Congratulations. You are a great Creator and great dude, whatever you put out, you know we will all watch. thank you so much for all of your hard work.
It's incredible how much a collection can grow over the years. Sometimes we also look at our toys and wonder how amazing would have been seeing all these toys as kids. And the idea of moving them all is frightening.
Moving is never fun, but in the end you will have a blank slate to build a new toy room in the new house. This is a great opportunity to organize and set things up they way you want. So as painful as it is for you to move everything, I'm sure you're very excited for the new room. I know I can't wait to see it as you put it together. I moved into my house in 2001 with a 3 and 4 year old at the time. As you can understand it was hard to get my own room set up. My basement toy room took me forever to organize due to all that comes along with a family. Now that my kids are both in college I'm finally getting it to the point that I want it. My advice to you is keep everything boxed up for now and organize the shelves/cabinets and layout of the room completely before a single action figure is opened. Unfortunately I had to build walls and shelves around boxes and boxes of toys and it made the work so much harder. Good luck Dan, I'm excited for you and look forward to seeing this unfold!!!!!
Such an amazing collection! And really cool to see the steps you and the family are taking to get moved and setup in a new place. Best of luck to you guys!
Dan- it's great of you to show the logistical side of toy collecting- while my collection is nowhere near that size, a recent move helped me get reorganized, and recognize there were a lot of items I needed to put up on eBay. You are a positive influence on the community with your upbeat attitude- I've been watching you since I started the Super-DuperToyBox blog, and always felt a kindred spirit watching your enthusiasm for the hobby. You are loved by many!
Thank you! Yes, the plan is to use this event to purge a bit, and hone my collection down to the things I really care about so that it's more manageable. :-)
What I did that may help you is I made rules governing how many toys I could have within a collection. It really makes the ones you keep that much more special. For Star Wars and MOTU, only one of each main character per era. For Transformers, I try to only have one of each mold. For Power Rangers, I try to keep myself to Blue Rangers and Evil Space Aliens. This keeps me from owning "the same toy" over and over again. Also, I got rid of smaller collections entirely so I could focus on my life-long favorites.
I am very happy for you Dan. I hope your new home is more spacious and will allow you to have more room to do your reviews better. I can't wait to see the new place and I hope your new toy room and studio will be amazing. Are you going to hire a moving company to help you move all the furniture, sofa, and beds? Well good luck and safe journeys my friend
"As it stands this basement is pretty much empty..." Sheesh. Dan it looks like there is another half truck of stuff still in the basement. I also think people would enjoy a couple live stream toy review sessions.
I find moving or massive cleaning gives the perfect opportunity to "update" my collection (i.e. throw out or sell), and rearrange and reorganize everything better, then you wind up feeling so much better because everything is less cluttered and in order.
Man... that looks insane! Sometimes i look around my living room, i live in a flat in Rome, Italy, and get scared by the mess of robots, action figures and toys it contains. I keep replacing the furniture with Ikea Detolfs, but... your studio/toyroom is PURE MADNESS!!! Keep on this way, ya know we love it!
That's why I started selling at Kane in 2008, same thing, we got one of those moving PODs, and 75% was my collection, so overwhelming that I just started selling left and right. It's a good release when you you get that fresh start, but be careful, cause it can easily add up again, lol. Here I am, almost 10 years later and now I think I have MORE then I did back then... DOH! Good luck brother!!! "You can do eeet"
Good luck man, Moving sucks especially when your a collector. I have done it twice and its both not fun and exciting to start new in a new place, Lots of work but when your done and feel settled in it will be oh so sweet.
I always envy people with your attitude and optimism haha. I am such a beaten down negative downer. Good luck with the move. Look forward to more collection vids in your new home.
I am looking forward very much to see how the new toy room will look like. I think it's a good idea to have a background filled with cool, interesting and awesome toys it looks so much better. Watched a whole bunch of your latest videos now, enjoyed them all as i always do. Best of luck with the new house and everything else, the channel, life, family, hunt for toys and so on :D
I think the livestream review idea is pretty cool. Gives a different format for you to do reviews, more off the cuff, and if it helps you whittle down the backlog and take that stress off while you're in moving madness, all the better.
Having recently moved myself i hope you have them all packed up well so they dont damage in transit, some of that retro stuff is irreplaceable and expensive.
