Disclaimer: I don’t have a camera person or the desire to become some youtube sensation - my only purpose with these videos is to record my own skills and things I’m doing to prepare to drive across the whole Country in a wwii jeep, overland style, and camping out the entire way. Liking the way you use nails and hand tools. Young carpenters today would be stuffed if they were asked to hang a door now without power tools. Great work.

Ross, thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it. I’ve always had a fascination with using and preserving hand tools. Kind of a weird obsession of mine when power tools are indeed so much faster. I do prefer the pace of working with hand tools though, it’s a better pace for me because I can think about my mistakes before I make them, ha ha. This crate ended up traveling the Country with me in the back of the jeep. People always took pictures of it. I left it accidentally on my trip back to PA. I’d left it in my blind spot in Oogalala, NE in an abandoned lot, full of instant coffee, water and snacks. But I suppose that’s the way things go. Hey, thanks for watching.

just starting with carpentry so i don’t have a lot of power tools except an impact drill so i appreciate this alot and gave me inspiration to blueprint a box and make one for my own use
