Before 9/11 I had designed a milled aluminum mount for adapting the Rem 870 to mount under AR like the Masterkey. I was machining them one at a time in my garage on weekends, had them Type 2 hard coat anodized by a local shop, then sold them for $135 including the GI M203 mounting bracket and insulator bushings. AFter 9/11 we had about 20% of our department recalled to active duty, we started working 8 on 2 off for the first couple of years, I didn't have time to make chips anymore. But I still have a dimensioned drawing here somewheres. Milled from 1.5" square 7075 T6 bar stock, 13 blanks could be cut from a 12ft length.
This video is only 1 year old and they thought the shotgun attachment was not very useful, bet they changed their opinion now, throw some bird shot in it and you are safe from drones
I was in the infantry in the 80's carried an M16A1 and was glad I did not have a M203 attached. Fun to shoot, butpain in the butt to sling all the time.
Intrusive thought of the day. I want to see a world champion trap or skeet shooter going after clays with the M16 with the under sling 870 specifically with the 870.
Fun Fact: 37mm Launchers are NOT Destructive Devices, and can be purchased without any licensing or extra paperwork! Ammo can be made with a 3D printer, FFFG Black Powder, and Shotgun primers. They can also shoot small firework mortars! Check your local/state/federal laws for ammunition compliance so you don't accidentally create ammunition that would be considered a DD.
It’s just under the 1.5in rule. They sell them at Brownell’s and many other places. It’s the ammo that’s illegal. Projectile weight and type and propellant types are regulated. Only thing legal really is wimpy flares. Some places sell those but it’s not worth it.
My design, all the recoil stress was transferred to the steel AR barrel nut just like the GI M203, you have the weight of both weapons, combined, then the flexible human body behind it. Its not like placing the rifle butt against a tree to fire it, which would put all the stress on the AR front pivot pin.
I like the shotgun! I like the 203 too but I can’t afford to feed one. What I really want is the shotgun mount on my crossbow for hunting in bear country.
Holy crap...I did not know a shotgun could be mounted underneath the way a grenade launcher could... Now I'm on a mission to mount a PCC underneath an AR

Back before 9/11 I was selling my hard coat anodized 7075 aluminum bracket for $135 with the GI M203 front bracket and bushings. The enduser could go buy a 2nd hand Rem 870 from their pawn shop, file a Form 1 to SBS it, or put an 18in barrel on it as Title 1. Drill and tap the top of the Rem 870 receiver, apply 4 #10-32 allen screws with blue Loctite.
Dutch and Billy from "Predator" want their guns back, guys.
Best comment I’ve read all month
The guns were the only recovered… No bodies.
I have been a fan of predator since 87. I recognized those IMMEDIATELY!

Nothing more badass than attaching a gun to your gun effectively.
Good ol' Delta Force 2! I remember getting the demo from a PC Gamer disk back in 1999. I must have played that desert level 100 times!
Had it too…parachute in and go
Same! Then a few years later I bought the box set that had 1, 2 and land warrior
Duuuuuuude yes this brings back so many memories. Game had really good AI for the day, too. Every run would have some variation to it

I would be extremely interested in something like that, sir. The Wilson mount is impossible to locate.
Something about a M203 that makes you all warm and fuzzy.
I carried a M16-A2 with a M203 40mm grenade launcher when I was in the Marine Corps.
Yet they don’t trust these in your hands once you become a civi
Props to black ops 1 for including these attachments in the game
Carried a 203 for a long time...love that weapon.....definitely my choice on point...good video guys
The master key was my favourite rifle in that game. Love the style
I played that game too, Black Hawk Down : Delta Force. Incredible og reference
That Delta Force video game (from 1998) was legit
*VERY* cool stuff. Thanks to you and Rock Island Auctions for sharing!
I recall back in the late 70's to mid 80's there were ads in Shotgun News selling the adapter for mounting an 870 under an AR15.
The Wilson mount is impossible to find and Knight’s only sells the whole Master Key with the tax stamp short barrel shotgun.
I remember the M16 with a shotgun from Predator!
Both of these were on Predator.
@@andrewstoll4548 well it was a rubber Mossberg 500
Billy got the Shotgun and Dutch the 203
brooooo😃 Delta Force was my jam back in the day I had every single one up to DF black hawk down.
I've seen these in the Predator (film)!!!
"Mine's as big as a HOUSE!"
See, she wanted a little one cuz hers was…… 😐
Next up: “Old Painless” backpack mini-gun and matched set of MP-5s?
Look up Predator: The Musical if you havent. its wonderful.
Shotgun mounted to M16 would useful against attack drones.

that AR-15 + Wilson Shotgun combo looks better than the SP1 with rubber Mossberg 500 in predator
Delta Force 2 from 1999... And I've wanted one since.
Is this what's attached to Billy's M16 in Predator?
No predator references?
I know. It's like why even watch then. 🤣🤣🤣

The Delta Force video game is from 1998, I still have the CD-ROM at home.
Carried a master key for a while. It was heavy and awkward.

I would sell my ex wifes soul for these
Ex-wives don't have souls.

I’ll wait for the crossbow version….or a Gatling gun mounted underneath complete with hand crank.
you can always take a TAC-15 Crossbow and bolt a Tippmann 9mm gatling gun under it.
Hope springs eternal.
I thought that shotgun mod was so cool as a kid. Too bad it's not very practical unless you're opening locked doors.
If you could just send those to my local FFL... that would be great...
Carried the M-203 on the DMZ in Korea 1985…old 11BRAVO
When you grow up on Legos and Erector sets, this is what you upgrade to.
I would also wonder how long a master key holds up on the rifle.
This isn’t a master key this is a Wilson combat 870

Would that 870/M16A1 be allowed in a 3-gun match? 🤔
When you will be showing the underbarrell Chainsaw?
can you mount the m203 under the shotgun under the ar? 😅
So where do you get the kit to attach the shot gun?

Can I get one of the 870 mounts for my A.R. 15 from Brownell's I really need one really bad
The mounts are online.
Just out of curiosity, would a full auto MG plus an attached DD require two tax stamps? Asking for a friend.
Indeed. Two NFA receivers, two NFA stamps. Frustrating, I know.
@@ChrisB.C. /// IT'D STILL BE WORTH IT !!!!!!.....ONE BADASS WEAPON !!!!!!!

wonder why they didnt just make a newer master key instead of going with the current issued m26
ARC 9 Battalion & ARC 12 Vanguard (into the dead 2). . . 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Do you have to buy 2 tax stamps for the M16 with the underbarrel shotgun?
Just 1 for the ar lower
That’s a short barreled shotgun, so he needs a stamp for that as well.
The fact that this entire video isn’t a full blown Predator reference is highly disappointing…
They probably just didnt have the time (to bleed).

SBS.
