Great unboxing. I bought the Tumi Alpha 3 for exactly the same 2-3 day trips. It's worked beautifully to carry my office kit as well as 2 shirts, underwear/socks, night kit and CPAP. One hack I always recommend on nylon backpacks is to spray well with 3M Scotchguard protectant. Keeps bags fresh and new for years.
Excellent intro and "unboxing". I'm really looking forward to the review of use. This kind of the bag is just fab for travel through the airport and to do work. Perfect it seems for carrying all the tech essentials. Looking forward to your thoughts on how it served you. Real-world testing is the only testing that counts. Thanks for posting the video. Great stuff.
I've loved Tumi for years.... I have several of their bags and have been looking at this one.. Thank you for the great review.. Oh.. and also.. Love the Tardis reference.. :)📱
Nice bag review. Bags are one of those things you could buy a new one every year and still never find the "Perfect Back pack" . I personally cycle through 2 Timbuk 2's, 2 Alpaka's, and my currently daily the now defunked System G backpack. After checking out Tumi I must say the Fench looks rather stylish.
Thank you for the detailed review. I currently have an Alpha Brief Pack (backpack) and I'm considering a second backpack. 1. Would the Search overlap in position with the Alpha Brief Pack? 2. I'm 184cm tall and weigh 84kg. Would the Navigation be too small for me? 3. I plan to use it for daily commuting and weekend outings. Among Search, Navigation, and Alpha 3 Slim Solutions, which model would you recommend? I'd appreciate it if you could also provide the reasons. Thank you once again for the video, and I look forward to your response.
I don't know if you're aware or care at all but that's not the Tumi Alpha 3 -- the current version doesn't have a red Tumi logo and they removed the T-Pass feature
I have the current version. when I bought it, there was paper tag which wroten just 'ALPHA' with white color. However, inside the bag(inside sleeve in the largest space), I found cloth tag which wroten 'TUMI ALPHA 3'. mine doesn't have T-pass feature.
I got this Tumi Alpha 3 bag recently. However, I was also looking to find a way to confirm it's authenticity. Some videos/ articles online suggest that Tumi has a metal plate inside with a SR number on it which you can cross check on their website. I failed to find one on the Tumi Alpha 3 bag. There is a leather patch and something written on it but its too faint to understand. Though my bag looks original, I wanted to cross check for the peace of my mind specially when I paid a decent amt for it.
Mine is clear as day and I used the serial number on the metal plate to register it on the website. I'm sorry, but if it's not there then you do in fact have a fake.
Only $625 for the cheapest version. What makes it worth $625? It would be nice to have something like that in the review. Did you buy that or did they send it to you free for review?
Come see me at my outlet for better deals if you need to! I even have this same exact bad in a discontinued color for half off. Tumi is pricy, so that can help. And you’re still getting the quality :)
Can someone honestly explain to me why these backpacks are $600+? I’ve watched several of these RUclips review / unboxing videos, and I do not see how these backpacks are any different from just a regular backpack. I’m not criticizing the brand, I’m just really trying to understand the value here because I don’t get it….
My daily driver is the TUMI Alpha backpack. The quality is top tier, lots of practical and well made pockets. The material is fantastic, even spilt wine didn't stain it. Damn near impossible to cut the material with a knife, and extremely comfortable to have on your back. I have many backpacks and the TUMI lineup is by far my favorite and most used.
TUMI store manager here. I learned something from ya! I didn’t know the T-pass feature for the laptop spot was back! Hope you enjoy the bag, I trust you will! 😊

Beautiful backpack. I have the small accessory pouches from the same red tag logo so nice. It’s top quality 👌M
I like Backpacks. My Targus has served me well. I mainly use it on trips and cruises for my camera and other gear.
Bought this one last summer, didn’t regret it😉 I wish these were made like their predecessors, chunky zippers and thicker material.
Thank you for the detailed review.

That's what the label says on it. Perhaps there's multiple versions.
I don’t think this bag is authentic……

@@SunghwaAiden there are many different versions, you can register your bag on the Tumi website
@@SChester-nv2me yap, it's not. Tumi did have this model but the one in the video is fake.
I think I may switch to this bag. My current bag is a waterproof Snowboard bag from EVO.
I have an older version of this bag. It’s amazing. But it doesn’t have the luggage pass through. So I may upgrade
The backpack seems great 🔥🔥

听说TUMI比较重,想问一下博主是什么感受?
Is there a Navy blue for this?
I need a bag to go to Citizen Con, thanks.
I'll see you there!
What was showed in the video is an Alpha 2 Brief Pack, not Alpha 3!
Its an alpha 3 but a fake one
@@GrimYak how to spot fake one?
anyone using a Tardis reference in a backpack video definitely deserves a like and a comment ;)
Hello will this be considered a personal item bag on a plane?
It's a backpack, treated just as any other backpack

I’ve had this bag for twelve years, traveled extensively with it, and can’t wear it out.
Good to know!
I had to subscribe because I know what a Tardis is 👀

Not a review unit. TUMI is quality across the board, so you pay for that quality. Consider it closer to a premium bag line.

Love the bag lots of features👌.
Looking forward to the full review of the laptop 🤩🤩
Sorry dude? Alpha 3 doesnt have tpass. This is a line of fake Tumis.
Verified by Tumi actually
Yo don't think this is legit buddy
I dont find this backpack comfortable at all.
Everyone has different body types. I used it all day long at Comic Con and was happy.
