- I ride the Honda CB 650R which is a 650cc super bike from Honda which is a four cylinder engine that produces 87ps of power and 57.5Nm of torque I ride this bike in traffic, open roads and highways and give you my impressions what I feel about the Honda CB 650R.
I just love your way of reviews as there are some youngsters who don't ride like a maniac and drive comfortably. The automotive journalist mostly review a vehicle over its power and capabilities to bend on corners but you genuinely focus on daily experiences that a person want. Not all youngster want to race or do 100+ speed there are some who like to enjoy the ride and your review shows that side. 👌
Those automotive journalists who push these machines to their capabilities on public road are a really bad influence over kids.
i do drive around 20-50km mark depending upon situations
@@deepanshyadav02 you really need to up your knowledge about auto journalist reviewing the bikes. And most of the auto journalist like serious auto journalist not moto vloggers choose location outside the city to review it.
@@divyeshpatel1539 roads outside the city are still public dear halfwit. I can see shit tons of traffic in their videos where they drive like third copies of schumacher and the likes

That thing should do more than 100kph in the first gear. It revs cleanly all the way to the redline. The power is useable. The two problems i have is the price and the vibrations. But i feel that it is such a lovely bike.
It should but the vibrations were just too much at the higher revs that's why I shifted to 2nd gear while pulling.
@@GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs Oh i totally understand that. For a Honda, that thing vibrates a lot. Have you tried the cb500x?

@@deepanshyadav02 there is vibes at 6K-8K rpm but its just some buzzing, not high vibration. and its again smooth after 8K to all the way redline. its not because service due. i rode CB650R and CBR650R. both are buzzy between those rpms.
@@GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs it is having inline 4 engine, as we know basic nature of the engine is they will not have so much Torque in low rpm range. So, as this bike engine red lines at 12,000 rpm, 6000 rpm shall be transition zone. I think around 6000-7000 rpm is not advisable to drive regularly and also honda claims max Torque after 8000 rpm. so, 8000-12000 is max Torque zone which should result in pure adrenaline rush due to wild pulling

I was a car enthusiast before watching your vlogs/reviews. The reason for it is that cars are easier to remember, cause the designs are distinct, and there is room for changes besides the way it drives. In a bike, honestly it is tough for a new person to understand things from a spec sheet. Now I am really interested in bikes and am planning a bike purchase soon
Yeah that's the ideal way to do...... but trust me Biking is a expensive hobby, you will soon get the temptation to upgrade your bike :) BTW don't forget to buy proper riding gear before you start riding on the bike.

Don't go with a second hand R.E , I have friends and family members who got an second hand r.e and faced alot of issues . Now almost everyone sold their r.e.
@@paduchurivamshi6826 can you tell what are those problems…is it because of buying a wrong one at the time of purchase? Would you say buying second hand bikes of other brands is good but not RE?

My friend bought a used thunderbird at 5.5k kilometres, now the bike's self motor isn't functioning well, it cranks up just occasionally, fork oil is leaking, front brake gets spongy too often, fuel meter isn't functioning properly, abnormal sounds near tank at 2k to 3k rpm . It lives in service center more than at his house.
2. My cousin got a r.e classic 2n hand and sold it within one year, it tilts to left side, weird engine noises, and many more issues.
Push rod r.e are highly unreliable, latest j platform engines are far better, im not against 2nd hand bikes, im jus sharing the experience .

Cb 650r and cbr 650r both are my favorite motorcycles.

Man the Honda tax is just too much with this one.
I mean 10lakh+ for basically 650cc is too high.
There are really decent 650 bikes for less and this is in the territory of 900cc monster bikes.
Honda is like Apple iPhones in terms of pricing their bikes in India, that's what I have noticed :)

This is such a nice motorbike! It's just a shame that it's been priced so high in India - Abroad, it costs as much as the Trident, whereas over here, you can buy a Kawasaki Z900 for slightly less! 😅

Hi Ranjith - Do test the Kawasaki Z650 RS. You will love it and it and it has a better pillion seat. It will check all your preferences except for the price. However, it is cheaper than the Honda CB 650R

Then how come bikes like Honda CB Hness, Interceptor 650 etc have way better horns, it's cost cutting that they are doing.

