flagowy ekspres! To jednak za mała prędkość by mówić o rzeczywiście nowoczesnej kolei.
Nowoczesna kolej to średnia prędkość powyżej 100 km/h i to nie jeden kilometr więcej a kilkadziesiąt kilometrów na godzinę więcej...
Chińczycy górą!
Its changed so much since USSR days!!!
actually, traditionally the most elite type train of the Moscow - St-Petersburgh line is the Red-Arrow, though it is somewhat more old-fashioned in its decor... I also understand the wish to take more time by taking a slightly slower train, but this is a comment for the claim at the start of the video... Grand Express is certainly one of the top trains, however is usually considered between 3rd and 5th in the pecking order of Moscow-Leningrad (as the line is still called) expresses.
Which train is on the top and second of the pecking order?
@@doc7austin top is definitely the RedArrow, the second one is the one now called Express-Express (initially named RedArrow 2, it is virtually just an extension of the RedArrow service, but uses a dark melody-blue rather then Burgundy as the base color scheme for its velvet's and curtains, both trains are dressed in a lot of teak and mahogany).
saying all this, it's more a case of poshness & noble-tradition rather then actual comfort, because, both of these trains have an older & generally narrower layout (more people per carriage) then the SPb-Grand-Express you went on.
What is the intro music!? Thanks.
You mentioned the pricing for your Premium-class ticket. Do you know also what is the pricing for the other classes?
EUR 35 for a second class Kupe berth
@@doc7austin Thanks. But frankly said, I would have been more interested in the prices for the higher luxury classes
How is personal safety and security on these trains?
Modern Russia is safer than most other countries in the world :-)) Those guests who came to us for the 2018 FIFA world Cup were personally convinced of this
When will be the last part showing?
it will be published this weekend
Верхняя полка? Наверное не старый чел
Grand Express isn't better than train №002 Red Arrow, how you go to Helsinki? By "Allegro"?
No Lev Tolstoy between St. Petersburg and Helsinki
So far, Grand Express is the best train in Russia, due to its exclusive Grand Imperial class. The Lux class in both trains are almost similar (with private shower and toilet).
What is the distance from Moscow to st Petersberg. Are there high standard trains all the way to valadivostok.?
850km/ no, the highest class of service to Vladivostok is SV (First Class Spalny Vagon)
@@doc7austin Sorry, it's 650 km.
Anatoly is right - about 650 km from Moscow to Saint Petersburg by railway 🙂
Есть возможность проехать по самому красивому перегону России - это Междуреченск-Абакан. Оказывается есть электричка которая идёт днём. Вот видео с неё ruclips.net/video/rcIf1VCeRvI/видео.html
THE MISTAKES:
14:00 - the distance between Moscow and Saint Petersburg by railway is about 650 km
19:37 - ...MalayA Neva...
✌️😉
What is the price paid for this?
around EUR 205
@@doc7austin comparable with a business class plane ticket... but you'll miss this genuine overnight travel experience!

This part was boring actually .Maybe because it was filmed night time no any scenery ,view from the window of the car .But overall I enjoyed a lot
April 2020? Where is it? Or maybe coronavirus is real and you can’t film it.
This was filmed in November 2018. There is a description under the video.
the entire transsib series was filmed well ahead of the coronavirus pandemic
Did you see any Russians interfering with politics in the United States?
It was broadcast on TV.
@@xalekcey - According to Pelosi and Schiff, the Russians spend most of their time undermining democracy in America.
I am sure that even my cat did something to undermine US democracy , but I don’t know what and I don’t know how.
Ни одного упоминания об пройденном расстоянии от Владивостока..
There are no notice about the passed distance from Vladivostok
yeah; I forgot
Transsibirian is Moscow-Vladivostok. Traveling to St.pet. is not transsib
this video is part of a ten-part series: Vladivostok - Helsinki
@@doc7austin l see but lt's better to rename the title cause it is incorrect.
@@brixtonfc you're wrong, in general, trans-siberian railway is a way from former russian capital(st. Petersburg) to Vladivostok
@@dirdingleb2010 where did u find this info? that can't be true cause trains from st.pet and vladivostok come to moscow at different railway dead end stations. trassibirian is a WAY connecting moscow and vladivostok.

I thought the trans-siberian way is understood as the railway through whole Russia, started from st.petersburg
