    Your teaching background makes your channel so much better than the others. Everyone talks about adding value, by inching down, but they don’t really show you. You come up with brilliant ideas, and I have come to the realization, the other Etsy channels are not great at designing. Most of them hit the 2020 incident, they started selling at that time. When they show people how to make a design, their designs are garbage, because they are not great designers. I have a feeling many of them outsource their design work, a which means they are just drop shipping, but they can’t tell us that. If they are making designs, like they show on their channels, I am not so sure they would be as successful as they claim. Your channel shows how to add value, and your design work is usually awesome. 😊

      Thanks Miss Molly! I am glad you like the designs! I was nervous when I first started showing design videos because I was afraid you all would wonder how I make money with my design skills! LOL But then I just leaned into the fact that I am simply sharing was has truly made me so successful! I am so glad you are finding value with these videos! That means the world to me!

      You don’t need some kind of amazing art, t-shirt design is pretty basic. Most new sellers over complicate it and make their designs too busy.

    • @shawnalynn2083
      @shawnalynn2083  10 месяцев назад

      RailinX is right! As long as your design is rooted in research it is worthy of your time! And simple really does sell!

      Whoo hoo! That listing is off to such a great start!!!!! If it is on ads go in and make sure it is not starting to get kicked around with really broad or ill fitting key words like PNG when the item is a shirt. Listings that take off like that can sometimes start eating up ads budget. I hope you get a sale on it super soon!

    ER nurse/flight nurse/EMT/Paramedic/911 dispatch. A lot of times flight nurses were previously ER nurses. Flight nurses also need experience in ICU, peds ER, and PICU. And ER nurses were sometimes previously paramedics (may still have active licensing). 911 dispatch is a very underrated one.. there’s different kinds too. I’m specifically an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, I do not handle PD/Fire.. county does for that one.

    Thank you, Shawna! I know you aren't a school teacher anymore, but you are certainly teaching all of us such valuable advice - we really appreciate your help! In this video, you discuss doubling down on items that customers are favoriting or purchasing. Would you recommend using the same design on different products in the same shop (ie. shirt was favorited = use the same design on a blanket and an ornament too?) OR should we instead spend time on expanding the phrase on that favorited design on more shirts? Thank you in advance!

I had a question...do you have any videos already posted digging deeper into the how to's regarding offering personalized products through POD partners such as Printify? I'm still a bit confused as to how you post a POD personalized product, and then change the design to add the personalization information to the product once an order comes in. I have not had luck finding a resource online that explains it super clearly. I noticed you touched on it a bit in this video and I would love a broader, more detailed explanation of this process if you have one or would consider doing a video on this topic. Thanks! Hi Shawna! Thanks so much for this one! How did you decide to put it on a sweatshirt as opposed to a tshirt? Would you also add a tshirt listing with this design or would you wait to see how it performs first? Also, Printify will add $5 for the sleeve print, correct? That means your sweatshirt would now be more expensive than the other ones in your niche? How do you compete with the lower prices? Do you also add more money for the customization option? Can you please explain how to price when you have additional printing areas? Lastly, I bought your niche calendar and it’s wonderful! Will you be offering any bundling discounts in the future in case we want to buy 2 or more (general, teacher, nurse) at once? Thanks again for all that you do. 💕
