No, because, and can you believe it, one UK city Lincoln, cancelled their Christmas market for 2023 on the spurious grounds that there might be too many people which in the negative, woke opinion of the city councillors would pose a health and safety risk! You could not make this up!
We visited this weekend, it is a special place and probably my favourite city more so than London where I live. It have a wonderful cultural mix but also quite relaxed (although weekend evenings at the markets are very crowded).
