my prayer is that you do not stop at proving there is god but move on to learn and live his way. he created the entire universe and all that is in them. you may have noticed the entire universe is run by laws. this is to make them sustain life on earth. the word (law) of god sustains our souls, keep us from making irreparable mistakes.

I once asked an Atheist a question about evolution and sexual organs and her first sentence was "Well scientists havent yet discovered it". I replied "That's like when Bible believers say "God says it, that settles it". She didnt like my saying that to her. I also told her about the difference between anisotropic gems and isotropic gems, how scientist only discovered the difference in the last 10 years, which she found quite interesting, Then i said, the 12 gems on the Aaronic priests breastplate had only anisotropic gems, not any isotropic gem among them, and that was about 2500 years ago, when they didnt have any instruments to slice these gems to discover that the isotropic gems, when light is shone though them (a diamond is isotropic), dont produce anything but a dark shadowy black. Whereas, every anisotropic gem, when sliced thin, and has light shone through it, well, the light shines through and produces brilliant colorful and patterns. She could see what I was getting at...and didnt like hearing about it. No one like to have cherished beliefs 'tested'. No one. For different reasons. Arrogance has been the death of science. @Mario_Sky_521 - Paul talked about Christ 300-ish years after Christ’s life. Metaphysically, I can conceive of a non -local region of spacetime where thought is the prime mover and consciousness is the overriding structure that makes such non-locality possible. However, there is no reason for me to believe in the Christian narrative, regardless of the type of Christianity.
I think where we hoped more evidence would have been provided at the debate is because both camps are talking past each other with their presuppositions. And Answers in Genesis has been a great source of evidence for the Bible and Christianity. God bless you Mr. Ken Ham ; even you lecture often that we are dealing with a “Greek” and not “Hebrew” minded society. And what did Paul do in those times; he quoted their prophets and poets he cited evidence that they would know that our GOD is real and the Bible was true. Then he opened the scripture to them.
In my eyes, Paul had a problem with Greco-Roman customs and traditions. This is why there is so much vilification by some Christian’s of LGBTQIA+ People. Paul was one person claiming to have had a religious experience with Jesus on the Damascus highway. One person, traveling alone, under who knows what circumstances of hunger, thirst, or other influences. Too much emphasis on one person, 300 years after Christ. Too much time for any reasonably accurate continuity.
@ If you are claiming that Paul was doing things by his own authority and opinion you are entirely wrong. He was at the First Church council and abided by their ruling. He testified later that he laid the entire gospel he was preaching out before the apostles and James the brother of Jesus and they gave him the two thumbs up. Peter calls Paul’s writings scripture. And as for where He got his theology (besides the risen Christ for which there are witnesses besides himself) he lifts it directly from the existing scripture the TaNaKH (the Law; the Prophets; and the Writings) the issue of Gender rolls; Homosexual and aberrant sexual behavior was settled long before the New Testament came along And finally you greatly misrepresented the facts about Paul’s conversion; makes me wonder if it was purposeful. For the record: Paul was persecuting the church the year that Jesus ascended into Heaven. Shortly thereafter he headed to Damascus with an entourage probably a contingent of soldiers and representatives from the Chief Priests there wasn’t any lone man thirsty starving wilderness fever dream.

