Ben, Thanks for your comment. I do not know how to respond. I feel like if I continue reviewing old D&D Mods, I am giving WotC free advertising. Because of the OGL debacle, I feel I should review adventures outside of WotC's IP/domain/etc.
@@RPGmodsFan I think you're only giving them free advertising if you talk about new adventures ie 5E and newer but old content is not really profitable to them.
B6 is one of the most under appreciated & least known basic modules ever done, AND one of the easiest to run in 1st edition (1e). I have used it many times as the "First Module" for a new group of players. Looking forward to the walk-thru.
At least they were smart enough to try to resolve the debacle relatively quickly. I was expecting this to last more than a year. The damage has been done, but, in the least, WotC have managed to minimize the damage.
I think it's fine to return to d&d content. The public protested and they backed down. I'm in the camp that if a company agrees to the demands, then you return. Otherwise, next time they won't respect or acknowledge any demands future groups make. But folks can do what they feel comfortable with. An expansion to other systems, if they have good old content, is good for content variety as well.
At first I was doubtful this was a "rant", you presented facts in that distinct RPGmodsFan way like you always do, but then the music began to build your passion for the hobby started to boil in the tenor of your voice and CRACK like a lightning bolt guitar riff in a 80 power ballad you said "BLEEP" 4:24 . Yep it's a rant great job! Remember if you post it I'll watch it so review what ever you want.
Thanks for your comment. It put a smile on my face and made me laugh. :-D When I was working in the Corporate World, my greatest "weakness" was my lack of diplomacy. When working, my "motto" was "Get the job done" and "Get it done on time". Now I am trying to be more level headed and diplomatic.

Please keep doing the old TSR modules, it was the reason I found your channel. I also think the third party content would also be good content.
