Oh my Josie, I laughed when you told about people stealing things from ones yard. Last year I made two 'broom children' out of old brooms, and they stood attached to fiber glass poles one each on the side of an old corn cutter I have in our front yard, which is about 20 feet from the road that goes in front of our land, we are in a rural area, yet have neighbors close enough. I dress them for the seasons, one was a girl and one a boy, and I had just changed their clothing and bought each a pair of bright yellow sunglasses. One morning, two weeks ago, I went out for my walk about I call it, looking at what was growing, blooming etc and walked to the front by the plow and was shocked that my 'children' were gone. I couldn't believe it. I asked my husband if he moved them when he mowed, and no, someone actually stole them. I prayed for those, and asked the Lord to let them enjoy them as much as I had. I am now in process of making two more, a couple this time and they will be formed out of chicken wire and wired to the tractor, and if some one is desparate to steal them, I do believe they will have to take the whole plow. "))) They won't be as easy as pulling up a fiberglass stake to be sure. I have thought also to put a dry eraser board out there as well with these words, "Let him that stole steal no more, for ask and it shall be given." In Joy

Good admonition to all of us. It is fun to see the look on a cashier's face when you make good on something left on the cart, or taken unwittingly. I was so proud of my daughter the other day. She's a Mom of a 10 month old so you can imagine a grocery trip and a busy baby. And it was her first time actually back in the store since Covid, she usually did grocery pickup. Anyway, I was with her, and made a restroom stop as we were leaving. When I came back out, she said, Mom I found this in my cart and I didn't pay for it. And she promptly went back to pay. The lady thanked her for her honesty. And my heart was grateful as well.