If I were establishing a “right way of thinking”-for me-I would read all the available literature-including the Abrahamic Epics-related to thought, and the human condition. I’d include all the works of Plato and Aristotle, ancient and contemporary works on philosophy and existential volumes. This would take a decade or so, unless I could read and incorporate the information efficiently and quickly. I would want to pay close attention to the latest and newest understandings in all fields of thought, science, and technology. Consciousness theories would play highly in my studies. However, I would certainly not choose only one book-The Bible-to act as a Reference for the rest. I am, after all, able to think for myself, and to realize the differences between literal occurrence, and allegorical meter. I am not afraid to learn truth. And I am positive that AIG’s version of Everything is far from it! I’ll stick to the secular sciences for natural world explanations. Anything that seems outside that realm will be scrutinized through that lens, first, then other areas will be hypothesized where a naturalistic explanation is not readily available.
@TheCustodian10000 I agree. But that's what I was doing as an atheist. Opening myself up to all evidence and all conclusions is what finally led me to the truth. I didn't realize how anti-science I really had become, because I discounted anything that could be attributed to God. Ultimately, our biases will always influence our perspectives. But since choosing God, everything makes more sense. I prefer a world view built on a creator than a world view built on chasing unknown pleasure. The latter didn't work, not really. @ Same for you. Both Atheism and Christianity are faith based and cannot be absolutely proven as fact. There is evidence for both but the rest is left to faith and interpretation.
@m0nk3yg Incorrect my friend. Atheism is the assertion that there's no reason to believe in god. That's it. There's no faith required to not believe in something that can't be shown to be true. There's zero evidence for Christianity. If there was, there'd be no conversation to be had. All you have is one collection of stories from thousands of years ago from the Middle East from people who believed fairytales and magic were real.
@ Yes by definition, but the Atheist is still required to have a worldview and that worldview needs faith for again, there is not evidence to prove any one worldview to be correct. We all have and need to have faith in something whether we like it or not. Again, there is evidence. Just not enough to prove it to be true or not true. But this discussion will go nowhere. I wish you the best and hope that one day God will soften your heart.
At 5:18, I am disagreeing with Ken Ham on two issues. We can certainly trace the Four Rivers. It's just that Pre-Flood Euphrates ran the opposite direction, and all the way to Alaska. Pre-Flood Hiddekel (not quite the same as Tigris) ran the opposite way of Tigris and all the way to North East Siberia. Pre-Flood White and Blue Nile also ran opposite directions, all the way to ... basically Cape Horn and Hobart. And Eden was East of where Adam was created and buried, that being in Jerusalem coordinates. So, further East in the Holy Land or in Jordan. And the Jordan need not have run the other way, but it ran into four rivers I have named.

Great question. Unfortunately, this was not a lecture on that topic. There are extensive locations where one could learn what you desire. However, and forgive me if I'm too bold here, I am guessing by your question that you lean toward continual skepticism. Ie. No proof would be seen as proof. Prior to cameras, no one could prove any person or thing actually existed unless some part of it was still observable at that moment. We even argue that photos are faked; think the loch Ness monster photos or the moon landing. ( I'm not arguing for this, just observing the argument) So no one can truly know something unless they have experienced it. This includes taking someone elses experience or research and accepting it as fact. That is faith unless you have observed it yourself. Everything is a game of faith. Until one searches the scriptures with an open heart ready to learn from God, you can't conclusively prove it scientifically. When you uncover the power and truth in it and experience it, you will 100% determine it to be. But it won't open up if you don't read it with God. Just like DNA wouldn't open up to you without a powerful microscope. I have learned that skeptics live to be skeptics. No historical proof, archeological proof, coincidences, scientific proof will sway their minds. Just consider your own belief structure and determine how much have you observed and how much you take on the faith of others words.

@throckmortensnivel2850 Yes, that is a great question. One of Satan's main attacks since the beginning has been against God's Word. That's not to say you can't get a similar message from other Bibles, but if I want to know exactly what God said, that is where I would go. To present all the proof for this text would take hours and can't be done on RUclips. However, God promised He would preserve His Word in Psalms 12, and this is where it currently is. Yes, the OT was written in paleo-hebrew and the NT in koine-greek. When God saw fit to form the OT and NT into one complete book for the world, he put it in English at the absolute height of the English language. This was just at the beginning of the ascent of England as the empire that the sun would never set on. Then i said, the 12 gems on the Aaronic priests breastplate had only anisotropic gems, not any isotropic gem among them, and that was about 2500 years ago, when they didnt have any instruments to slice these gems to discover that the isotropic gems, when light is shone though them (a diamond is isotropic), dont produce anything but a dark shadowy black. Whereas, every anisotropic gem, when sliced thin, and has light shone through it, well, the light shines through and produces brilliant colorful and patterns.

And as for where He got his theology (besides the risen Christ for which there are witnesses besides himself) he lifts it directly from the existing scripture the TaNaKH (the Law; the Prophets; and the Writings) the issue of Gender rolls; Homosexual and aberrant sexual behavior was settled long before the New Testament came along
And finally you greatly misrepresented the facts about Paul’s conversion; makes me wonder if it was purposeful.

