My goodness Abbie, your demeanour has changed so much since these days. Whereas it seemed a little forced then, you look soooo happy in 2021! Keep smiling that lovely smile 🙂
Another beautiful circular walk. Superb scenery and views all around. Lovely film with your usual bouncy commentary. Lovely smiles! Thanks for taking me along, I really enjoyed myself.
Another superb video Abbie. Some wise words there that although quietly spoken speak as powerfully as the glorious mountain scenery. Thanks for sharing and long may you be able to walk wild and share your travels with us all. 👍
Hi Abbie, I've watched lots of your video's, thanks for all the work you put in. I bet the editing takes up lot's of your time. I have been inspired to do more walking thanks to watching you enjoying your walks. We only live about 30 miles from the Southern part of the lake District so I can pick good weather and enjoy the mountains. Keep it up and thanks again
Really enjoyed your walk Abbie. I really feel your videos will give people the confidence and encouragement to go out there and do walks like you do on their own, particularly the ladies out there because having company is not always possible.
Hey there Abbie another superb post filled with unbelievable views and great commentary ! You appear to have been extraordinarily lucky with the weather again(all the better for us to enjoy those views). One thing that stood out more than ever on this film was how those dusty white paths wriggled off into the distance giving a real sense of depth in the landscape, absolutely lovely! It must be very tough to drag yourself away from such a magical place, but then I suppose you must have to rest your knees (and shoulder of course) at some point ?! Thanks again for sharing!
Very true! It is so hard to capture the real scale of the pace and the vastness of the views. I do my best though! Thanks for watching - see you on the trail!
Love your videos....your constant smile when out in the hills says it all....you (as well as others) have already inspired me to get back out there regularly and walking/camping on my own is proving hugely rewarding and mentally relaxing. One day I’ll book onto one of your walks! Thanks for the videos!
Grisedale Pike is a tough walk if you're not reasonably fit. I went up last year two weeks after doing Great End from Seathwaite , and I found the longer and higher Great End walk much easier by far. Griesdale Pike is a relentless grind .
Nice walk Abbie. Staying near Braithwaite this summer so will do this or the Coledale Round. I know what you mean about belonging in the mountains. Sadly I live far from them for now.
Great video, looking at doing Hopegill head via Ladyside pike and then on to Grasmoor sometime this year. I've heard you face a bit of a steep crag on that route and you have to climb through a 'notch' of some sort.
Hey Abbie, very nice video with some great views. Looks like a lot of fun. One of these days you’ll have to take up trekking poles and save those knees.
Looks like a really lovely, quiet loop Abbie, the kind that appeals to me ;) I even enjoyed The Old Man the other week, via Walna Scar and Dow Crag. Mid-week, so quiet with perfect May weather. Descended via the quarry where it was naturally busier, but not by much. I can't wait to get back to the Lakes :)
Another beautiful landscape. Am amazed at how many ferns line he route and how tall they are. Perhaps one day, the government will replant trees to the tops of the mountains and further develop the peat bogs to absorb carbon from the atmosphere. I imagine that sheep and red deer would have to be culled to make that happen.
Hi Abbie, great video as always, we came back to Canada after a 3 month stay in Somerset, was great to be back for visit to see family and friends, but Canada was the place to live for us, U.K. as changed so much ( very, very busy) keep up the good work Abbie OK. All the best Kenny. ;-)
Canada - wow! Dreaming of getting there some day. Yes, the UK is crazy busy. Thats why I escape whenever I can into the quieter places. Ha. Thanks for watching! Stay WILD.
Hi Abbie hope you geti this message. Never been to the lake district before only the peak district so would like to do this hike as my first trip to the lakes. Am i right in saying you parked at old methodist chapel braithwaite in Keswick?.....Many thanks.
Absolutely loving your Lake District walks. Is it possible to do these walks just by following the signs as you go? I'm absolutely useless at any kind of map reading using a compass & that's what's put me off trying to be honest. Is using a phone map reliable enough? I'd love to do this.
Hiya. I'm somewhat new to the UK, the culture of walking up places like this is a bit new to me. I've been invited to go with some friends to grisedale pike. Do you think it's something I can handle? Do I need any special clothes or is jeans ok? Sorry for being so ignorant, still learning!
Hi thanks for your comment. Never walk in jeans! If you can get some walking gear that would really help - if the weather turns or your sweat you don't want to be in cotton as it will chill you and not dry out. Maybe do some googles into what to take :)
My goodness Abbie, your demeanour has changed so much since these days. Whereas it seemed a little forced then, you look soooo happy in 2021! Keep smiling that lovely smile 🙂
Thanks Abbie. Love your videos on a dark winter night when the weather's too bad to get out. Nearly spring, you're inspiring me to try new peaks.
Thanks Abbie, we are heading up there today. Sadly not as sunny as your day!
Another beautiful circular walk. Superb scenery and views all around. Lovely film with your usual bouncy commentary. Lovely smiles! Thanks for taking me along, I really enjoyed myself.
Excellent video. The view from Grisedale pike is one of the best in the Lake District and so easy to climb.
Another superb video Abbie. Some wise words there that although quietly spoken speak as powerfully as the glorious mountain scenery. Thanks for sharing and long may you be able to walk wild and share your travels with us all. 👍
Thank you Phil! Glad you enjoyed it. Stay WILD!
Wow! I can see why you love these mountains. Stunning! Thanks again for sharing this amazing place with us
Thanks for journeying with me!
Great walk Abbie with such amazingly clear views. Thanks so much for showing us your adventure.
Thanks for joining me :)

Great walk Abbie. Thanks for making these my wife and I really enjoy them. 🙂
Thanks for following!
You do go to some really spectacular places, thanks for sharing all the scenic views and peaceful peaks.
Not bad at all are they :)
Another wonderful walk I did over 20 years ago that I can't do now... many thanks for taking me back.

Absolutely, thats the aim! Thanks for watching!

superb Abie Another cracking walk in the Lakes, I need to get back out soon Both Body and Mind in Need, Thanks for Taking Us Along, Les.
Enjoy when you do!
Surreal! Thanks Abbie!Looked like you had the trail to yourself!
I did, other than that one runner! #heaven!
Lovely scenery!
Absolutely!

Awesome, Abbie. Thanks for creating this and for sharing. :-)
Thanks for following as always Olly!
You're welcome. I'll try to get on to one of your walks one day. Do you plan many through the colder months?
Nice walk Abbie. Staying near Braithwaite this summer so will do this or the Coledale Round.

Excellent and inspirational video. I must make the effort and re-visit the Lakes in 2019.
Awesome hike...

Yes, you are right - just very hard to use when my hands are full of cameras!

It's funny actually, if you watch my Cumbria Way video you will see at one point they were taller than me! Good point though, thanks for the comment!

Really enjoy your videos and your spirit. Have you ever considered backpacking in the U.S.? Some amazing trails there, too.

What a beautiful hike. Is this recently in October? What was the temperature? Shivering here in the rain. Are you Bear Grylls' cousin?
Haha, he's a good guy but no relation! It was in June actually, my birthday trip for myself :) It was around 28degrees C. Thanks for watching!
14:21 whats that sticking out of your backpack?
A feather :)