My husband sings at church so I totally understand. Singing, well actually music whether listening or singing, is such an emotional thing. Fast music and slow music both derive emotion from us. Sometimes others may think we are ok because we are doing “all the things” but what they don’t see is we are going from strength to strength in the Lord. Music breaks down those walls. Sometimes there’s not a song in our heart to give to others. While we would love to hear your music, take your time. I’m sure all your subscribers understand. God bless you sis.
JOSIE, SO SORRY FOR WHAT'S HAPPENED TO YOU. THANK GOD for THE BANK CATCHING IT.👍👍👍👍 I CALL MY BANK AND CREDIT CARD WHEN I GO OUT OF TOWN AND TELL THEM EXACTLY WHERE I WILL BE TRAVELING, WHEN I'M LEAVING AND WHEN I RETURN. HAVE A BLESSED DAY, STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY 🙏🥰👍👌🙏✝️🙏🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🙏
Excellent lesson for us all! The Family - mother, father, children and grandparents... must be protected and revered if we expect America to survive. For who will teach morality if the family unit is destroyed? The government? We all know just how honest and upright the majority of those folks aren’t. Another good one Josie. God bless and be well.
Josie....it starts at home. I was a school bus driver for 40 years. Every Halloween or Christmas I gave all the kids on my bus a small treat. I took notice to just how many kids said thank you to me as I handed them a treat. There were MORE who just grabbed it and walked away then there were ones who said thank you.
In today’s society some parents train and involve their children in thefts....blows my mind. Why would they have theft in their present to make prison their future!
Some of my neighbors have been in my house and outbuildings many times, stealing and vandalizing. They've also killed several of our bushes, trees, and other plants. One young couple has actually trained their children to be stalkers and harassers, and they use them as bait to try to set people up on pedo charges. A lot of people have absolutely NO idea how to behave any more!
That is what my parents were like.If we got in trouble at school we knew we would be in trouble again at home.If anything was stolen we were marched right back with in to be returned with an apology.lI don’t know how people can enjoy the things they steal.I would feel to guilty.Have a good evening Josie.
I had my identity stolen a few years back. It was an absolute nightmare. After all I went through I have no sympathy for a thief! Blessings from Diane also in Oklahoma!❤️
So right. My parents also taught us so much by example. They would've been humiliated to take anything that didn't belong to them. I thank the Lord for that.
Thank you Josey for pointing out that it is the parents responsibility to paint the white lines of direction and correction on the roads of life for their children. If they do not then there will be a crash in the life of their children.
I worked as a caregiver too and I remember one lady who had been a child during the Great Depression. They had 10 children and barely had enough to feed everybody and someone stole one of their chickens and she was expecting her daddy to be mad, but he just sighed and said “Well I hope they needed it more than us.” I also saw a post online from a neighbor the other day about someone stealing his chicken eggs. He says the way the coop is there’s no way it’s an animal stealing them it has to be a human. He was confused and said that he wished that if someone needed the eggs they would just ask him instead of stealing.
I have the same picture of the collie you have in the background. My dad is 82, it hung in his room when he was a little boy. It’s one of my favorite things I have, it’s now in my little boys room.
Josie, it's in the high 100's to low 110's here in AZ since last month. Your daytime highs are our nighttime lows. Yes, it's brutal. Praise God, our poor old window air conditioners are still working! God's blessings to you & your family! 🙏
Thank you Josie. I did that same thing last week. I went to get a prescription and had some fruit items they couldn’t weigh and ring up at the prescription counter so I had a lot on my mind and just walked right out of the store with those few items. After I was in the car I got to thinking that I didn’t pay for those groceries, so I went back in and paid for them and I told the clerk I had accidentally walked out without paying for them and he looked at me like I was crazy.
Hi Josie, it's unfortunate but scammers will try anything to get our hard earned savings. They have a why work when I can steal, scam and lie. They are horrible!
What an excellent talk Josie. My mother taught us well about being honest. And very good to mention going to Sunday school. What others may not see you do, the Lord will. People need to be taught that.
I agree. Unfortunately too many parents are not willing to teach their children the difference between right & wrong. Hope all went well for you @ the bank. Blessings to you and the family. 🕊🙏🇺🇸💜
Hi Josie if it's because someone is hungary that's a different story., but to steal because it's a way to scam someone is deplorable. May God forgive them and show them an honest, better way.
You're right on the mark, Miss Josie. The sad thing is, it is already too late for this nation. Sorry to say, but the damage has already been done. No turning back now. We have 2-3 generations, millions of children that have been raised with absolutely no moral compass. They are not only not ashamed, but they brag and gloat over it. Now, for everyone that hears this teaching and it touches your heart, you do what is honest, true and of a good report with your family. God is watching on a one to one personal basis. The world is in the immediate hands of severe judgement...but you can be part of a city that set on a hill and give light to others. God bless everyone. Amen & Amen.
Sooo True Ms. Josie, Teaching right & Wrong has to start at Home! When I Lived in Town, I had some things Stolen, It made me upset to think People will take other People’s thing’s, just because they want it ! No Respect for Other People’s Property! That is the World we are Living in Today! God Bless you & Your Family! The Heat & Humldity have come back to Arkansas too! I Pray you get your Banking Straightened out! They are sooo Many Scamers out there, that want to take everything you have, because they are tooo Lazy to get a Job & Go to Work!
Hi Josie. Thank you for sharing this. Very good message. I want to share with you something that happened to me many years ago. I was shopping at Walmart for groceries and fabric for making polar fleece blankets for Christmas gifts for my grandchildren. I had a very full cart when I got to check out. It was quite expensive purchase. I left the store and headed home. After putting everything away I checked my receipt and realized that they had never charged me for the fabric which was over $100.00. I called the store immediately and told them what had happened and I would bring it back the next day so I could pay for it. When I returned to the store, customer service brought me back to the fabric department. After explaining to the gal there she went to talk with the store manager. The store manager was so pleased that I had been honest and came in he decided to give me all that fabric for nothing. I did not have to pay, what a blessing. The manager said no one had ever done that before. I was so blessed. I know for a fact if I had not been honest I would have felt so guilty for having not paid for the fabric. We all have to be honest and teach our children the same. Thank you again for the wonderful message. I enjoy listening to you. God bless.