Take all time in the world you need to move to your new place, Dan. I'm pretty sure, people will understand and wait for you to show your new reviews. Take care, friend.
I had that same problem. We got a 24 ft moving truck and my collection filled up more than half of it. We had to leave some furniture and things behind because we moved out of state. I am currently going thru my collection and getting rid of some stuff that I don't care about because moving that much stuff is a pain.
Yeah it stunk but we left furniture behind. I couldn't leave my toys :) I've been selling off my big vehicles and bases off and concentrating on collecting just the figures. Take up a lot less space and easier to store.
That’s a lot of boxes, thanks for sharing these videos and letting us take part in your toy room endeavours. On another note have you considered getting a Patreon account? Would be a great way for us fans to give something back to you for all your great videos and hard work.
i can only imagine how many toys you must have in your collection. and it is indeed an awesome collection, but it's still a buttload of toys. i myself mainly stick to collecting action figures and smaller mini figures. i've got about 330 or so figures in my collection but i'm sure yours completely dwarfs mine.
Jeeze mate what a huge job! It's one of the most stressful things you can do isn't it! Lucky you have little Spencer to act as Supervisor hahahaha. What a cutie man lolol. Beautiful family bro. Wishing you all the very best with the job ahead!
Toys toys toys hell yeahhhh. Greetings from Argentina. Keep moving forward. I see all of your videos. You are very hilarious and love your reviews . Nice work Dan
Dan do the live stream! And then post it on your channel afterwards if I miss it. I'd totally watch you open toys and review for hours while I build models or paint.
Well was told this the other day. "DUDE YOU GOT THE PLASTICRACK GOING ON!" My response "Should have seen what I used to have." I had such a mix of 80s goodness in my toys but sad that some things got rotten ransacked. Just makes me miss my old house (Wish hit powerball, would buy it back, pay mortage, get the people in it a place so no worries for them and reset up the basement for a shooting room as where at now is tiny) Know the moving whoas though. Another channel I watch are (or would it be is) in process of selling their old place right now as well but moved in to their new home so been keep track on both. Live stream multi reviews well sounds like a plan to me.
The struggle is real have a two car garage that has unfortunately cut off into a one-car garage due to toy collection in containers move twice already it's at 3 trips with a long bed truck to load everything in
Is the new toy room / filming set, bigger, the same size, or smaller than the one in this house? I'm sure you've probably talked about it before, but I just missed it. Moving sucks, but there is no better way for you to solve your cluttered up toy room problem than being forced to box it up and move it to a new house. Love the channel and your videos! Thank you for sharing as much as you have about your life beyond just toy reviews and unboxings. Cant wait to see the new set up!
It's a bit of a different set-up in the new place. Two separate rooms: 1 for the studio, 1 for the collection. So it's going to change things a bit, but ultimately I think I'll really like it that way.
Pixel Dan yeah, that actually sounds like a positive change. I can imagine it gets challenging when you're trying to maintain a studio area and a collection room all in the same space. Looking forward to seeing how you set it all up! Hope the moving has been going well and not too stressful!
Hey Dan !! Good luck for everything ! Waiting for the new games room : )) As always, bravo for your videos. Continue ! A suscriber from France , Elyas !
2006, had to move, filled 2/3 of a storage unit with toys and comics, rest was furniture, etc. I don't want to talk about what happened to most of that, but at least I'm not physically ill whenever I do think about how much I lost. summer 2013, I had to put everything in storage again. filled the storage unit and moved in with sister until I got my Disability approved year and half later. I have two whole rooms dedicated to toys now, plus "fodder pile" and 95% Dr Who shelves in bedroom. I'm basically hoarding at this point. oh, and ZERO HELP moving any of it. move into storage was only a mile+, so wasn't too bad, other than crappy intersection getting into/out of storage units an 90+ heat. getting it out was hour drive one way, still no help. If I move again, it better be fire torched everything or after I won the lottery, because no way am I doing this by myself again.
I'd laugh if everytime you put a box in, Spencer took one out... so glad that I sent my blind Box instead of a package. it made it easier for you. for backdrop, maybe a screen of the masters of the universe the red rocks blasting on the cardboard toy package. yes please do live reviews. I think in September is when I'll send you the next blind Box...
Congratulations. You are a great Creator and great dude, whatever you put out, you know we will all watch. thank you so much for all of your hard work.
Thanky ou! :-D