@@GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs Ranjit sir, actually I've noticed that all of RE's bikes and some roadsters of other brands have dual horns to match their laid-back yet commanding personality, whereas streetfighters get a simple sounding horn that just don't match their mean looks. That's the case with the MT-15 as well

Hey Ranjit, A Honda is a Honda is a Honda is a Honda... If you want to buy a 650cc ish motorcycle, buy the CB650R. Honda reliability and refinement is far ahead of Triumph.
A honda that vibrates at 5000 rpm? Yeah definitely better than triumph. You're getting trident displacement at street triple money
When you were riding around at very low rpm, did you feel any vibrations like a grinding kind of feeling? I bought a brand new 2022 model about 3 weeks ago and I love it but I have noticed that at low rpm (less than 3,000rpm) there’s a grinding feeling. I feel like the motor doesn’t like it and I assume that it’s “lugging”. Do you get this feeling?

Sir, before purchasing a new bike, make sure you have pillion also sitting with you for test ride. That is most important for a pillion as well. Run the poll in twitter and list out the bikes that you are going to purchase?
Honda refinement is top notch grade
Honda premium bikes are good but their pricing will not justify their machines in this range u can try Ducati scrambler 800 nd triumph Bonneville series nd Kawasaki z900,Ninja 650 as well b/w i know u r testing 600cc bikes but at this price point the options will be wide with Little expansion r reducing the budget 😃

How can you justify this price point for the CB650R when the Trident and the Z900 exist? TL;DR you can't. The Honda tax simply isn't worth it.

after cleaning MAP sensor and checking my oil level- vibrations gone!! - i was searching on google and found this .. dont know what and where is it on the bike...
In this price point its better to buy a Triumph Street twin or Bonnevile T100
both are really different in their character, CB650R is fun only post 8K rpm, also its low end torque is dull. so if you are a guy who enjoys revving to nuts and have a blast, its CB650R for you. at the same time Bonnevilles are torqey in nature and they shines in their low and mid range. bonnevilles are fun in evey gear at any speed. but inline 4 are meant to be revved.
NB: I own a street twin and had an eye on CB650R. still CB650R impress me with its refinement, sound and style. but once am riding, I want the torque rush of bonnies.
This is not how you ride this bike
Just rang it all the way to 10000rpm in 1st and enjoy the inline four symphony . its gets louder when you revv it each gear .

Bro the cb 650r goes upto 110 in the 1st gear, and it can do 200 at 3rd .

What's wrong with the video quality sir? At 1440p on a 4K TV the footage is getting pixelated from 5:15 mins or so.
it can go on highway and it is stable or not and what about the rear view do you have blind spot on this bike
Honda has made a beautifully balanced machine but like always they messed up the pricing at around 10 lacks if you can push 1 lack or so you have the street triple and street triple r which imo are superior machinery than this by some margin.
By some margin? This is a mid spec bike and the triple R is a proper sports machine

Ranjit anna please try CB500 X. Its way too expensive in Indian market but its the best half litre Adv in Indian market, tuning and performance is another level in that bike.

Is it too bulky to ride? Or should i go for z900? Both have same weight on paper but z900 obviously have more power but then i love this design and obviously its honda
CB is compact in size and easy handling unlike bulky Z900
It has killer looks but how about weight issue...I like light weight bike . Not too heavy

Im shocked your saying throttle is more aggressive than the the trident. Trident is a triple cylinder and ideally will have torque down low ,all the way up , the Honda's power band is mid to top range .
Hiiieee Ranjit sir.. i u want to feel perfect Raw power just try to get ride MV Agusta Brutale 800 or 800RR.. it's a very nimble n light weight bike with more power n in Hyderabad there is a showroom for Agusta.. so if u think u can manage it PLZZ try it.. u will love it just for power

We have to agree the fact that these bikes including triumph’s core market is not India and it’s mostly sold in western countries where they don’t need to have big horns unlike India. So they’re equipped with puny horns!

Sir, do consider test riding the Kawasaki z900, it's a powerful bike at a very competitive price.
Instead of jumping in to the bike in the very starting, pls try to show the bike from all angles. Its a beautiful machine but there is only a glimpse of that.

This Honda 650R does not heat that much.... the trident 660 blows a lot more hot air on your left feet after aggressively riding it.