Thank you Josie! Wonderful video! When honesty & integrity are gone we have nothing! Sadly, honesty & integrity seem to be slipping away in our country.
Thank you so very much for posting this. Your channel is such a blessing and your voice is so comforting. I love listening to you in the mornings with my coffee. 👍👍👍👍❤
I'm sorry that happened to you Ms. Josie. You certainly don't deserve that. I don't know how people who steal can sleep at night. We were born with a conscience but it can be seared when people continue to steal. God bless you Ms. Josie.
Im sorry someone stole from you and you have to fix that mess with the bank. I am blessed to be able to hear you and be reconnected with my roots. All my family was from the midwest and moved out to California in the 40's .i had grandmas and grandpas and great grandmas They taught me with morals and values that you always speak of. They taught me about grandparents and parents being the village for the children like you talk about. Growing up here in California I have always sensed im not like the people around me. I hold values and beliefs that are from another time and type of people. I work hard to be the light and an example of right. Thank you Mrs Josie for filling my heart with comfort and feelings of family.❤ thank you for being you🙏
Hi Josie! Blessings to you and yours. My husband and I are in the Lawton, Ok area and I think we may have driven past your area once. We'll wave as we go by if we ever come that way again! Hope you had a great holiday. :-).
Yes, this has been a week for God's blessings on my family. My sweet little grandbaby boy was born yesterday. Its been a hurtful and difficult year since my daddy passed away in March 2021 from pneumonia. He and my mom were married 52 years so its just hard. Well, I am very grateful for my sweet grandson. Definitely something to smile about!
Brought back memories when my son about 10yrs old had climbed a neighbor’s apple tree and got caught stealing apples. He came running home with a shirt tale full of apples and stating we have to make a pie. He told me that the elderly lady confronted him and said she would let him keep them as long as he baked her a pie. So that afternoon we had a long talk about stealing as we baked a pie. I bet she was even more surprised when he went back to her house carrying a freshly baked apple pie
My youngest son came out of the dollar store with a plastic toy that I had not paid for when he was around 6. And Yes even at the dollar store I made him go back in and give it back, he is 19 now. I can only hope he learned from that day going back to the dollar store to give that plastic toy back. I will say this if kids do not get these important character building lessons at home they certainly will not get the lessons from this evil world. The music that a lot of young people listen to, the movies, the television shows, friends and even public school will not teach a child right from wrong. That is for parents to instill into their children. Now after that child is grown of course it is on that young person to hopefully make the right decisions in life and we can only hope that they do.
Yes, it's hard to let them go on their own. But you know (and so do they) what they were taught and you must trust that they learned the lessons. That little toy probably didn't add up to much money but what a lesson you instilled.
Ms. Josie I live in Florida and it has been a very hot year. It was 98 the other day. The best thing you can do is stay hydrated, wear light colored clothing and keep a close eye on your animals. I appreciate your talks so very much 💜💜💜
Great video Josie! If your talk just helps ONE person to straighten up and fly right, that’ll be a step in the right direction. If it’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s a thief!
My daughter when she was young with a friend of hers found some money which was about 200 dollars and her friends mother said to keep it and when I found that out that they were going to buy some things , I made her not to do that and said they should let the police know about it as it could be someone’s rent or for groceries but her friend kept it , but she learned a lesson on that .
It may get worse with stealing. Parents must teach right from wrong. It is sad all the things going on now and not with kids nearly as bad as the adults. We need to teach them early.
It's good that you give God thanksgiving for the wonderful blessings on the Homestead. Gma taught me to 🙏 over everything. I almost died. Only had 24 hours. But God showed his power. I prayed and prayed and God left me here for a reason before I had surgery 😊
Unfortunatelly alot of people think they are entitled. They themselves don’t consider themselves theivs. They just have the right to cheat the system. They don’t even give a seccond thought that they are stealing from you. God Bless you and yours Josie. Hope it works out with the bank. 😊👍
Hi Josie. This is the first time I've left a reply, and wanted you to know how much I always love listening you. I loved listening to Howie too, and am so sorry to hear of his passing. Sending prayers your way, sweet lady. You're the best!!
Good talk Josie, l agree with you completely. EVEN THOUGH I wasn't raised in a Christian home, my parents taught my brother and I were taught right from wrong, and my husband and I taught our three daughters God's way. Personally I didn't know the Lord and get saved until I was 20 years old. But our girls got saved at 10,4,and 4. I'm so thankful that they avoided all the stuff I went through. Then a few years later my parents got saved.
I am so proud of you! You were shy at first! Now you are confident! I am glad you continued with Howie's You tube! Love you Josie and your dear son and family! God Bless!
Thank you Ms. Josie for this awesome video! Sorry you are having to deal with this. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 We all should listen and apply your thoughts & words of wisdom to our homes here in America and around the world. Makes me so mad will people steal, if they are in need just ask there’s always someone out there that Wil help them somewhere. Unfortunately my wife & I feel your pain because we have been scammed as you have been way too many times. And yes mam as for as a child’s discipline & teaching them to respect their elders as well as other people’s property and possessions it definitely starts AT HOME!! Thank you for sharing this. 👍🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻😇

Well another great video with lessons to be learned to live walking with God I am so sorry that happened Josie I hope it all turns out well.,.Bless you
I keep hearing people I know talk about the food giveaways locally. An older lady I know said she went to one of these events, which anybody can go to to receive free food. You dont have to be unemployed or in need. Each person can get up to 10 boxes containing cheese, bag of potatoes, Huge onions, kefir, a gallon of milk, vegetables etc. a lot of food. No questions. So this friend got 10 boxes for her own use, and 10 to give to other people, which was a nice thought. But 20 boxes of food relief given to one person, is mismanagement of resources. We’re hearing of coming food shortages, and it makes me wonder about all this free food being given in communities where people are refusing to keep jobs. Businesses are having to close here because nobody wants to work. But gov sponsored food trucks show up and shower every one in the line with hundreds of pounds of free food. “Free” money giveaways too. Blowing Trillions. The piper is calling.
What I am seeing is here is people not taking the food, and having boxes leftover. I have had some bring boxes to me, and I think that people don't know what to do with the items. I got a lot of sweet potatoes, heads of cabbage and other things that were leftover.
MS Josie good lesson I'm the same way I have gone out after paying for things and. Y purse was sitting on something I ran back in I could not sleep glad I was raised that way was in a little country store once too we t back in guy said thanks for being honest praying you get tho be straightend out just something else you need to add to your already busy schedule love ya
To add to my previous comment. This basic teaching of manners shouldn't have to be taught in schools. It starts at home. Once taught at home, it carries through all walks of life.
Great video! So sad when people steal! Some people choose to steal even though they have been taught it is wrong. It takes good parents and children who listen to make a Godly, honest, person. I believe children need to be taught they figure into the equation of a good family and citizen, also.
My husband carpools with a buddy going to work. One week it was the buddy's turn to drive, so my husband parked his truck in a certain place where he thought it would be safe. When he got back in his truck that evening and started it, it sounded funny. When he got home he crawled underneath it and someone had tried to saw off his exhaust to get the catalytic converter. People sell them on the black market for money. I highly doubt that whomever tried to steal this (they weren't successful, but they saw away at 2-3 different locations on the exhaust so my husband had to spend time and money fixing it) planned to buy food for their family or pay rent. It's more likely that the state is already paying for those things for their family and that the converter would have paid for drugs. I had to give the situation to the Lord in prayer so that I could keep my peace. It hurt me so bad because we live frugally and my husband rarely buys himself anything "just for fun" and it broke my heart that some trifling person caused my husband more work and expense when he was trying to save money on gas by car pooling. I've had the fraud thing happen to me like you did, too. It's so sad that these things are so common now. I have been blessed with good children. They are good people. When each of them was young and I needed to correct them, I'd go a little way explaining my stance or trying to help them understand why I wanted them to do or not do a certain thing. But, when it came down to it I had a thing I would say to end the chatter and it was this: "I am the parent and you are not." And that was the end of it. I raised/am raising my kids with lots of love and kindness and we have a lot of fun, but when it comes down to it~~I am the mom and they are not. Here's a little bit of humor on the subject: My Mom is in her late 70's. Her parents raised 10 children (as well as some grandkids, in-laws, and outlaws ;) ). Her parents lived on a big farm and Grandpa was a coal miner, too. Times were hard and money was tight. Grandma canned tons of food and kept it in the cellar a ways down behind their house. There were some people living a ways off that used to steal her canned food. Grandma used to say, "I don't mind them taking the food so much, but I do wish they'd bring my jars back!" LOL She had a droll sense of humor. In these days of canning lid shortages, I thought this was a story we can relate to. God bless and thanks for the important video! Song of Solomon 2:15
Miss Josie, your message needs to be worldwide. Could you please give me some info on the dog picture over your piano, I have one just like it, that i got from my moms house after she past away. I keep quite a few things from her house and that picture was one of them. Thank you❣
I had gas stolen out of a piece of equipment last year. 15 gallon tank. They took it off and dumped the fuel into buckets or something. Didnt even kill the grass. Fun fact the gas tank had a drain plug. All they had to do was open it.