Thanks!!
thats one mad collection dan. its been a massive build up over the years. hope you get the rest of the house packaged up.
Dan- it's great of you to show the logistical side of toy collecting- while my collection is nowhere near that size, a recent move helped me get reorganized, and recognize there were a lot of items I needed to put up on eBay. That live stream idea is great. That would a lot of fun to watch.
It's something I'm strongly considering once I get settled in. :-)
Jason Moore 😄
What an undertaking. Thanks for sharing your experience, Dan!
Thanks for watching!
You, 'Stina & Spencer make such a wonderful family. Nothing but love and happy thoughts for you ☺️
Thank you! :-D
Everything you have planned sounds awesome! and thanks for documenting your move; hope it all pans out smoothly.
Thanks for watching! :-)
Great vid. Hope everything goes good with the new place.
Thanks!!

"Why do I got this many toys?"
The World May Never Know
LOL!! I still haven't figured it out. How does this even happen? :-D
Pixel Dan Every collector's main problem, too much stuff, not enough space 😂😂😂
Why do you have so many toys? It's in your tag line... For the love of toys!
Good point! LOL
"As it stands this basement is pretty much empty..." Sheesh. Dan it looks like there is another half truck of stuff still in the basement. I also think people would enjoy a couple live stream toy review sessions.
LOL! Does it? I bet I can fit the rest of this stuff (expect the playsets) in one big box. :-) I'll know in the next day here.
I love my toys.. but I'm so glad I don't have that many.
I envy you. :-)
A.T. Reviews lol same here
You have a beautiful family Dan. I'm very impressed with your collection. I can't wait to see your new setup at the new place.Good luck with the move.
I find moving or massive cleaning gives the perfect opportunity to "update" my collection (i.e. throw out or sell), and rearrange and reorganize everything better, then you wind up feeling so much better because everything is less cluttered and in order.
Definitely! That's my hope!
Excellent video, Dan! You really own a LOT of toys :D Cool!
I love your videos man!! Hope everything goes smoothly with the move
Good luck on the move
I’m from Brazil and I loved your collection, is incredible. One day I will reach this level. Thanks for the inspired reviews.
Love the live stream idea!
Wow a true collector huge collection ‼️Amazing always enjoy your videos
Man... that looks insane!
:-D Yep. It's nuts. LOL!
Good luck on ur new adventure man. I'm so happy for u and ur family.
Thanks!!! :-D
Good luck Dan to you and your family
Thank you!!

Haha!! Yeah, it's hard to not buy more! :-)
Good luck man, Moving sucks especially when your a collector. I have done it twice and its both not fun and exciting to start new in a new place, Lots of work but when your done and feel settled in it will be oh so sweet.

