Wow. That was absolutely beautiful and amazing.. praise The Lord!!! This gave me hope, guidance, and a roadmap on how to raise my children up in the Word of God. I was raised a Jew and have come to find Christ and I believe he IS the Messiah promised in the Old Testament. Praise The Lord!
This really opened my eyes as a young man in Christ. I have to strive to be a leader for my future family, I have to be educated in the scripture, I have to be on fire for the Lord. So that I may teach my future children to be godly children.
What about Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
Wonderful teaching. The western church has gone so far off the rails. I’m praying God is merciful to us but we do deserve judgement and refining. I believe family worship & biblical preaching is coming back though & we will see revival of the truly biblical kind. This was very convicting 🙏🏻
I've only recently realized, 72 years into this thing called life, that my vulnerability to evil influences throughout my life, was a thing missing from my childhood. That something has a name, and it is "Family Worship". I never even heard of it. Can't recall a minister ever mentioning it. Because I "doubted God's existence" and the divinity of Jesus I wandered just about every path Satan provided searching for truth. Thank you for this video.
I have to agree with you. My family was marginally religious and I only ever remember going to church a handful of times as a child, let alone any kind of family worship. Due to this I ended up growing up as an Atheist most of my life. Now as a new Christian, I have those same vulnerabilities to evil influences due to not having that proper foundation (to borrow a concept from AIG). I first of heard of Ken Ham and AIG through watching Religulous - of course at the time I did not think highly of him. However, god used that to guide me to an amazing ministry - I have found the scientific work done here fascinating and have had some luck substituting evil influences with binging many AIG videos.
Great teaching and encouragement! I agree, family Bible study has helped me to share many things with my children, namely the gospel. Daily proverbs reading and explaining it to them has blessed my wife and I too. Although, I’m not a fan of nonbelievers leading a prayer (Prov. 15:26,29; 28:9, etc), I do encourage nonbelievers to pray for repentance and faith (2 Tim. 2:24, etc). Soli Deo Gloria
If I"m the only Christian in my family. Aren't I the only one? I'm an unmarried woman still leaving with my pre-believing parent... What am I to do? There isn't anyone else in my family who shares my belief!
"But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth." 1 Timothy 3:15 Maybe if you mediated on this verse every day, you would want to find the true church.
This is not negative about this channel - but i did want to bring the point NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED - about corporate church in general . - "the church" really messed up by not supporting the people when they decided not to take the vaccine. why did the church stand against its own members? there are some exceptions but not many. the church stood idly by while the government forced its way on the people. - The membership would have exploded during that time- if they would have given safe harbour to a new generations of seekers. - but now your religion keeps going down the track downward to 0 members. - who believes in a church that watches the government do what it just did? what good is church if not to defend the innocent? don't give me that Jesus would have taken the vaccine because Jesus would not have forced his way into anyone. The West ,western religion, and Holy spirit do not promote family worship at the cross of government tyranny.
So I'm not yet a parent. But my family has never done family worship and my family members are strong in the faith or even practicing their faith. I'm a child but am I still called to lead family worship?
How do you read to your family if none of them wants to hear? Not every family is like yours. What should a man do when his family could care less about hearing God's word read to them?
I want to let you know brother that I hear your struggles. The best thing you can do is first make the Lord a priority in your own life. Set an example by reading the Bible on your own, do certain things and abstain from others and explain you are doing it to honor Christ because of what it says in his word. Say you are going to do family worship, and if no one shows then spend the time in prayer to God. Understand that you are just one man, and that God only cares about your obedience. The results are up to him.
Amen brother. I need to make Lord Jesus my number one. I have been too caught up in errands and worldly tasks, but I need to prioritize my relationship with God. As Lord Jesus says in Revelation: Revelation 2:4-5 NKJV [4] Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. [5] Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place-unless you repent.

I don't see where Jeremiah says God will pour out wrath on families who don't pray together. The speaker should at least provide the scripture to support a statement which quotes God.
I am not sure it implies the context that he is attributing to it but what he is saying in general in this message is true that as a whole daily, continually rehearsing Gods Word and works to/with your family will strengthen the faith of the family and thus the Assembly as a whole.
While I agree that it is a good thing to pray and learn God's teachings as a family, but it is a stretch to say an entire family will suffer God's wrath if they don't adhere to the advice. To add to scripture is a sin we ahould all avoid, and the context was definitely different as you said.
My point exactly. He sounds like typical self help guru. Never mentions Jesus and sin and repentance. No scripture from the King James Bible. These types is why I quit going to church in the first place. Borderline Osteens.
That is a rampant problem. People are trying to replicate themselves rather than Lord Jesus. What is the motive? If someone starts talking more about themselves when they are supposed to glorify God, then that someone needs to examine his/herself. In this case, I have heard more about this man's dad and family traditions than God's word.
23:8But do not you be called Rabbi; For one is your teacher, and you are all brothers. 23:9And call no man your father on the earth, for one is your heavenly Father. 23:10Neither be called leaders, for one is your leader, the Christ. Don't do like the puritans who were sinners - "do like the puritans" is far too short of the standard. Instead, do like Lord Jesus. John 13:14-17 NKJV [14] If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. [15] For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. [16] Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.