THANK GOD for THE BANK CATCHING IT.👍👍👍👍
I CALL MY BANK AND CREDIT CARD WHEN I GO OUT OF TOWN AND TELL THEM EXACTLY WHERE I WILL BE TRAVELING, WHEN I'M LEAVING AND WHEN I RETURN.
HAVE A BLESSED DAY, STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY 🙏🥰👍👌🙏✝️🙏🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🙏
Beautiful quilt on back of your chair. Enjoy your videos.
Thank you! 😊
Parents don’t want to take responsibility for their children. It drives me crazy 😮
I would like to hear your Granny's lesson on lying. Why anyone would send their children to public school at this point is beyond me.
People are not held accountable for their actions.
Scripture calls us to be prepared for all things. That's hard to do! Sending Jesus love to you Josie 💕
I worked as a caregiver too and I remember one lady who had been a child during the Great Depression. They had 10 children and barely had enough to feed everybody and someone stole one of their chickens and she was expecting her daddy to be mad, but he just sighed and said “Well I hope they needed it more than us.”
I also saw a post online from a neighbor the other day about someone stealing his chicken eggs.
My grandparents had a slightly bigger size of the same picture. I have always loved it.
This is such a good clip.. exactly the way we feel...
You are absolutely correct ,the true life lessons need to start in the home. The school’s have no business pushing the stuff that they’re doing.
Josie, it's in the high 100's to low 110's here in AZ since last month. Your daytime highs are our nighttime lows. Yes, it's brutal. Praise God, our poor old window air conditioners are still working! God's blessings to you & your family! 🙏
It's awful for sure.
Amen sister. Well said.
It's really sad that doing the right thing shocks people.
Things went well at the bank. Thanks for asking.
Hi Josie if it's because someone is hungary that's a different story., but to steal because it's a way to scam someone is deplorable. May God forgive them and show them an honest, better way.
Josie I can’t tell you enough how your talks inspire me. Thanks to you and Howie.
Thanks Linda
Good teaching Josie! Praise the Lord!
You go Miss Josie, honesty is the best policy, and you are so very right. 😊
Thanks Debbie. The humidity is horrible. Take care.
God bless.
Isn't that amazing!
Thank you Josie! Wonderful video!
When honesty & integrity are gone we have nothing! Sadly, honesty & integrity seem to be slipping away in our country.
Sad but true. God bless you darlin
THE WORLD NEEDS TO HEAR THIS M MESSAGE!
Thank you so very much for posting this. Your channel is such a blessing and your voice is so comforting. I love listening to you in the mornings with my coffee. 👍👍👍👍❤
Same 🙂
I'm sorry that happened to you Ms. Josie. You certainly don't deserve that. I don't know how people who steal can sleep at night. We were born with a conscience but it can be seared when people continue to steal. God bless you Ms. Josie.
Preach it Josie!! I so agree with you about how parents need to become better role models which we need to hear today not to leave it to others
Thank you Mrs Josie for filling my heart with comfort and feelings of family.❤ thank you for being you🙏
So sweet Kimberly
Hi Josie! Blessings to you and yours. My husband and I are in the Lawton, Ok area and I think we may have driven past your area once. We'll wave as we go by if we ever come that way again! Hope you had a great holiday. :-).
Please do! Take care and stay cool!
Congratulations on your new grandboy! And, my condolences on the loss of your daddy.
Just had an issue myself Josie! Don’t steal my stuff either!! You are so right Josie! God bless!
Exactly!!
I appreciate your talks so very much 💜💜💜
Thanks for the tips!
So many children have parents who just let their kids do any thing just to stay out of their way.. so sad.. enjoy your videos always.🥰👏
Great video Josie! If your talk just helps ONE person to straighten up and fly right, that’ll be a step in the right direction. If it’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s a thief!
We love you too Josie! Very good lesson today as always. You make me smile. Stay safe. 💖
Wonderful show Josie. You have said well.
At least you did the right thing.
It may get worse with stealing. Parents must teach right from wrong. It is sad all the things going on now and not with kids nearly as bad as the adults. We need to teach them early.
I've always said if these computer criminals would use their brains for honest work they could be millionaires.
Bless your heart! I love to hear you talk. ❤️🙏😊
You are absolutely correct. I love hearing your words and wisdom. Stay who you are!
It's good that you give God thanksgiving for the wonderful blessings on the Homestead. Gma taught me to 🙏 over everything. I almost died. Only had 24 hours. But God showed his power. I prayed and prayed and God left me here for a reason before I had surgery 😊
Bless you Faye.