Can't wait to see more and love the livestream idea!
I'm getting more excited thinking about it!
I can relate to this moving you're collection is hard but so rewarding at the same time
I can't even imagine having to pack, move and unpack that entire collection.
Great video and look forward to it Mr. Pixel Dan!
Thanks!
Gotta say that neighborhood your moving from looks really nice.
It is a really nice neighborhood! We'll miss it, for sure. But excited about our new neighborhood as well.
1of those boxes is probably every toy i ever owned!
Live stream reviews sound fun. I like the idea of an off-the-cuff review.
Yeah, I think it sounds like a lot of fun! i may go for it! :-D
Good luck with your moving and congrats on the new home! Your shelves have inspired me to do something similar. 🤔
love the live review idea!
Fun video... it has it all: Toys, Spencer, 'Stina and Dan wearing a green danbanna!
LOL!!!!
I think the livestream review idea is pretty cool. Gives a different format for you to do reviews, more off the cuff, and if it helps you whittle down the backlog and take that stress off while you're in moving madness, all the better.
Yeah, more and more I think I'm going to go for this!
A man's collection, turns out to be an family adventure ;-)
A live stream where you build the new toy room would be cool as well i think :D
Love this journey :D. Thanks for showing ^^
Aw, So nice to see the fam.
You should do more vlogs Lol.
:-) Glad you enjoyed!
Having recently moved myself i hope you have them all packed up well so they dont damage in transit, some of that retro stuff is irreplaceable and expensive.
I think I did a pretty good job. We'll see once I unpack though!
Moving is a nightmare, good luck with everything :)
Take all time in the world you need to move to your new place, Dan. I'm pretty sure, people will understand and wait for you to show your new reviews. Take care, friend.
Thank you!!
Good luck disassembling you Palace Eternia. Hope nothing breaks. 😁
Brother if I lived anywhere close to you I would have been there in a heart beat to help you move!
Oh yeah I would love to see live streams from your channel :)
Yeah I definitely think a live review of a bunch of related pieces/figures whatever would probably help! Haha. Great channel, thanks for the content.
Interesting to see someone having the same dilemma as me. I had no idea packing would take so long as it's mostly just toys from my collecting.
You have a lot of treasures there. A LOT! But your biggest treasure is your family.
I had that same problem. We got a 24 ft moving truck and my collection filled up more than half of it. We had to leave some furniture and things behind because we moved out of state. I am currently going thru my collection and getting rid of some stuff that I don't care about because moving that much stuff is a pain.
Oh man! Yeah, that's why we basically spent one day just on my collection. Bummer you had to leave some stuff behind!!
Yeah it stunk but we left furniture behind. I couldn't leave my toys :) I've been selling off my big vehicles and bases off and concentrating on collecting just the figures. Take up a lot less space and easier to store.
Loved your video dan keep up the good work .

Why you move? Bigger place? Another city? Work?
Anyway,
Good job Dan , I know it's been hard for all of you, don't give up!
Wearin a bandanna, talkin bout packin. Dan you a gangsta.
Word.
Man I’d love to dig those boxes with dan
gonna be awesome when your son starts collecting too
Ha! He basically already has! :-D
One dilemma of a collector is moving... I do that a lot.. 🤕
PS. Spencer is so adorable 🤗
:-) Thank you!!
Great idea: the toy shelf background for your future videos. :-)
Love the Vlogs
I'd be interested in a live review or bulk session. Just sit down for an hour or two and do these conveyor belt style.
That's kind of what I was thinking! I think I may give it a go!
Toys toys toys hell yeahhhh. Greetings from Argentina. Keep moving forward. I see all of your videos. You are very hilarious and love your reviews . Nice work Dan
Yes livestream!!

I see you're playing Tetris against that U-Haul
I won! *flexes*
Wow I wish I had that many toys
Your a collector man and a great one ✌😎
Wow. Lot of work.
After 15 years of toy collecting, I understand!! Just hoping I don't have to move!!

in your new place you gotta put up another back brace in between for the shelving, its spaced way too far apart... that warping is scary
Can't wait till you're back at it looking forward to seeing some new tmnt stuff. I'm finally picking up a muckman and usagi yojimbo today.
Hey Dan !!
Good luck for everything ! Waiting for the new games room : ))
As always, bravo for your videos. Continue !
A suscriber from France , Elyas !
Yes!!!!!!!!
Yo, Dan, we ever gonna get that update on the new studio?
your awesome dudee
What lighting do you use when recording you reviews? I'm having trouble finding the right light for reviewing and recording
The bandana's are awsome
2006, had to move, filled 2/3 of a storage unit with toys and comics, rest was furniture, etc.

Coming soon your collection in the program storage wars??
Any plans to review the Supernaturals toyline?
Moving sucks, I feel your pain
The stuff on the shelf that u say u want to review is more toys than I have
Oh jeez. LOL! I have too much!
I know how you feel.
Spencer is getting big. WOW. Pretty soon he will be off to College.
Ugh, don't say that! :-)
When my family moved my moms salt and pepper shakers took half a moving truck i think it was a 20 foot one
Cool 😎
Dude, how do you have so many Lowes boxes?
Don't leave Granamyr behind!!!
