Sold my 2013 XL F150 and got the 2024 Maverick lariat with the tremor package in shadow black. I’m absolutely loving this truck and highly recommend it! 👍
Excellent video--I just picked up a 24 FX4 Maverick, and I am loving it so far, especially the ecoboost engine and the gas mpg's. Keep up the good work. Liked and subbed!
A pickup truck is a vehicle designed to "pickup" and transport goods that don't require a 5 ton truck. Having a separated body and frame is not the definition of a truck. It is just the public perception of what a truck is. The Maverick has higher payload than my 2008 and 2012 Ranger and 300 pounds more than my 2018 F150. The Maverick is a very nice "truck" for people that don't need or want a 5500-6000lb land yacht that they only use as truck 3 times a year. The Maverick has a stout frame that is welded to and part of the body instead of being the floppy rubber mounted cab set up of the body on frame system. There is a reason that great handling cars are unit body. Don't get me wrong. I loved both my Ford Rangers and all three of my F150s but the Maverick is much easier to live with for 99% of my use. It is a long overdue addition to the truck market.
I just bought the same exact one. I had it for about a month and it’s a great truck. I just don’t like the steel wheels and eventually will change the wheels and tires. I got a tri fold tonneau cover. The all weather floor mats and I had the front widows tinted to match the rest. The blackout emblems taillight covers and the 3rd brake light tinted cover. I like the turbo and the AWD. I would recommend this truck.
I have a 2024 Maverick XL with the turbo engine. It rides and handles very good. It is averaging around 29 miles per gallon. I think it is a great truck. My truck is the front wheel drive. I think the XL is the best value.
I just bought that exact same truck and color. I was looking for a pickup to replace a 2007 Ranger that I sold and this does that and so much more, 2-3 more mpg, awd and 100 extra hp.
FORD, where is the small cab 6' bed Maverick? A bed rated for weights up to 1500 lbs, thats only 4.5' long is Bizarre. This vehicle would be perfect if they offered a bed option long enough to camp/sleep in under a campershell. Great review and thankyou for your thoughts.
I finally got my 2024 XL Hybrid after waiting 14 months....On the highway it averages 35 or 36 mpg, in town around 50.....I.think the power is adequate for what it is....
Have same truck cactus spider grey 2.0 Ecoboost with AWD 1500 lb pay load 4000 lb tow package 8 speed transmission I went to the dealer for a F150 but prices were ridiculous the sales person showed me this truck for 26000 dollars it was no brainer I use it for wood pellets garden stuff just what would I use a F150 for as a retired person it's a great fit
I was considering this, along with the Santa Cruz but in the end, said no. I ended up buying a new Subaru outback and a used Chevy Colorado. I want my bed length to be at least 6 foot long.

And…. Two bottle openers on the tailgate!!!
I really want one of these. A great daily driver than you can use to haul every once in a while is exactly what I need.

Nice truck, but id be replacing those rims.
I agree. I would have them painted gloss black.