So you can’t have prehistoric animals because Genesis recorded the beginning of time? Prove that genesis is a historical book.
There are two different pieces of evidence that I like to point to in Genesis, which are Genesis 1:6-8 and 7:11.
1:6-8 describes a vault or firmament that separates the "water above from the water below". If you remember science class, you know that clouds are made of water, and that there is a layer of atmosphere that separates them from the earth. Now, if you're a Jewish sheep herder who has never been in science class, how would you have any concept of what an atmosphere is, or even be entirely sure that clouds are made of water and don't just create water when it rains?
Genesis 7:11 describes "the fountains of the deep", which at first seems like the writer completely made up some primordial water reservoir to flood the whole earth, except that there are in fact oceans under the earth's crust. Again, how would these sheep herders know anything about that?

The best four English bibles are the KJV, ESV, NASB, and NKJV. Personally I use the ESV and KJV side by side with a concordance and bible dictionary. I still recommend reading the Bible like you would read any other book. Cover to cover. Pick certain topics to study on the side at the same time. I recommend you starting with Mathew and John, then Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, then revelation then go from there.

Mm, Truly. If you did not present the Gospel, there would be no change if he sees your points in a different light or not.
A world view does not equal to a religion.
Atheism is not a religion. Atheism = not believing in a deity (full stop). There is also no "faith" involved. you start from observable, empirical, reproducible, measurable evidence.
You are telling these people incorrect information over and over again. Such a god does not have any power but the power given by People who believe in him. Even if he is a fantasy.
Atheism requires blind faith. A reasonable faith acknowledges a law maker behind the laws of nature that science discovers. To say order came from kaos is to hold to a religion without reason.
@ulrichkuhlmann5459 atheism is not a religion nor does it require any faith. You claim that a "creator or law maker" exist, you have to demonstrate your claim.
You do not understand what qualifies as a religion. Atheism can be a secular religion as well.
@@davidpiot8098What you thinking. Science as a method is based on pressuppostions as well. These involve a commitment of belief. This is commonly accepted. Your definition of religion is too narrow. A religion can be an ideological belief system. It's contradictory to say it does not.
@@pierrelabounty9917a religion is the belief in and worship of a superhuman power or powers, especially a God or gods. That is what most People accept as a defenition of religion. atheism is the rejection of all religious belief.

The third time the title has changed. At least they dropped the lie that the video was about dinosaurs.
Thank you again❤️
For what?
How do you know it's God's word? Before you can call it God's word, you have to show that it is God's word. Your belief as an individual is not evidence.
( I'm not arguing for this, just observing the argument)
So no one can truly know something unless they have experienced it.

Yes, that is a great question. One of Satan's main attacks since the beginning has been against God's Word. It is no wonder that he would continue this assault into the modern age.
The short answer is that the King James Bible is the inerrant and perfectly preserved Word of God.
For the next 400 yrs of human history, English would be the predominant language of the world for all international business and trade.
Can God put it in a new language in the future? He sure can, and only He knows if He will.

[20] First, you must understand this: No prophecy in Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation. [21] No prophecy ever originated from humans. Instead, it was given by the Holy Spirit as humans spoke under God’s direction.
Any time someone says anything regarding spirituality, you MUST make sure it aligns with what the Word of God says. It's objective truth and if you have two differing views and a topic, at least one of them are most certainly wrong.
Amazing teaching by these people believing in fairytails, we learned to think elsewhere!
Stop trying to punch holes in evolution by avoiding the evidence that supports it and try writing papers with reviewed evidence that supports creation. But can't because it doesn't exist. All you have is "God did it". That is an opinion, not evidence.

I already posted something about this, but seriously, young Earth creationists always say everyone has the same evidence.. why? Why do they say this? I'm pretty sure most young Earth creationists do not work in genetics, geology, or other specialized fields, so why do they always say they have the same evidence? You really do need to work in geology to be able to draw any conclusions from that field, the same with biology and other fields, so what's up with this weird claim about having the same evidence?

We all have the same information, it’s a matter of interpretation. Some people think 1+1=2. Other people think 1+1=47,216. There’s no objective truth, just whatever you want to believe.
There is evidence and there is logic. Science use them. "What you want to believe" is faith. I agree the difference is profound.
@@jockyoung4491 there is evidence of lots of things that are not true. That is a large reason we have courts. What I "want to believe" is truth. The problem many people have is that our Creator has spoken the truth AND explained that he glories in fooling the wise. The same God who designed DNA for every living creature, also designed creation to allow anyone who wants to deny God to have a path to follow to their own end.