You're so cute Josie! So true very good message. I love hearing your stories.
Unfortunatelly alot of people think they are entitled.
They themselves don’t consider themselves theivs.
They just have the right to cheat the system.
They don’t even give a seccond thought that they are stealing from you.
God Bless you and yours Josie.
Hope it works out with the bank. 😊👍
It all worked out at the bank, thank you so much.
Such a good message! God bless you!❤️
Hi Josie. This is the first time I've left a reply, and wanted you to know how much I always love listening you. I loved listening to Howie too, and am so sorry to hear of his passing. Sending prayers your way, sweet lady. You're the best!!
Thanks Shelly, I appreciate your kind words.
Wonderful testimony!
That was so good Josie. Thank you
I am so proud of you! You were shy at first! Now you are confident! I am glad you continued with Howie's You tube! Love you Josie and your dear son and family! God Bless!
It took me a while, and there are still a few things that challenge me.
In this instance the bank was able to stop the theft, and return my money. Praise the Lord!

It worked out well. Thank you

Oh.. Thanks Samantha
This was so good Josie!!

Right!
Awesome message! Thanks for the great vlog!

Welcome!
Great video! So sad when people steal! Some people choose to steal even though they have been taught it is wrong. It takes good parents and children who listen to make a Godly, honest, person. I believe children need to be taught they figure into the equation of a good family and citizen, also.
Yes I agree
Those canning jars and lids are like gold!
Thanks Josie for another good visit. God Bless
And.......don’t forget the mosquitoes 🦟 here in Oklahoma! Terrible this year!
They are bad
sorry this happened to you. Great talk.

Miss Josie, your message needs to be worldwide. Could you please give me some info on the dog picture over your piano, I have one just like it, that i got from my moms house after she past away. I keep quite a few things from her house and that picture was one of them.

I had gas stolen out of a piece of equipment last year. 15 gallon tank. They took it off and dumped the fuel into buckets or something. Didnt even kill the grass. Fun fact the gas tank had a drain plug. All they had to do was open it.
