Looks much better BJ Clark done a great job filming and I like the sparkle through the blue paint really nice, 30 miles to the gallon hopefully it’s a big tank lol lovely truck mate wish you all the best with it take care 👍👌🔧🔧🔧❤️
A buddy that works at ford drives a V6 4WD and it’s lowered on bags and looks great. He does some paint stuffs. Truck looks great. I can’t wait to see yours in person.
I like it better! Since these are a progressive spring rate the initial harshness over bumps is decreased and more comfortable. It's still firm like it should be but noticeably better over bumps
I want to do this but I'm worried on how it affects the ride. Do you bottom out with passengers? Does the suspension still have enough play for a smooth ride? Thanks
No worries on bottoming out under normal driving. The ride is better than factory in my opinion due to the progressive rate spring. It's less harsh over bumps but still firm like it should be
With camber bolts you should be fine at any alignment shop. If you are awd the rear won't be in spec. A different control arm would take care of that but otherwise just rotate tires more often
Looks great. If hou dont mind, what jacking points did you use in the front? And where did you place the jack stands? I thought you could only use the pinch welds.
I just used the main suspension crossmember. Jack stands were near the control arm mounts again on the subframe/crossmember. Jack/place stands how you see fit on yours
Looks great! Thanks for showing the work, and all the "before & after" shots. This is definitely the first mod I want for my 3 week old Maverick, glad that it is in stock and relatively easy to install. I saw my first lowered Maverick "in the flesh" yesterday & had to follow it around until they parked to ask about it. I guess I'm like pickering, I looked these springs up on the Eibach site, and read the "instructions", a 2 page .pdf, half of which was a diagram for trimming the bumpstops. They mentioned regular tire rotation but not why tire wear increases, guess more research and learning about suspensions is on my plate now that I will be doing this.
I have wheels for it already but haven't put them on. For a daily it sits how I like. They definitely looks great another inch lower but thats much more work
I’m glad I was able to film this for him
The legend himself!! My best cameraman so far!
the truck looks awesome..and i dig that color..tell the Lad he did a good job on the camera work..
Thank ya!
Looks awesome dude! The Maverick vids are making me want one
Thank ya! I've really enjoyed this truck so far
Much improved! Love it!
🤘
Good jobs guys! Looks nice
Thank ya!
I honestly cannot think of a reason to NOT drop a front wheel drive pickup.
Rough country has a 2" lift kit, they look good lifted too.

It has 400 miles of range which is great! Substantially less monthly fuel cost than the F150. Like a car payments worth.
@@tangentsbhb good stuff BJ over here in Scotland I pay £1.54 a litre for diesel can be quite expensive if doing a lot of miles lol
alignment how much off????
Up front the camber bolts got it back to factory spec. In back it may have up to a degree of extra camber.
Lookin good!!
Thank ya!

An f150 or something else?
@@tangentsbhb sorry, I guess I forgot to fill in the blank. An F150 that he has a part in making.
Lowered F150 look damn good
You need to hire Clark! Great job dude!
For sure! He wanted to help and asked if he could film and did great!
Whats the benefit lowering?
Looks better, more comfortable to get in and out of. Rides better with these springs too
@@tangentsbhb Got it. I have the 2024 tremor I was just curious.
why did you take the calipers off?
Well to undo the struts and lower them would put a lot of strain on the brake lines. We removed them to avoid damage
Need to know if I can add a bigger gas tank to my 24 maverick XL or add one in the bed
I believe the tanks for the ecoboost are larger (16.5 gal?) than the hybrid tank, but may not mount to a hybrid.
Looks good! How’s the ride compared to stock?

@@tangentsbhbsweet thanks. I saw in another video someone mentioned tires rubber on the inner. Nothing like that right? Thanks again
Wondering if this voids factory warranty??
For something to void the warranty it has to be proven that the change had a direct link to the item that failed. You are safe
Mpg better or ?
It seems very equal and if anything it's maybe .05% better. Very hard to get a perfect A/B test
I’m getting ready to do this to mine, did you have any issues with getting it aligned afterwards?

It definitely makes more sense to lower it, I think it looks awesome, although I like red more than blue. Lol
The hot pepper red on these trucks is 🔥 but im not a red guy. Looks amazing though
Understandable, both are still better than boring silver, and oven black. Lol
Looks great!!! Planning to do this to my Maverick. At some point you where supposed to cut the bump stops did you?
I haven't cut mine and wasn't aware I needed to actually. I'll inspect them tomorrow
In the instructions I read online they tell you to cut them in half.
I never even knew there were instructions lol

Just for looks good?
Yes
Yup!! Amazing the difference in the stance & look now, Real Nice. How does the height difference change the ride, if at all??
😉🏴🤘🙏
The ride is actually better as the springs are progressive so not as harsh over bumps!
I like it but it needs to be lower.
It would look cooler lower but that gets into coil over territory with further modifications. Lots more work and cost
wheels and tires now....still to high....
